80. Cakes are just lies

Lu Li slowly woke up.

With the return of consciousness, the sound of the constant tide echoed in my ears day and night, and the smell of wet sea filled the surroundings.

I didn't wake up in a lunatic asylum

After realizing this, Lu Li opened his eyes and sat up from the bed in the wooden house.

A candle that was only burning as long as a little finger stood leaning on the dining table, and the long coastline and lead-colored sea surface appeared outside the mottled windows.

He was taken to a coastal town.

Lu Li fell asleep in a coastal wooden house projected on the underground ocean, so it seems reasonable to appear in a real wooden house.

The dark holes on the real floor also disappeared, leaving no trace.

"Trouble."

Lu Li whispered.

He had no time to explore the doubts caused by this place, so he stood up and walked to the door and opened the wooden door. When he was about to leave, Lu Li left and returned, blew out the remaining candle on the table, took it with him and left the wooden house.

A line of footprints was left on the soft sand. Lu Li returned to the street along the shore and asked the town residents for the location of the carriage house.

The residents of the town told Lu Li bad news - because of the dwindling number of tourists, the carriage company had moved out of the town two weeks ago.

In order to rent a carriage, Lu Li had no choice but to go to the police station, reveal his identity and ask them to find a carriage as quickly as possible.

Because of Lu Li's special status, the police station, who thought something strange had appeared, quickly sent out police officers to find an empty carriage for him.

Fortunately, falling asleep in the underground ocean didn't seem to consume precious time. It was more like a means of transporting Lu Li back to reality.

Even though the candle is only as big as your little finger.

However, time still passed due to Lu Li's delay inside. Earlier today, he and Anna entered the passage separately in the early morning, and it was already afternoon.

I hope Anna is still waiting for me in the lunatic asylum.

Lu Li thought.

While waiting, Lu Li saw the real Richard Federman - the devil pretending to be him unexpectedly let him go.

He had already learned from his colleagues that Lu Li was related to the previous demon incident and the incident at the beach house. Richard Federman came up to talk to him and tell him something.

The people from the Joint Exorcist Organization arrived the day after Lu Li left, but by then the matter had been resolved because of the devil's departure. Richard Federman only knew that a devil with evil intentions was pretending to be himself. Fortunately, he didn't

Nothing bad happens, except to poor Mrs. Merlin.

Richard Federman is like the devil, with a paranoid interest in the case, but not as fussy and nagging as the latter.

After not chatting for too long, the police station found a carriage and a groom for Lu Li.

The carriage was private to the groom, and he had to drive the carriage back after sending Lu Li to his destination.

Saying goodbye to everyone in the police station, Lu Li got into the carriage. The group of people said goodbye and gradually went away, disappearing at the end of the street.

It has only been a few days since I last passed here, and the scenery on the roadside has not yet faded from my memory.

The coachman who was on his way did not dare to speak proactively because he was in awe of Lu Li. Lu Li, who was temporarily calm, fell asleep and rested lightly in the slightly bumpy carriage.

An hour later, Lu Li was awakened by a large vibration in the carriage. He raised his head and saw that the groom was looking nervously into the carriage.

"Sorry sir, a rock rolled down from the mountain is blocking the road."

"It's nothing." Lu Li shook his head and said, "Where are we?"

"We just came to the middle of the Luoye Mountains from the fork in the road. A dozen miles ahead is Luoye Town." It seemed that Lu Li was not very cold. The groom began to talk more unconsciously, and asked curiously: "Sir, are you going to the Allen Peninsula to save the people?"

Human?"

"Rescue?"

Before Lu Li continued to ask, a speeding carriage suddenly appeared in front of the carriage.

The groom quickly pulled the reins to the side of the road to avoid being hit by the imminent carriage. As he passed by, Lu Li saw the fearful expressions of a mother and daughter in the carriage through the carriage window.

It was as if they were fleeing...

The dust raised gradually dispersed, revealing the outlines of more carriages ahead of the road, but they were not as anxious as the carriages that had just passed by.

Rodster Port should have been restored. Why did these carriages coming from the Marsh Road leave the Allen Peninsula in a hurry...?

"What happened to Allen Peninsula not long ago?" Lu Li asked the groom after realizing something.

"Don't you know? Three terrifying monsters emerged from the bay of Belfast..."

Lu Li's brows gradually wrinkled.

This event was broadcast via radio, so there is no need to doubt its credibility, and it also shows the attitude of the Council of Elders and the United Organization: they do not intend to hide the strange appearance any longer.

The groom told Lu Li that this broadcast rang in the early morning, just when Lu Li arrived at the lunatic asylum. The broadcast told people that three huge monsters had appeared outside the bay of Belfast, creating mist and quickly disappearing in outline.

Amid the bizarre and unknown conditions, broadcasts have warned people to stay as far away from Belfast and the Arran Peninsula as possible.

It's a pity there are no more details.

After driving in silence for a few more minutes, a stopped carriage appeared on the edge of the road ahead. A middle-aged man was changing the wooden wheels of the carriage under the watchful eyes of his family.

"Close them."

Lu Li said to the groom.

The carriage waiting to pass passed by and the carriage approached them. Lu Li stepped out of the carriage under the puzzled gaze of the family and revealed his identity to them.

"Are you from Belfast?"

After receiving confirmation, Lu Li asked them what happened in Belfast.

The man showed fear, looked back at his wife who was covering his son's ears, and said with a chill: "Three... I don't know what those things are, they are alive! They can spit out mist! Those exorcists said it was a strange mist.

, they were responsible for the fog last night!”

What is their purpose in approaching Belfast and what does it mean?

It’s unknown, but one thing has become common knowledge: a strange fog has once again enveloped Belfast.

"Keep walking."

Lu Li returned to the carriage and continued to move against the traffic flow.

An hour later, the carriage arrived at the swamp road.

Lu Li opened the car curtain and looked towards the south swamp. He vaguely spotted Ying Chuo's figure in the shadow of the passing trees.

The Mother of the Swamp discovered Lu Li, or in other words, it had been observing the people coming and going on the swamp road.

The Mother of the Swamp may know something, but it's a pity that Lu Li didn't have time to go deep into the swamp and ask under the huge banyan tree.

Continuing on the road, the carriage left the swamp road half an hour later and headed towards the Sugard Mountain in the distance.

On the road, fleeing traffic and people gathered together, forming an even more spectacular car queue with no end in sight than when they first came to Belfast.

In the afternoon, with only about an hour left before dark, rising black smoke finally appeared in front of the road.

The carriage stopped outside the lunatic asylum. Lu Li got out of the carriage and approached the woodshed.

An illusory figure in a white dress hugged her knees and sat alone in front of the charred ruins with thick smoke. Sensing the visitor, she looked at him indifferently, then the frost melted and she rushed towards Lu Li.
