Chapter VII Martial Arts, Taoism

Chapter 7: Martial Sutra, Taoist Sutra (This chapter is free)

"It turns out that these foxes come to invite me to teach, and teaching is secondary. The most important thing is to classify books. In the future, it is convenient to read. I didn't expect that this time I came to Xishan to guard my mother's grave and study for peace, but I encountered such a thing. The woman of the Yuan Concubine actually took out the red gold coins in the palace. What is the relationship with the fox? This matter is confusing, and I don't know whether it is a blessing or a disaster."

Classifying books is a big job.

Many wealthy families collect thousands of books, so they need to ask senior scholars to classify them.

Although Hong Yi read too many notes on fox monsters, most of them were passionate fox girls, talented men and beautiful women. However, when he encountered such a thing, he felt that these foxes were not just reading books, but practicing.

The not simple idea comes directly from the red gold coins in the Yuanfei Palace.

However, these are all clueless speculations. The most important thing at the moment is reading. So many books really make Hong Yi, who has borrowed and copied books and read them again.

"Sir, have a good rest. If you have nothing to do these days, you can live in the valley. All the tea and food supply will be served by the old man." Mr. Tu saw Hong Yi looking through the book one by one, and nodded with satisfaction.

"Then I will start sorting out books tonight." Hong Yi said.

"Okay, Xiaosang, Xiaofei, Xiaoshu, let's make midnight snacks for the gentleman."

"Jiji, Jiji." A few fox's cheerful cry came from outside.

"I want to go to the homework of meditation to rest assured. If you want something, just give me a direct command. Although the children outside can't speak yet, they can understand the language."

After Mr. Tu gave a piece of advice, he walked out staggeringly.

Hong Yi's attention was all focused on the books in the stone room. As soon as Old Tu left, he immediately walked around the room, patrolling the books he was interested in.

"The books in this stone chamber are really complete, especially those about martial arts and boxing, as well as Taoist books for practice."

About half an hour later, Hong Yi walked around the entire stone chamber briefly and found that a large part of the collection of books in this stone chamber was martial arts and boxing, while the rest were Taoist books that were practiced, which was really vast.

"Huh? There are actually two big books, "The Martial Classic" and "The Taoist Classic". I have been interested in these two big books for a long time and have wanted to read them for a long time, but I have never found them and cannot borrow them."

Hong Yi was flipping through the bookshelves, suddenly, he saw two large books placed in the center, one is the "Martial Classic" and the other is the "Tao Classic".

There are a large number of books, each with dozens of volumes thick.

After seeing this, Hong Yi rushed forward as if he had found a treasure. He had been thinking about these two big books for a long time.

These two books were compiled during the founding of the Daqian Dynasty.

"Martial Classic" is a book compiled by Luo Tianxia Martial Arts.

The Taoist Sutra is a book of cultivation compiled by collecting Taoist books in the world.

Hong Yi has read many notes of scholars and has described in detail the situation when these two books were compiled: the Daqian Dynasty collected books from all over the world and filled the entire country's library. At the same time, there were thousands of people who compiled books, including major martial arts masters, Taoism, Zhengyidao, Fangxiandao, and some leaders of Buddhism participated.

Unfortunately, after these two books were compiled, the Dagan Dynasty immediately prohibited the engraving of printing. At the same time, it collected the printed books from the people and burned them in one fell swoop. Anyone who collected books was found was seriously guilty.

Later, the Dagan Dynasty used the slogan of "correcting people's hearts and abandoning evil sayings" to collect books from folk temples and overhaul the classics. However, it no longer practiced books such as "Martial Classics" and "Tao Classics", but all of them were slogans such as benevolence, righteousness, rituals, and laws, and great righteousness and loyalty.

The Taoist books and martial arts and boxing books collected by the people were burned to pieces.

Moreover, the Dagan Dynasty issued another order to strictly prohibit the people from practicing boxing and sticks and strictly control the temples and temples in the world. Twenty years ago, after the army wiped out the Dachan Temple, the Dagan Dynasty's control of civil force reached a prosperous period.

However, although the Dagan Dynasty prohibited private practice of boxing and sticks, it encouraged the nobles of the palace and royal families to practice martial arts and cavalry. At the same time, a "martial arts lecture hall" was opened in the army.

