18. Chapter 18(1/2)

18

When he walked out of the hospital gate, Ding Ji looked around vigilantly, and then took Lin Wuyu to a small cafe across the street.

"Do you always stay up late in the morning?" Lin Wuyu took a mosquito-killing lamp next to the cashier to the table where they were sitting, "I feel so thin."

"Is that true?" Ding Ji touched his face and sighed, "My mother didn't even see it."

"I'm not your mother," said Lin Wuyu.

"You think," said Ding Ji.

"No, I really don't want to." Lin Wuyu took the order handed over by the waiter, and was taken away by Ding Ji before he opened it.

"I said I'll treat you. Why are you so active?" Ding Ji said, "What to eat and drink?"

Lin Wuyu didn't say anything, just looked at him.

"Don't argue with me. You can ask for barbecue and wine. I can invite you to have a midnight snack. It's normal." Ding Ji said.

"I didn't argue with you. If you don't give me a list, I don't know what to eat or drink?" Lin Wuyu said.

"...Oh." Ding Ji put the list back in front of him.

This is a small cafe that is not very good. The decoration looks like they are both of them. There are no customers in the store. Lin Wuyu looked at the list and ordered two cakes, small bread and a cup of coffee.

"I want a cup of hot milk." Ding Ji said.

The waiter brought them two glasses of lemonade and walked away.

"What don't you eat?" Lin Wuyu asked.

"I really don't have as good appetite as you," said Ding Ji. "I admire you. If you go to open a column, how can I not eat enough to eat."

"Then you go and open a column," said Lin Wuyu, "How did I escape from my shell."

"Did you say it was just now?" Ding Ji laughed, "I didn't get rid of my shell either. Lao Liu knew me. They could give me my name by slapping Lao Liu."

"Will you cause trouble?" Lin Wuyu asked.

"It shouldn't be. Lao Liu couldn't say that he asked me to come. He didn't dare. Then I just passed by and ran away with a stick. My friend was beaten and injured for no reason. I haven't asked them for trouble yet. What trouble do they dare to cause me?" Ding Ji tskated, "Besides, they don't know where I live and where I go to school."

"They probably don't know that you are still in school, right?" Lin Wuyu looked at him.

Ding Ji didn't say anything and kept having fun.

"I don't know if you can win the first place in the second-famous high school, right?" Lin Wuyu said.

"Hey! Wait!" Ding Ji immediately sat upright, "Who is the second most awesome high school? Is the first in the affiliated high school? Who agrees?"

"All teachers and students of the affiliated high school." Lin Wuyu also smiled.

"Then all the teachers and students of the Third Middle School also think that the third middle school is the first. Have you agreed with all the teachers and students of the Third Middle School?" Ding Ji glared.

"Talking about the facts," Lin Wuyu took a sip of lemonade, "The first is me, the second is the dormitory next to me, and the third is the one from you No. 3..."

"The watermelon seller." Ding Ji nodded.

Lin Wuyu smiled so hard that he swallowed the water.

He stared at Ding Ji for a while while smiling: "Really, I'm so old, I'm going to this level for the first time... Are you really Ding Ji?"

"Wait," Ding Jiteng stood up and pointed at him, "Just sit here and wait, I'll get you my paper..."

"No, no, no, no, no," Lin Wuyu smiled and stood up and pressed him back on the chair, "I said the wrong thing."

"Am I Ding Ji?" Ding Ji pointed at himself again.

"Yes." Lin Wuyu answered sincerely.

"Since you were injured today because I was inexplicably injured, I won't bother with you... Actually, I want to ask you too," Ding Ji supported the table with his elbow and leaned in front of him, "You are always the first and second, if the teacher judged the wrong grades, your family still...what attitude towards you?"

"Well," said Lin Wuyu, "they think Lin Zhan must be better than me. No matter what happens or what level I reach, Lin Zhan will be better than me."

"What kind of monster is Lin Zhan?" Ding Ji looked unhappy. "How old was he when he left? Didn't he graduate from junior high school? Why are people who have not taken the high school entrance examination better than you?"

Lin Wuyu smiled and didn't say anything.

He also had such unpleasant doubts and raised them once.

But his parents' painful reactions that almost collapsed made him feel a little regretful. Since then, he has never thought about such a naive problem again.

"Do you hate him?" Ding Ji asked.

"Who?" Lin Wuyu retracted his thoughts.

"Your brother," said Ding Ji, "Is it unhappy to be compared to always being considered unmatched?"

