Chapter 224 Searching for the Mountain and Entering the Temple
I thought I could go back to Ise with the book of dismissal, but now I was a little dejected. I found Bimo to change the letter to Nobunaga to make some sense to make me feel at ease. Seeing the traveler who was sending the letter far away, Yi Shi shook her head and sighed helplessly. In this mirror, she proposed to go to the temple to worship, and ask the Buddha to bless the adult in his family, Wu Yun, to prosper.
The one I wanted to go to was the Kinkaku Temple, but because of the war, tourists were prevented from visiting. If you want to obtain a visit permission, you can only ask for Kyoto's adherence, not the general. For this reason, Yoshiki came to the largest temple in the Yama Castle, Kiyomizu Temple. The three scenic spots of the Yama Castle, the first one is Ashikaku's current residence, Nijo Castle, where the rest are Kinkaku Temple and Kiyomizu Temple.
According to legend, this temple was built by the great general Malu Ueda Village during the Tianbao period. It was built by the people of Yanzhen. Kiyomizu Temple was named after Qingshui in the temple. It is followed by the stone steps of Aoyuan to be Yinyu Waterfall. The clear spring is divided into three parts, representing longevity, health, and wisdom, and is regarded as having magical power. Visitors will definitely come to take a sip when passing here, which is said to prevent diseases and disasters.
The mountain name of Kiyomizu Temple is Yinyu Mountain, which mainly worships Thousand-Armed Guanyin. It originally belonged to the Faxiang Sect, but it has now become the Omoto Mountain of the Northern Faxiang Sect. Founded by Master Ci'en, Master Ci'en was the first disciple of Tang Monk in Japan. Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku Temple (Luyuan Temple), Arashiyama, etc. are the most famous places in Kyoto, and worshipers are constantly in all seasons. In addition, Ishiyama Temple and Haseji Temple have been famous as one of the few Guanyin spiritual places in Japan since ancient times. Since the Heian era, it has often appeared in Japanese literary works.
When you walk into the mountain gate, you will see the Renwang Gate. Speaking of this Renwang, it is actually a Buddhist honorable title for Buddha. However, there is also an idiom called Renwang Tsuki in Fusang, which is a story between Niu Wakamaru (Geniyosuke) and Musashiba Boke. Musashiba Bokeki, the most loyal subordinate of Yoshiba Bokeki, is the legendary strongest mad monk soldier. His Renwang Tsuki on the battlefield of Yikawa has been passed down to this day. The so-called Renwang Tsuki actually means that Benkin was seriously injured at that time and even exposed his internal organs, but he still stood up to continue fighting, and even took out his internal organs and threw them at the enemy... Until long after his death, the enemy soldiers still did not dare to approach him.
Walking on the mountain road on the mountain, you can see the triple pagoda from afar. According to legends from the surrounding tourists, this pagoda was worshipped in the 17th year of Astronomy, which means 1548. When Yishi was about fourteen or five years old, he climbed up the steps of the soil and saw more and more ancient trees coiled around the surroundings, making it look very quiet. At the same time, the Jinge Temple seems much more rustic, one is the ambition of spending all his money, and the other is the quiet and secluded silence.
There are not many tourists, but there are many incense on the road that can be seen in the soil. Smelling the slightly smoked sandalwood smell, it feels wonderful to climb the mountain with the women, and the unpleasantness of the day before yesterday fades away. Turning back and looking at a small temple next to it, Yishi discovered a familiar figure. The still-standard back of the scattered talismans, and the shabby monk robe. This was Zongheng, the host of Yishi at Yanhe Temple. When the two passed by, Yishi didn't want to pay attention to it, he couldn't recognize him. After all, it's hard to see a three-year-old child now so old.
"Sir." Sakurako pulled the corner of Yishi's clothes behind her.
He turned around and sat on the steps, "What? Are you tired, then take a rest." He wiped the sweat from his head with his sleeves.
"No, I have a heartless request. I want to meet the Fahua Samadhi Hall." When I saw the expression of Yoshiki, Sakurako seemed even more shy.
"Haha, what's the matter with this? Just say it just right. We are a family." Yishi smiled, "By the way, where is that place?"
A Xi looked around and said, "Oh, that master." He quickly called out Zongheng who was leaving.
Zong Heng turned around and curiously asked a large number of three people to perform a Buddhist ritual, "I wonder what the four donors have to teach you."
Yi quickly stood up and returned the favor. During the action, he also expressed Ah Xi's powerlessness and felt sorry for "Master Zongheng, how can I go to the Fahua Samadhi Hall?" He replied respectfully.
Zong Heng nodded, pointed to a temple in the middle of the mountain, and told Yishi and others the direction. The place is still a little far from Shanmeitang. Samadhi Hall is cultivated in orchid fog, so it seems to have a feeling of the Chinese Taoist immortal style and Taoist dynasty.
"By the way." Zong Heng still clasped his hands and looked at Leyi with a questioning look on his face. "I don't seem to have met this donor, so why do you know your name?" It was a bit surprising that the host of a remote small temple recognized him here.
Yishi knew that he was saying the wrong words, but it was always a bit embarrassing to recognize each other. In Suruga, this place was a stigma of the judge. Thinking of a Buddhist Zen saying, he quickly bent down and replied, "You can't say it. Since it's wrong to say it."
"The donor's wonderful words are received by the lower zongheng, and he wants to go down the mountain. If he wants to go to Amitabha Buddha Hall tomorrow, he is listening to the master's wonderful words." He bowed respectfully, turned around and walked down the mountain.
"By the way, sir, how did you know him?" Ah Xi looked at Leyi's clan with big eyes.
Looking at Zongheng who was leaving, "When I was a child, I was the first temple I was kidnapped by Master Xuezhai, which was his." Yi Shi had no idea whether it was helpless or some sad memories.
After a long journey, Yi Shi's legs were a little numb, and the three people behind him were very energetic. Jing and Axi were fine. Why can Yingzi walk so well? Finally, she came to the Lotus Samadhi Hall. Why did this name come to the Tiantai Sect? There are four kinds of samadhi, among which the half-performing and half-sitting samadhi are divided into two kinds of samadhi, including the square samadhi and Lotus Samadhi. The Lotus Samadhi is based on three to seven days. It is practiced and recited scriptures, whether you are walking or standing or sitting, and contemplated the principles of the true truth.
The temple is worshipped by Mahakasyapa. He holds the horn of the cassock with his left hand and his right hand facing outward, making a fearless seal, and sitting on the red lotus flower. However, women are strictly prohibited from worshiping here. Kasyapa has a more restrained personality and attaches importance to asceticism and precepts throughout his life. Kasyapa extremely opposed women to become monks, and he also did not agree with the Buddha's teachings of "small precepts to be abandoned" that Ananda preached after the Buddha's death. According to legend, Kasyapa once ordered the Buddha to enter Jizu Mountain to enter meditation after the Buddha's death, and intends to wait for Maitreya Buddha to be born, and the allusion of "Smile in the Flower" preached by Zen is also the story of the Buddha's teachings preaching to Kasyapa.
