Chapter 4 Strange Dreams

It was not a hard mud floor, but a wooden board, and it seemed that it was not on the ground.

Zhou Fan confirmed this fact. He maintained relative calm. He did not walk rashly in the thick fog, but looked up at the sky.

The starry sky can guide people.

However, Zhou Fan's pupils suddenly contracted, and a huge blood-colored sphere hung high in the gray sky, with dense lead-ash pits on the surface.

The blood-colored sphere that occupied half of the sky's vision seemed to fall down at any time, giving Zhou Fan a sense of suffocation.

Zhou Fan took a deep breath, staring at the blood-colored sphere until his neck became sore and there was no sign of the blood ball falling down. He breathed a sigh of relief.

If this sphere really fell like a comet, he would have nowhere to escape.

Suddenly.

The gray mist that had been floating was heading towards the sky, and the complex gray mist swept into the shape of a tornado and was sucked into the blood cell.

Zhou Fan could only look at it in surprise. Everything around him was too strange and he couldn't do anything.

The gray fog is inhaled for a short time. In just a few seconds, the blood-colored sphere stops absorbing the gray fog.

There was still gray mist floating around, but it had become thinner. Zhou Fan's vision suddenly became clear. He looked around and found that he was standing... on a boat?

He wasn't sure if this was a ship, because the large wooden boat had nothing.

There is no canvas, no masts, no control room for ships, only a vast and empty deck with a half-person-high wooden railing on the edge of the deck.

Apart from that, there was nothing empty, and looking further away, he saw gray water.

The wooden boat is surrounded by gray water, calm and waveless gray water, like gray water like gray fog.

In order to see more clearly, Zhou Fan came to the edge of the railing and looked down.

The gray was as smooth as a mirror, and a burst of sniffle crawled along Zhou Fan's spine, sweat oozing out from his back like slurry, wetting his single clothes.

Below is a mirror-like gray river, a white skull is reflected.

Zhou Fan straightened his waist from the bed, and he was sweating all over and found that he had woken up.

But his face was still scaryly pale and his pupils were shrinking.

Zhou Fan patted his face and felt the flesh on his face, so he began to slowly calm down his breath, but his face turned a little blue.

It’s not that he has never seen the dead skull, but he feels frightened because the skull he saw in the last time was his own head.

He looked at the familiar room arrangement outside the curtain and shook his head. This was just a more real dream.

But if he thinks about something on a day and dreams at night, why did he have such a dream?

He hasn't seen anything about the ship lately.

A light green light leaked in from the roof skylight, and there was the sound of roosters crowing outside.

It's already dawn.

After a while, footsteps sounded outside the room.

It was Zhou Fan's mother Gui Feng who walked in and she called out, "Afan, get up soon. We must go to the hair tie ceremony in the village as soon as possible."

Zhou Fan responded and quickly got off the bed.

Later, under Guifeng's arrangement, Zhou Fan went to wash up, finished breakfast, put on the new clothes that Guifeng gave him.

It is said to be a new dress, but in fact it is the same as the one he wore before. This new dress also has several inconspicuous patches.

After Zhou Fan put on his new clothes, Zhou Yimu and Guifeng were obviously ready.

Zhou Yimu looked at Zhou Fan who was already dressed up and nodded slightly and said, "Let's go."

The three of them went out together and closed the door casually, but it was not locked.

After all, my family was poor and there was nothing valuable that could be stolen by people.

The morning breeze was cool, and this was the first time Zhou Fan had left the mud house of the Zhou family when he came over. While following Zhou Yimu and his wife, he also looked at everything around him curiously, with a simple and primitive rough environment.

The people in the village were also moving in the same direction, obviously they were all here to attend the hair binding ceremony.

On the way, there were villagers who greeted Zhou Yimu and the other three, and Zhou Yimu usually responded.

Occasionally, a young man about the same age as Zhou Fan called Zhou Fan, and Zhou Fan could only respond with a smile. He had no idea what the names of these people were, and he could not speak much.

After walking for a long time, Zhou Fan and the others stopped.

This is a wide flat land in the center of the village. There are no common mud houses around it, only a round altar made of greystone.

The round altar is not big, only thirty or forty square meters. There are already dense crowds of people gathered below the round altar, all of whom are from Sanqiu Village.

Zhou Fan didn't know how big Sanqiu Village was, but there were about a thousand people here. Zhou Fan was just standing aside. Zhou Yimu and Guifeng were talking to people, all about trivial matters.

Zhou Fan did not listen carefully, and suddenly someone patted his shoulder.

Zhou Fan turned his head and looked. Standing in front of him was a skinny boy. When he smiled, his face became prominent.

Zhou Fan uh, this was the first time he saw someone so thin.

The young man smiled and said, "Afan, you're fine. I've always wanted to see you, but Aunt Guifeng didn't let me go."

Gui Feng turned around and looked at Zhou Fan with a confused face, knowing that her son had forgotten the boy. She hurriedly said, "Afan, this is Zhang Quanfu. You usually call him a thin monkey. Have you forgotten?"

Zhou Fan said helplessly: "Skinny Monkey, I'm sorry, I forgot you."

The thin monkey was stunned for a moment and said, "Aunt Guifeng, why did Afan forget me?"

Gui Feng shook his head and said, "He hurt his head and I don't remember many things from the past."

The thin monkey suddenly realized, and he touched the back of his head and smiled, "So that's the case, that's fine. I'll just tell Afan slowly. Let's play on the side, it's not interesting for you to follow your parents."

Gui Feng waved his hand and said, "Go, but today you both have to wear hair. You can't get too far away. You'll have to come back later."

Before Zhou Fan could agree, he was dragged by the thin monkey and quickly left Zhou Yimu and the others.

The thin monkey pulled Zhou Fan to a remote corner before letting go. He turned around and looked at Zhou Fan and said, "Afan, are you really amnesia? You are afraid that Uncle Yimu will scold you, so you pretend to forget everything?"

Zhou Fan shook his head and said, "Skinny Monkey, I really forgot everything. I don't even remember what our country is called?"
