Chapter 13: The battle is over

Before the German tanks crossed the trench, William quickly ran to the second line of defense with Thor's telescope. This time he was more alert to the German tank guns. He would look back every time he ran a distance. After running more than 100 meters, William finally walked into the second trench.

Immediately afterwards, William turned on the sniper mode again. After unable to see the enemy commander, William directly aimed at the periscopes of the ten tanks and the periscopes of the ten tanks.

As long as those periscopes are knocked out, the role that the tank can play will be greatly reduced.

William found a good shooting position, patted the reserve of the soldiers who were shooting between the two sandbags, and shouted: "Give it aside!"

The soldier who was red-eyed turned around and saw the sniper rifle and epaulette in William's hand, and made a quick move away from the position.

"Please kill those German guys! Sir!"

The soldier didn't move his seat and squatted down to load the bullets.

William did not speak after lying on the cover, and kept moving back and forth on the roof of a tank.

He was trying hard to aim at the two periscopes on the roof of the car, the size of beer bottle caps. Even if William had his hands firm and his eyes were good, it was a challenging thing to hit the periscope that kept bumping back and forth.

After aiming back and forth for half a minute, the soldier who gave way had already pressed the magazine, and William was not sure.

Fast, fast, fast! Prediction! Prediction!

William gradually became impatient. After the target tank entered a hundred meters away from the second trench, William pulled the trigger.

The bullet passed through the thick smoke and dust, crossed more than 80 meters, and hit the edge of the periscope.

"Damn!" William saw the impact effect from the sniper scope and almost jumped up excitedly. Although the bullet did not hit the periscope, the impact force still shattered the periscope's lens. One of the tank's eyes was blind!

The soldier was also very excited when he saw William's excited appearance. He seemed to be the leader who was hitting the German guys with an important unit!

As long as it can kill those Germans, it is worth being happy!

The spider sensing appeared, and William quickly lowered his body, and several bullets hit the sandbag, disappearing without a trace.

William left the place, stuffed a grenade on his body into the soldier's arms, and left here.

As if he was favored by the God of Heat Weapons, William broke the enemy tank's periscope one by one in the snipers afterwards, making the tanks turn into blind people without eyes.

If they opened the small window in front of the tank, it would be even better!

William would enthusiastically send the bullet into the window, allowing the driver in the tank to make a big hole in his head!

William, who has defined himself as a sniper, has made an outstanding contribution on this battlefield that even a company cannot achieve!

After all the tanks were blinded, the German army finally could not bear the number of casualties and issued a retreat order.

In the end, the German army, which had captured two lines of defense, fled completely. Three tanks were stranded on the battlefield because of the sudden death of the driver. The other tanks accidentally crushed more than a dozen friendly troops while driving.

After seeing the Germans fleeing, the frontline command quickly issued a pursuit order, and all the soldiers climbed out of the trenches to chase the already frightened Germans.

William finally had time to rest, leaned in the trench with relief, watching a person crossing his head, without any turmoil in his heart.

He no longer thinks about the future, nor does he think about becoming stronger. He just quietly listens to the sound of gunfire in his ears, and enjoys the victory he has made with his own hands.

Before he knew it, William squinted his eyes and fell asleep...

"Sergeant...Sergeant!"

I don't know how long it took, William was awakened.

A supervising soldier was half-squatting beside him, the sound of gunfire around him had stopped, and the sound of loose footsteps echoed in his ears.

When the supervising soldiers saw William opening his eyes in confusion, they immediately stood up and asked, "Is it Sergeant William Evans?"

William saw the armband of the visitor clearly, got up from the trench with difficulty, nodded, and said, "I am William Evans."

Seeing that he had found the right person, the supervising soldier said, "Sergeant Evans, please come with me to the command center. Major General Marlow is going to see you."

...

Quisdummarlow, the battlefield commander here, a young general who was promoted to major general at the age of 35, had his best military qualities not allowed him to find a chance to counterattack under the attack of elite German troops.

No matter how he used his brain to think about strategies, he would bow his head under the German artillery fire.

A battle can be a bloody battle between soldiers or a game between commanders.

Quisdummalo had few defeats in his military career, and he gradually took up the rank of major general. Now he is sent to the front line to independently command an important battle of 10,000 people.

Originally, being crossed by a German suicide squad in a canyon and attacked a supply convoy made Major General Marlow very nervous. He even expected the bad ending of the defense being crossed by the German army and they were forced to retreat.

He studied the map back and forth in the command center, trying to find an opportunity to break through the predicament in this bare area, but until the situation continued to develop in a very bad direction, Major General Marlow still couldn't think of a way to break the deadlock.

What's worse is that the enemy found the position of the artillery position, and shortly after the battle started, three artillery was lifted by the German anti-aircraft cannons.

Reduce the threat of heavy firepower by half in an instant!

If you want to drive the German army out of the good allies of the United States, the territory of the British Empire, it may take another tug-of-war.

This made Major General Marlow scratch his head. What's more serious is that if he fails in this battle, he may be demoted, considered to be lacking in ability, and will be run by rookies from the sky.

The chance of Marlow climbing up will disappear with the failure of this battle...

Just as Marlow was about to explode the phone number of the Air Force, a small battle report was passed to him.

A sharpshooter sneaked in from the recruits and killed nearly one-fifth of the German middle- and low-level officers in just half an hour?

Originally, Marlowe was at least a comfort to this battle report. He had never seen such sharpshooters, but they were often quickly sent to God's arms by bullets and shells that had no eyes on the battlefield.

Marlow, who didn't care much at first, received repeated battle reports, and there were constant news of the enemy's middle and lower-level commanders being sniped in the war zone.

Marlow, who was unbelievable, took the risk and ran to the edge of the position in person and looked at it with a telescope. He found that the enemy's advance formation was indeed much looser.

At this moment, Marlow thought a lot, and countless counterattack plans instantly took shape in his mind.

The demise of grassroots officers represents the paralysis of the command system. A group of soldiers without command are like houses without beams. They seem solid, but in fact they can be knocked down.

The ecstatic Major General Marlow immediately summoned all the staff and made strategic adjustments again and again.
