Chapter 51 Precision Planning

.At 7:30 am on the 29th, the second department sent the latest information, photos taken by the reconnaissance satellite.

The Indian fleet had entered the Bay of Bengal and was still sailing at a speed of twenty-two knots along the shortest route to Visakhapatnam.

At this point, the last critical condition for launching an attack has ripened.

Mu Haoyang did not issue another order. According to his arrangement, after the whereabouts of the Indian fleet were determined for the last time, the participating troops would take action as planned.

The first thing that was dispatched was the anti-submarine patrol aircraft that moved to Yunnan in the early morning.

According to Mu Haoyang's arrangement, the Navy will dispatch thirty-six FQ1s, that is, one and a half-HNA division, each carrying twelve YJ anti-ship missiles.

yj One of the latest anti-ship missiles of the Chinese Navy, the launch mass is 880 kilograms; a small turbofan engine is used, and the maximum range is 350 kilometers when flying at subsonic speed is 350 kilometers. The warhead at the end of the ballistic is separated from the missile body, and the warhead with a mass of 300 kilograms is accelerated from a small rocket engine to Mach 3; the average hit rate of the missile is 85%.

In terms of performance, yj is not advanced, for example, the range is more than 100 kilometers less than the yj808 ten years ago.

The advanced nature of yj is reflected in the guidance system, that is, in the environment of harsh electromagnetic interference, the average hit rate can still reach 80%. In addition, when designing, the Navy clearly required that all platforms be equipped, including anti-submarine patrol aircraft and large anti-submarine helicopters, so the total quality control of the missile is very strict. Considering the weight of the missile, yj's performance is definitely not bad. In terms of range, yj is nearly 200 kilometers more than the "club" of comparable quality, and the warhead is heavier.

FQ1 is an anti-submarine patrol aircraft, not a bomber.

Carrying twelve yjs, the load capacity is more than ten tons, which is more than four tons more than when performing anti-submarine missions, and it is even more than many medium-sized bombers.

Affected by this, fq1 can only carry two-thirds of the fuel when it takes off.

To this end, the Navy had to arrange eight refueling aircraft to take off at the same time, follow the FQ1 fleet to fly to the Indian Ocean, and conduct air refueling over the northern waters of the Bay of Bengal.

As an anti-submarine patrol aircraft, the FQ1's flight speed is not fast.

In fact, the fq1 was developed from the exhibition, and the first completely self-developed tactical transport aircraft uses four turboprop engines, with a maximum flight speed of only 970 kilometers per hour and a cruise flight speed of only 720 kilometers per hour. When it was modified into an anti-submarine patrol aircraft, the fuselage structure was strengthened, the air weight was increased by two tons, and many electronic equipment was installed, destroying the aerodynamic structure. In order to adapt to the anti-submarine combat needs, the engine was also tuned, reducing the maximum power and improving fuel economy. As a result, the maximum flight speed of the fq1 was reduced to 840 kilometers per hour, and the cruise flight speed was only 630 kilometers per hour. When searching for submarines, the speed could be controlled within 400 kilometers per hour.

After plugging in anti-ship missiles, the FQ1's economic cruise flight speed is only 580 kilometers per hour.

At this speed, it will take at least four hours to reach the central Bay of Bengal. Including the time spent on refueling, it will take four and a half hours to fly.

If nothing unexpected happens, the FQ1 fleet can reach the sea area that attacks the Indian fleet at around twelve o'clock.

In order to ensure simultaneous arrival and attack at the same time, the takeoff time of the carrier-based fighter must be delayed by at least two and a half hours, that is, it will start to take off at around ten o'clock.

However, before that, the air service personnel on the aircraft carrier will be busy.

According to Yang Yufang's arrangement, except for the two j15bs that perform reconnaissance missions, other fighter jets will perform air control missions.

When choosing j15b instead of j25 to perform reconnaissance tasks, the main thing is that you must plug in an external electronic reconnaissance pod.

In addition, the range of j15b is farther than that of j25. If you encounter an air defense fighter, you can escape at high speed. Don’t worry about returning to the fleet without fuel.

In the aviation organization, electronic warfare officers are also mainly equipped to the j15b squadron.

Because the e3g needs to be removed first, the electronic reconnaissance aircraft must take off first and complete the reconnaissance mission alone without the cover of fighter jets.

More importantly, in order to accurately calculate the patrol route of e3g, the two reconnaissance aircraft must strictly follow the route specified by Yang Yufang. They cannot turn before completing the reconnaissance mission, otherwise they will not be able to calculate the exact position of e3g through triangulation.

Fortunately, this is not a difficult thing.

The electronic reconnaissance pod carried by j15b can intercept e3g radar signals hundreds of kilometers away, and the on-board computer can calculate e3g flight data in seconds. The two reconnaissance aircraft do not need to get close to the target, so it is unlikely that they will be intercepted by Indian fighters.

Generally speaking, the Indian Air Force will not allow fighter jets to patrol hundreds of kilometers away from early warning aircraft.

In formal air defense tactics, the distance between the patrolling air defense fighter jets and the early warning aircraft will not exceed 200 kilometers, so as to obtain the information provided by the early warning aircraft in a timely manner. The reason is very simple. The communication distance of the high-bandwidth data link with anti-electromagnetic interference is not far, about 200 kilometers.

