Chapter 78 Blasting

The flames rose among the ruins, and Donald stood on a stone beside the street, pointing his fingers to wherever he pointed. The next second there was a burning ray of burning rays igniting the dead grass in it.

Anthony and several others followed behind him and watched the situation around him.

When the weeds were almost burned, a blue magic circle was outlined in front of Donald. A strong wind swept away, blowing away all the weeds and embers that burned away the flames confined to a certain area, revealing the things on the ground of the square.

The diameter is about 5 meters. The complex lines and the faint light that vaguely emitted after the injection of external energy, coupled with the semicircular depression in the center of the magic array, should be the place where the items were stored, but there is no sign of what had been stored.

"Why does the ritual magic array appear in such a place?"

The previous line of defense, coupled with the magic circles that are now engraved in the small square outside the government office building, are all weird no matter how you look at it.

“Can you know what it does?”

Anthony's idea was that as long as he knew the function of this ritual magic array, he could use this as a clue to continue to investigate.

"I'm afraid not. This magic array has existed for too long, and some traces have been blurred. It is unrealistic to analyze its function from the lines inside the magic array. My knowledge in this area has not reached this level, and I don't know the conditions for starting this ritual magic array. Otherwise, even if it is a broken magic array, maybe through small-scale repair, you can try to activate it and see the effect."

He jumped off the stone and walked to the center of the magic circle, looked at the layout of the magic circle from side to side, and turned from time to time to scan the surrounding area.

No matter what, since the magic circle appears here, there is naturally a reason.

Since the effect of the magic array is unknown, you might as well assume it as an offensive or defensive magic array first.

Combining the periphery of defense and battle traces, this possibility seems very great to Donald.

There was once a fierce battle here, requiring the use of guns and wizards, and perhaps even strangers would join the battle.

Are the enemies in this town?

This is impossible.

Donald himself is a wizard, and he has the right to speak for the lethality of the wizard. If he only faces ordinary people, even if the other party is fully armed, his spells can easily cause large-scale damage, not to mention some unarmed residents.

On the other hand, the people who once garrisoned here should be on guard against other things...

"Is it just to drive away the disease?"

Although he had already turned around in his mind, in reality, it was only a few more than ten seconds. Anthony was a little unresponsive for a while.

But Anthony is Anthony and soon realized the hidden meaning of Donald's problem.

"You mean that what happened here is not just a disease... Indeed, if you simply look at it from the perspective of burning corpses, you can burn it in a centralized manner. There is such a wide wasteland around here, and it is not a problem to dig a big pit. There is no need to burn the entire town at the cost of burning down."

Because residents are sick, the entire town needs to be destroyed. This practice cannot be explained wherever they are placed.

"Yes, this is the contradiction. Why do they have to do it in vain? Or... they have to do it in vain."

This is a town that can accommodate tens of thousands of people. The invisible assets in it cannot be summarized in just a word. Donald does not believe that anyone would dare to destroy the entire town so hasty.

This is an action signaled by the superiors.

"If they do this to cover up something, then I have reason to believe that there may be some traces in the ruins. I suggest using a relatively stupid method. Anthony, I, Lilo, are each responsible for one direction, Julia and Stephanie, you two are responsible for one direction, how about it?"

This time the grouping changed again from before. Before, Donald would choose to let Julia follow Anthony and take Stephanie with him, and Lilo would walk alone. Even if doing so would be a free direction and affect the efficiency of action, he would rather spend more time for safety.

However, after the previous battle of the ghost wave, Donald realized that Julia and Steffini, who had been under the protection of the three of them, had actually reached the point where they could stand alone and take on some team tasks.

This is their first independent action. Although they are still two, the meanings are different.

The two of them obviously realized this, and Ben's face was a little tired and rosy.

The feeling of being valued and needed is always satisfying and joyful.

"Since you have no objection, you can bring one of my communicators here. If you find anything, use it to notify others as soon as possible."

After distributing the communicator, Donald also gave Julia a horse whistle. Because of his talent, the latter now has a certain reserve of mental power.

They went in one direction to search, but there was no clear target location or any iconic objects.

It sounds like a troublesome thing.

Donald didn't expect to find it soon, and he was even worried that he might not get anything from working all morning or even day.

It turned out that he was wrong.

Julia's ability once again surprises Donald.

When it comes to finding something in this ruin, can anyone compare to the ghosts who have been here for a long time?

Of course, these ghosts themselves do not have much memories, not to mention the few Julia's men were all swallowed up by each other, so it would be impossible to tell who was, let alone those messy memories. Otherwise, Lilo would have known everything if she had killed so many ghosts.

But don't forget that these ghosts have the ability to ignore the collision of objects.

Donald had to rely on spiritual vision when searching. For Julia, she only needed to scatter these ghosts, and if there was any special area, she could easily find them.

"It's here?"

The group gathered together less than two hours after they separated, and Donald asked as he looked at the wild grass piled up with rocks.

"Yes, they say that the bottom is empty."

Julia pointed to the ghost in the shadow of the stone wall next to her and said.

These ghosts were devoured and strengthened by Julia's talent, and they couldn't speak, but there was no problem with simple communication of ideas.

"I can feel that it's here!"

Lilo's perception confirms this.

"You guys go back and go a little further, I'll blow it up."

Donald was not prepared to waste time, so he took out a few inscription scrolls directly from the space ring, level 4 inscriptions - blasting.

Tear the scroll and print the inscriptions one after another in the gravel area where several stones are piled up.

"If this was a place where the Jade County Government deliberately buried it, would it be illegal for us to do this?"

Anthony asked as he looked at Donald walking towards him.

"If you really break the law, you are accomplices."