"It's not just unhappy," Lin Wuyu smiled. "I have been wondering for a while and I'm really a fool... My mother at my elementary school deskmate is a doctor, and I also asked her to help me test my IQ."

"Damn," Ding Ji frowned, "How many did it measure?"

"I don't remember," said Lin Wuyu, "I just want a relatively scientific conclusion."

"If you have this concept in elementary school, you can't be a fool, okay? Ordinary smart children can't think of this level," Ding Ji frowned, "What is the conclusion?"

"I'm very smart," Lin Wuyu laughed, "Can you have any other conclusions?"

"Oh my brother! I've never seen anyone like you... not very annoying," Ding Ji leaned back on the back of the chair, "Have you been so arrogant since then?"

"It's almost the same," Lin Wuyu thought for a while, "I told Lin Zhan about this, he said..."

Lin Wuyu suddenly stopped.

He never mentioned Lin Zhan to anyone, let alone such details.

"What did you say?" Ding Ji poked his hand.

"He said, if I really think I am a fool, I wouldn't have gone to find a conclusion." Lin Wuyu said.

"It makes sense." Ding Ji said.

"Yes, when I thought, that's it, I do think I'm actually quite smart, so..." Lin Wuyu pondered for a while.

"So you suddenly realized," Ding Ji said, "You can have this awareness among primary school students..."

"So I have to be so proud." Lin Wuyu said.

"Damn," Ding Ji was stunned, "I'm still helping you to connect the past and the future and brew emotions!"

"Isn't my emotions brewing right?" Lin Wuyu said.

"I thought you were going to cry, and I wanted to find some convenience for you to cry," Ding Ji said, "After all, I haven't told anyone about this before."

Lin Wuyu didn't say anything, and looked at Ding Ji and narrowed his eyes.

"It's not counting, it's observed." Ding Ji curled the corner of his mouth, "Do you agree?"

Lin Wuyu also curled the corners of his mouth: "Did you observe me so carefully..."

Ding Ji lowered his voice: "Do you tell me if this is..."

"Be careful, I say yes." Lin Wuyu flicked his fingers on the table twice.

"Damn," Ding Ji was stunned, "It's so dangerous."

Lin Wuyu has never done nothing like this night, just having dinner, drinking, drinking, and chatting with people... Oh, and running away at night.

He has many friends, but there are basically no ones who can waste his night doing these things.

Xu Tianbo is OK, but compared to outside, Xu Tianbo prefers cats to play games in the dormitory.

Lin Wuyu looked at Ding Ji, not knowing why he was willing to waste time with him so much and wasted relaxed and happy.

After they came out of the cafe, they didn't go back separately, and they walked around the road outside the hospital and chatted.

"I talked very early, and no one taught me when it was not too big, so I would count it. It was fine to count it. Later, I recognized the words and counted it. I could learn it once. My grandfather said, "I don't need to teach it again," Ding Ji lowered his head and kicked a little stone slowly. "At that time, I said that I was a little prodigy. I was quite proud at the beginning."

"I should have been proud of myself," said Lin Wuyu.

"Later, other relatives and neighbors in my family," said Ding Ji, "and they all started to say that they would definitely have a future in the future. They would be successful in their parents and give their parents a face. Look how good this inherited... blablablabla... My grandparents also said this, and my sister-in-law..."

Ding Ji frowned and looked at him: "Do you understand that feeling? It's very scary. I dreamed when I was in the first grade and dreamed that I didn't get a hundred points in Chinese, so I was scared to tears."

Understand.

Although he had never experienced such pressure, Lin Wuyu could still feel the horror of Ding Ji's child at that time from Ding Ji's current expression.

He reached out and patted Ding Ji's back.

"I was not able to do it when I was in the third grade. I was nervous if I didn't learn anything. Am I a little prodigy?" Ding Ji sighed, "and then I... was it a bit too early for my rebellious period? Anyway, I was very disgusted with others saying that I was smart and called me a little prodigy. And I couldn't figure out why I had to fight for people I didn't know to be so cruel and had faced so much. I yelled at my grandparents, and I also fell into something. After the fall, I was sick."

"Did you just rub the words on the book at that time?" Lin Wuyu smiled.

"Well," Ding Ji rubbed his nose, "Anyway, grandparents and sisters are all scared. They can still follow me and never praise me for being smart."

"Why does it sound so strange?" Lin Wuyu smiled for a long time.

"But," Ding Ji turned his head and looked at him, "I will remember what you said today."

"Yes." Lin Wuyu stopped his smile.

"I'm serious," said Ding Ji, "I was very moved at that time and almost cried."

"Do you cry often?" Lin Wuyu asked.