At 9:45, two j15b reconnaissance planes took off.

Because there is no need to assemble over the fleet, the two reconnaissance aircraft can arrive in an hour and fifteen minutes and then send back tactical intelligence.

In other words, e3g patrol information can be obtained around eleven o'clock.

If it is not intercepted, the reconnaissance plane will not return, but will stay and continue to monitor the early warning planes to provide real-time information to the missile forces behind.

If everything goes well, the missile forces will launch missiles between 11:30 and 45 minutes.

Ten minutes later, an intermediate-range ballistic missile equipped with a 1,000-kilogram warhead will fall. Even if the early warning aircraft cannot be shot down, it will force the early warning aircraft to return.

In order to ensure that the air-control fighter arrives as soon as possible, the j25 fleet must be launched before 10:15.

This is just the first batch of fighter jets sent by the fleet, with a total of 48, all carrying ammunition in the air control mode, and with it four early warning aircraft. Eliminate the eight j25s that escorted the early warning aircraft, forty j25s will compete with the Indian Air Force fighter jets for air supremacy.

According to Yang Yufang's judgment, there are at most forty-eight Indian fighter jets over the Indian fleet.

Although the J25 aircraft fleet does not have a numerical advantage, the Indian Air Force dispatches up to 24 F22i, and the rest are all 39mki. More importantly, as long as the e3g is successfully expelled, the J25 can easily defeat the Indian aircraft fleet under the command.

But, this does not mean that air supremacy is seized.

The Indian Air Force has been prepared for it and will immediately dispatch on-call fighter jets after the e3g is attacked and send additional early warning aircraft.

In this way, the second batch of fighter jets must be dispatched after the j25 aircraft fleet.

According to Yang Yufang's arrangement, the second batch of fighter jets will be launched after eleven o'clock, with thirty-two j15bs, and two will be cooperated with.

Among them, two J15bs will perform electronic reconnaissance missions, one is to search for the Indian fleet, and the other is to focus on the additional early warning aircraft.

If everything goes well, these two J15bs can provide tactical information for the FQ1 aircraft fleet at around 12:30.

If the Indian Air Force dispatches early warning aircraft, or the Japanese Air Force's e3g returns to the battlefield, the Second Artillery Missile Force will carry out a second missile strike.

During this period, the j25 aircraft fleet will return, and the j15b aircraft fleet will be responsible for air control operations.

If nothing unexpected happens, the attack of FQ1 will end before 1:00 pm, and the j15b aircraft group can evacuate the battlefield at as fast as 1:00 15 pm.

In order to determine the effect of the attack and whether it is necessary to carry out additional bombing, Yang Yu's side also arranged two J15bs to be launched at twelve o'clock.

After these two fighter jets were launched, the j25 fleet would return to the sky above the fleet.

After that, unless additional bombing is required, the aircraft carrier will no longer dispatch fighter jets, but will do its best to recover the fighter jets that have returned.

In fact, even if additional bombing is needed, the j25 aircraft group must be recycled first, then the remaining j15b is dispatched, and some j25s are lifted off again to escort the j15b that performs the attack mission.

It can be said that the intensity of aviation operations is very high, far exceeding the design indicators of the "Yangtze River" class aircraft carrier.

To complete the combat operations strictly in accordance with Yang Yu's plan, in addition to requiring high-quality aviation service personnel, it is also necessary to reasonably allocate resources, such as reasonably arranging the launch and return time of fighter jets to stagger the aircraft fleet. This is definitely a test for the Chinese Navy, which was first allowed to participate in the war.

This shows how high Yang Yufang's position in the fleet is.

It can be said that without Yang Yufang, Mu Haoyang would not be able to play with it, and no matter how good the tactical idea is, it would not be realized.

At five o'clock, the j25 aircraft group began to take off.

Because it follows the fighter jets to seize air supremacy, four aircraft took off after the J25 fleet, and then met with the eight J25s that took off the air. Another forty J25s formed four formations and opened the way forward. It is expected that when they arrive at the battlefield, the distance between the J25 aircraft fleet will be expanded to more than 300 kilometers.

It is not a problem to be slightly farther away. J25 carries electromagnetic rockets and can engage in electromagnetic warfare if necessary.

Fifteen minutes later, j25 and the group left the fleet one after another.

At this time, the two j15b reconnaissance aircraft that were leaving the front had been flying for 35 minutes, about 600 kilometers away from the fleet, and less than 900 kilometers away from the destination. Because there is no need to approach e3g, radar signals can be intercepted at 500 kilometers away, so in the latest half an hour, j15b can gain something.

Mu Haoyang has been staying in the combat command center, waiting for news about the reconnaissance plane.

The aviation combat plan formulated by Yang Yu's side is perfect, but Mu Haoyang always feels that such a precise plan will definitely not be fully realized and will always encounter troubles. If the troubles cannot be solved in time, the subsequent combat operations will be affected, and it may even lead to the failure of the entire combat operation.

However, Mu Haoyang didn't know which link would have problems.

It can be said that Mu Haoyang was in a very nervous mood.

In the fleet, every officer and soldier was in a very nervous mood.

Although we won two battles, this time it was a decisive battle. Only by winning this battle can we seize the power of the sea and eliminate the greatest threat.

If the game is not good, the previous victories will be meaningless.