There are strict classifications of martial arts in the "Martial Arts Hall", which is even more stringent than the imperial examination. It is a way to promote martial artists.

Hong Yi read this series of methods slightly in some reading notes, but he was not clear about the specific matters of the "martial arts lecture hall" in the army.

"The literati and officials suppress military officers, but secretly train military officers to preserve national military force, collect books from all over the world, revise classics, control force in their own hands, prohibit civilian force, and develop official force. Such a method is really a turbulent one."

Hong Yi looked at the two books and felt a lot of emotion.

These two works are not so easy to see. The Dagan Dynasty had laws, which were copied, engraved and printed by the Martial Classics, and Taoist Classics. At the least, the whole family was exiled to the army for three thousand miles, and at the worst, the head was lost.

Hong Yi has been interested in these two books for a long time, but with his identity, it is impossible to see them.

If he collected these two books and was immediately caught by Mrs. Zhao in the Marquis' Mansion, he would be in trouble.

"Scholars cannot be without the power to tie up a chicken. Since there is a martial arts scripture here, I have to read it carefully and find one or two ways of self-cultivation."

With this thought, Hong Yi opened the "Martial Classic".

The Martial Arts Sutra begins with: Martial Arts is ultimately about strengthening the body and transcending life and death, and is by no means killing and showing off. The world is like a sea of suffering, and the body is like a raft crossing the sea of suffering. If the body is strong, it can carry people directly to the other side of the sea of suffering.

"Well? Martial arts are to transcend life and death. What is that magical art for?"

Hong Yi thought to himself, and opened the Taoist scriptures again.

The beginning of the Taoist Sutra also says: The world is like a sea of suffering, and the body of a human being is like a raft crossing the sea. However, the sea of suffering is boundless, and the raft will eventually rot. Only when the soul is strong can you abandon the boat and raft and use your own strength to swim to the other side of the sea of suffering.

"So that's the case. Two different principles of cultivation. They all make sense."

Hong Yi is a scholar, so he naturally can easily understand what the words in the book mean.

After reading the beginning of martial arts and Taoist scriptures, he finally had a clear understanding of the two methods of practicing martial arts and immortal arts.

The ultimate goal of both is to transcend life and death.

The world is a vast ocean.

When a person lives in the world, he is like a ship crossing the sea, and his soul and soul are the people inside the ship.

Martial arts emphasizes the cultivation of the body. The body is strong and can carry people to safely survive the sea of suffering.

The immortal art emphasizes that the sea of suffering is boundless, and the body of a ship will eventually decay. It is better to directly cultivate the soul, just like people proficient in water. In this way, even if the ship is destroyed, people will not drown.

After reading it again, Hong Yi compared the two and found that the practice of martial arts is divided into seven levels: flesh training, tendon training, membrane training, bone training, organ training, marrow training, and blood exchange.

In the Martial Classic, these seven levels are described in detail.

Practice meat: As the basis of martial arts, exercise the whole body to make the meat firm and full, with agile response, and can resist two or three people besieged. The "martial arts lecture hall" in the army of the Dagan Dynasty also called this level "martial scholar".

Practice tendons: The tendons of the whole body are stretched and stretched, with fierce explosive power, and agile body. They can compete with six or seven people. Such people are called "martial masters" in the army.

The membrane training: The whole body's membrane is strong and withstands the blow. With one force, the human skin is as tough as cowhides. It can be surrounded by more than ten people and can be defeated. This is called "Samurai".

Bones training: The whole body has hard bones, strong penetration, more agile body, stronger resistance to hitting, and can compete with dozens of people. Such people are called "martial artsman".

Practice the internal organs: Through breathing and breathing, make the internal organs strong, breathing continuously and profoundly, with long physical strength, and almost capable of competing with hundreds of people. Walking as fast as a galloping horse, jumping as agile as a bird, and being called "innate martial artist".

Practice: The practice of boxing and martial arts has penetrated into the bone marrow. Such people are called Grandmasters.

Blood Transformation: After the bone marrow is strong, after practicing, the blood in the whole body is completely renewed. It is called practicing marrow like frost, practicing blood mercury plasma, reincarnation, cutting hair and washing marrow. Such people can compete with hundreds of people and become saints in martial arts.

