Chapter 711: Hanhai Counterattack

War in the Far East was in full swing, with more than one million Far East uprising troops sweeping most of the Far East and provinces. The Hanhai Empire's troops stationed in the Far East shrinking their defenses and defending several provinces close to the Hanhai Empire.

Seeing that the Far East Uprising Army was about to defeat the Hanhai army and regain the Far East region occupied by the Hanhai army for nearly two years, the situation on the battlefield took a sharp turn.

Since the Kashgar Far East Uprising Army was advancing all the way in August, commander Zhao Yun personally led three large army of more than one million troops to launch a thunderous attack on the last army stationed in the Far East of the Hanhai Empire, trying to encircle and annihilate the Hanhai army.

The Far East Uprising Army had huge troops. The remaining Hanhai Army stationed in the Far East was only more than 500,000. They did not dare to confront each other head-on and took the initiative to give up some areas and cities. This made the ambitions of the Far East Uprising Army expand rapidly, and the battles and victory in many soldiers also made them feel arrogant.

However, Zhao Yun, the commander of the Far Eastern Uprising Army, did not realize that this was just a fist tactic of Simon, the Marshal of the Hanhai Empire. He evacuated all the Hanhai troops from various regions and cities and gathered them back into a powerful force, like a clenched fist, preparing to give a fatal blow to the spreading Far Eastern Uprising Army.

The first punch of the Hanhai Empire hit the Far East First Army. Marshal Simon personally led 500,000 elite Hanhai Empire troops to face the Far East First Army in the Bath Province. The two sides fought for a three-week fierce battle around Bath City.

Although the Far East First Army had an astonishing force of seven legions of 670,000 troops, the soldiers were of varying quality, and there were very few soldiers who could fight. They had huge troops on the front but were defeated by the elite Hanhai Army step by step.

In order to win the battle, Du Xuan, commander of the Far East First Army, commanded an elite army to attack Bass City, attempting to implement the central breakthrough tactic. However, when faced with the tenacious resistance of the Hanhai army, not only did not take Bass City, but instead consumed a large amount of his elite strength.

After the 150,000 light cavalry in the Hanhai went around the back of the First Army through the loopholes in the Far East Army's defense line and gave a fatal blow, the huge number of First Army was like an avalanche, falling apart in one day and beginning a major defeat.

Hundreds of thousands of people from the Far East Army rushed to defeat. Behind them were 150,000 Hanhai Iron Cavalry armed to the teeth, chasing and slashing all the way, and blood spreading on the earth. The Hanhai Cavalry chased hundreds of miles and completely defeated the Far East Army. Then they stopped.

After the defeat of the Battle of Bath, the original 700,000 troops disappeared. The Hanhai cavalry had more than 100,000 heads cut off during the pursuit of the cavalry, and all the swords were cut, and dead bodies were everywhere on both sides of the road.

In less than two months from its establishment to its demise, the First Far East Army had a ray of waves in the long river of history and then disappeared. Their commander Du Xuan was also killed in the chaos.

About 350,000 soldiers affiliated with the First Far East Army could not run anymore and surrendered to the Hanhai Cavalry who were pursuing them. The Hanhai Cavalry created an amazing record. One Hanhai Cavalry actually captured more than 800 soldiers of the uprising army.

When the news of victory reached Simon, the Marshal of the Hanhai Empire, he didn't believe it at all. When he went to the dense camp of prisoners himself, he knew why their army had achieved an unprecedented victory, and 150,000 cavalry actually defeated hundreds of thousands of rebels.

The scale of the Far Eastern Uprising Army expanded too quickly, resulting in extremely low combat effectiveness. Children as young as eleven or twelve years old, and old men who reached seventy or eighty years old became soldiers of the Uprising Army.

Harpoons and sharpened wooden sticks became the main weapon of the rebel army. In a flag camp, there were no more than two hundred soldiers with sword armor. This was a terrible number, and more importantly, the large number of grassroots officers were lacking.

This led to the original thousand-strong leader of the Far Eastern Uprising Army becoming the commander of the corps of 50,000 or 60,000. He was not strong enough and experienced. Most of the village elders and prestigious people at the grassroots level served as grassroots officers. Many of them didn't even recognize words. They stared at each other in the face of the orders passed by the above and could not recognize words.

It is precisely because of the large number of problems in the Far East Uprising Army that although the Far East First Army had hundreds of thousands of people, it was destroyed in just one battle against the elite Hanhai army.

More than 300,000 troops of the First Far East Army became prisoners of the Hanhai people. Marshal Simon had no mercy or kindness to these former rebels.

"The Empire's excess food is used to feed so many people." This is the original words of Marshal Simon.

Since the Far East Uprising Army rioted, the Hanhai army has lost a large amount of food and grass and cities. They really don’t have that much food to support 300,000 prisoners.

The massacre began on a dark night. Hanhai army raised the butcher knife. They pulled out the unarmed prisoners in rows and cut off their heads. The massacre lasted for about three days. All 300,000 surrendered Far Eastern Uprising Army were slaughtered and none survived.

When the First Far East Army was defeated in the Battle of Bass and suffered inhumane massacre, Zhao Yun, the commander of the Far East Uprising Army, commanded the Second and Third Far East Army, still launching fierce attacks on the 300,000 border guards besieged in the plains.

The 300,000 Hanhai Border Defense Forces were like a magnet, and nearly one million Far Eastern Uprising Army were attracted to the plains of De'an Province. Although the Far Eastern Uprising Army launched countless fierce attacks, the Hanhai Army was like a smelly and hard stone, and they could not chew it at all.

The failure of the continuous attack greatly affected the morale of the Far East Uprising Army. The war caused the wounded and sick to rise sharply. The daily ration consumed by the two armies was astronomical, and they both needed to be transported from the occupied area to the front line. As the Hanhai Cavalry freed up from the Bass battlefield, the lifeline of the Far East was immediately fatal to be threatened.

The destruction of the First Far East Army was like the last straw that broke the camel's back. While shocking the Second and Third Far East Army, panic spread rapidly.

"The Hanhai Empire drew one million elite troops to enter the Far East."

"The 500,000 cavalrymen of the Hanhai Empire have already blocked our retreat."

"The first army's 700,000 people were killed by the Hanhai people..."

......

Rumors were flying everywhere, the second and third group soldiers were panicked, and their morale continued to fall. Facing the unbearable Hanhai army, Zhao Yun was in a tangle. Should he withdraw his troops or continue to attack?

While Zhao Yun was still struggling, Marshal Simon of the Hanhai Empire had already led the Tiger and Wolf Division to pounce on the battlefield of Bath, and more than 100,000 cavalry went directly to capture the second and third army of the Far East.

It has to be said that Marshal Hanhai Simon has huge ambitions and appetite. He has realized that he is facing a huge waste. Although he has nearly one million troops, he is a vulnerable mob. So he wants to eat up this huge enemy, suppress this uprising in one fell swoop, and restore the Hanhai Empire's rule in the Far East.

When Zhao Yun, the commander of the Far Eastern Uprising Army, thought for three days, finally decided to retreat temporarily, their retreat had been blocked by the Hanhai army and there was no possibility of withdrawing.
