Chapter 1065(1/2)

When the Ming army came to Uralsk, the first thing they did was to build gun towers.

Although it is winter, this blockhouse is an all-steel structure. There is no need to pour reinforced concrete at all. Many triangular steel materials are fixed together with screws.

Then a huge hemispherical steel pot was turned upside down on top!

The people of the Ming Dynasty seem to have a tradition of doing experiments. They started testing the gun towers just after they were repaired.

A hundred meters away, rifle bullets scratched the surface. Mortar shells hit directly, leaving only a bullet mark on the surface.

At most, the paint on the outside is blackened by gunpowder smoke.

Those strange machines began to dig trenches up to 20 meters wide outside Uralsk.

The excavated soil was still piled to one side. Soon, the soil on one side of the trench was piled up to a height of more than ten meters. The other side was still flat.

Within two days, the excavated soil was frozen hard by the cold wind, forming a city wall around Uralsk.

Numerous triangular spikes and mines were also laid in the trench. Tumenov did not believe that anyone could climb over this trench alive.

In winter, a 60-kilometer-long circular trench needs to be dug. If you don't know how much manpower it will take in normal times.

But those machines from the Ming Dynasty were incredibly efficient.

Especially the kind of machine with a long mechanical arm, which can be said to be very handy at digging trenches.

In just a few days, Uralsk has transformed from a windy wilderness town into a solid fortress.

This speed surprised Tumenov.

Those Chechen rangers who always came out to harass us in the middle of the night had no choice now.

They were always shot by the sentries in the watchtowers beside the trenches. Those sentries had no guns at all, but double 25 rapid-fire cannons.

This thing has a much farther range than the gunners' rifles.

There is also a special group of soldiers in the Ming army. These people wear yellow, green and black clothes.

Wearing this cotton coat while hiding in the jungle makes it easy to blend in with the surrounding environment.

The rifles in their hands have a monocular telescope on them. These people can easily hit a cantaloupe at a distance of four hundred meters.

You know, the human head is the size of a cantaloupe.

Viewed from 400 meters away, the small one looks like a match head.

It is said that these people have the ability to shoot people from a distance of 600 meters, but the Ming people did not show it, and Tumenov did not believe it.

Six hundred meters, just kidding. Looking at it from six hundred meters away, there is not much difference between a person and a match.

This is the ideal attack range for mortars, not rifles.

The Chechen rovers were harassing and soon stopped.

Soon, the Ming army began to move out again.

Those strange-looking machines began to enter the mountains.

There were often loud rumblings in the mountains, and the road that blocked the passage of the army was forcibly widened.

The hills and large rocks blocking the way were all blown up by engineers.

The bulldozer easily pushed the gravel and debris to the roadside, and the big tree that one person could hug was dragged by five tractors.

The arm-thick stainless steel chain collapsed straight!

In Tumenov's horrified eyes, the big tree was forcibly pulled out of the ground.

Tumenov never thought that such a thick tree would be plowed up directly.

Occasionally, cold guns were fired from the woods, but the people hiding in the construction machinery were not injured.

Tumenov heard the term bulletproof glass for the first time!

Can brittle glass be bulletproof?

Whenever gunshots are fired, a large number of hounds will be released.

Before long, horrifying screams will be heard in the forest.

A few hounds were always lost in the process, but the Chechen gunmen suffered even greater losses.

No matter how strong you are in the woods, you can never outrun a hound.

Tumenov saw with his own eyes that more than a dozen hounds bit a man. The Mongolians looked at the man screaming and roaring on the ground, laughing wildly on the side.

In the end, the man was beaten to death by the hounds.

The Mongols stripped him of his cotton clothes and threw him to the ferocious hounds.

Within an hour or so, it was almost as if this person had never existed in this world.

In addition to some blood on the ground, there was also the tattered cotton coat.

Soon, something more powerful was used.

An eagle with wings spread over one meter was placed in the sky. The Mongolians could tell from the way the eagle circled which forest there was someone in it.

The short Mongolian horses seem to be underdeveloped compared with the tall Chechen horses.

However, these horses have amazing endurance. Moreover, they are also very suitable for walking in the mountains and forests.

The Mongolian soldiers were like this, riding horses, carrying eagles, and groups of hounds. They were constantly cleaning out the gunmen in the forest!

There are more and more Chechen heads hanging on the trees, more than the heads of Russian soldiers hanging on the trees by the Chechens.

Sun Zhijie's steady and step-by-step strategy left the Chechens and Moshe Dayan at a loss.

No matter how powerful his Nordic hunter group is, it seems they can't compare to the Mongols.

Even if you hide in a tree, you will be shot down like a bird by those elusive Ming gunmen.

Simon Haye was hiding in the cave, bleeding from a wound on his face.

Today he took the risk to sneak attack the road construction team, and he saw with his own eyes a bullet hit the glass of the machine.

But what shocked him was that the bullet was deflected. The person inside the machine was not harmed at all.

Then, he was tracked by a pack of hunting dogs.

The wound on the face is the souvenir left by the hunting dog.

Fortunately, he encountered an unfrozen mountain stream, and Simon Haye waded across the mountain stream. The hounds could not smell the scent and could only stand on the shore and bark non-stop.

I rummaged through and found my surname, Li, and there were spare cotton pants inside.

When the water first hit, his cotton pants were soaked through. He was so cold that he almost lost feeling in his legs. He knew that if he continued like this, he would never be able to leave the forest.

After changing into cotton pants, Simon Haye felt much warmer.

Seeing that it was getting dark outside, he lit a fire in the innermost part of the cave.

I boiled some hot water in a small iron kettle, grilled the remaining dried meat, and ate it with the hot water.

He knew he had to eat more, otherwise it would be difficult to regain his strength.

Racing with the hounds during the day, he had almost exerted all his energy to nurse.

So tired!

It’s so tiring!

The bonfire made the inside of the cave very warm and smoky, and Simon Heyer, who had been tired for a day, felt extremely sleepy. With a lit cigarette between his fingers, he fell asleep leaning against a stone.

He didn't know how long he had been sleeping, but the severe pain in his hand made Simon Haye wake up instantly.

The cigarette had burned down to butts, and as he rubbed his numb face, Simon Haye did not dare to close his eyes again.

He was afraid that if he closed his eyes, he would fall asleep again.

When fighting the Russians, you can fight at night and sleep during the day.

There is no such good thing with the people of Ming Dynasty. The people of Ming Dynasty formed countless search teams!

There are eagles in the sky, hounds on the ground, and those ghostly Ming Dynasty gunmen!

Just three days ago, Simon Haye witnessed his partner Pervas being shot in the head.

He saw the man who shot the gun and wanted to avenge him.

But experience told him that that person was a full five hundred meters away from him.

Five hundred meters away, he couldn't believe it. Someone could hit another person's head with a gun accurately from five hundred meters away.

His best result is only 400 meters, which is already his limit.

The number of partners is decreasing rapidly. Originally, there were fifteen people in his team.

But every time the number of people returning to the cave to rest was decreasing, he was the only one back today.

Simon Heyer decided that he could not stay any longer and returned to Grozny as soon as possible. After receiving the reward, he hurried home.

As a hunter, he smelled the strong smell of death.

The people of Ming Dynasty are difficult to deal with, too difficult!