"Martial students, martial artists, warriors, martial artists, innate masters, martial saints! There is a very detailed division. I wonder if it is the same as the division of the imperial examination. Student scholars, scholars, and Jinshi? The Dagan Dynasty built a country with martial arts and put in such great effort. It is something that scholars don't know. Even the enemy is estimated. It seems that they have been strictly practiced in the army. However, even the saints in the martial arts still cannot transcend life and death, and it seems that they have a feeling of not being satisfied." Hong Yi was still satisfied with his feelings. At the same time, he felt inexplicably afraid.

It is a fear that the Dagan Dynasty controlled human force to a precise level.

Such a powerful force control system.

A way to advancement that is even more rigorous than the imperial examination.

However, Hong Yi knew that the ten and hundreds of enemies inside were not ordinary people, but trained soldiers. After reading the beginning of the "Martial Classic", Hong Yi finally understood how strict the Dagan Dynasty controlled the force and how much effort it took!

"Hmm?" Hong Yi read it and suddenly realized that there were annotations in the fonts of the main text of the Wu Jing. It was obviously added by the people who read it themselves.

"If you don't know the secret of martial arts, you will not be able to become a saint in your body, nor will you understand the mystery of the physical body. The acupoints of a person's body are like the stars in the sky, and the gods in the earth live in it. If someone can practice the stars in the sky and echo the stars in the sky, then his every move will be infinite, and he will capture the dragon and throw an elephant, like the Taoist Yang God's fusion and transcendence, reaching the realm of human and immortality. Zen Master Yinyue wrote in the Mid-Autumn Festival in the thirty years of the founding of the Kingdom of Dagan Dynasty."

Obviously, this passage is obviously explained by a monk named Zen Master Yin Yue from the Da Chan Temple.

The meaning of this passage is not profound. It means that the human body has many acupoints in addition to flesh, tendons, membranes, bones, internal organs, marrow, and blood. It is like the stars in the sky, where the gods live. After practicing these acupoints, they can make infinite power. The real immortal in the body is a human immortal!

"Human Immortal!"

"The highest level of martial arts is human and immortal?"

Hong Yi looked at this annotation and thought to himself: "My father, Wu Wenhou, had a nine-stone attack and shot continuously when he was young. I wonder what kind of realm it was?"

"It seems that I am going to practice martial arts. A scholar without the power of a chicken is not a good situation. Although we are a civil servant in the court, if we want to be truly awarded a title, we have to rely on military achievements. If I learn martial arts, pass the Jinshi exam, and go to the army, my status will be higher. If I make military achievements and get a title, then my mother's title will not only be a wife, but a title... The status is far higher than that of Mrs. Zhao..."

After Hong Yi read the beginning of the Martial Arts Sutra, he remembered practicing martial arts again.

In fact, Hong Yi didn’t want to practice martial arts, but he really didn’t have that condition and couldn’t afford to hire a martial arts teacher, nor did he have the money to buy a bow and horse to practice riding and shooting.

Fortunately, the imperial examination has been cancelled, otherwise he would have had no chance to make a comeback if he had spent his whole life.

However, he knew that if he practiced martial arts well, passed the Jinshi exam, and had both civil and military skills, he would have a high status after entering the military system of the Dagan Dynasty. If he made military achievements, he would be awarded the title. If he was lucky, his mother's title would be named "Jun" by the court.

The status of "Fengjun" is much higher than that of "Madam". It is the highest title given to the honor of wealthy families by the imperial court.

In Wu Wenhou Mansion, only the dead old lady Hong and Hong Xuanji's mother are "Ci'an Jun".

"You must win the highest title for your mother. However, martial arts practice is not a matter of overnight. You don't have to hurry up and take a look at the cultivation of immortal arts and souls. I don't know what the difference is?"

Hong Yi opened the Taoist scripture again.

Sure enough, just like what the old fox said, the cultivation in the Taoist scriptures is divided into ten levels, namely, calming the spirit, out of the shell, night travel, day travel, driving things, showing the body, possessing the body, taking over the thunder tribulation, and yang god.
