Chapter 13 Fog

The monster in the snow-colored jade plate has a big head and a small body. Its head is like a swollen fist. It has a pair of golden convex pupils at the front of the fist. Its tail is like a fish tail, and its body is covered with gray scales.

A fist-shaped head opened with a hole full of tight and sharp bone spurs.

The old man in gray had a look of indifference. He casually placed the fishing rod next to the table. The gray mist condensed in his right hand, turning into a sharp sharp knife.

The old man's right wrist shook slightly, and the dazzling sword light enveloped the white jade plate. After the hissing sound, the monster had been cut into hundreds of thin slices of meat.

The sharp knife was atomized and turned into a pair of chopsticks. When the old man picked up a thin slice, more than ten flavored plates suddenly appeared on the table, or the flavored plates were there all the time, but Zhou Fan couldn't see them.

The thin slices held by the chopsticks were placed in one of the flavoring dishes, dipped in the seasoning and threw them into his mouth. He narrowed his eyes and chewed slowly, and the old patterns on his face wrinkled.

What's strange is that the old man in gray didn't glance at Zhou Fan from beginning to end, and it seemed that Zhou Fan did not exist.

Zhou Fan raised his eyebrows slightly, and he walked towards the old man, but he was thinking in his heart that the old man suddenly appeared and could turn the monster into food with means he could unimaginable.

If he wants to kill him, he will definitely not be able to escape. He might as well walk over by himself to see if he can test out the origin of this old man.

The most important thing is to figure out why he appeared in this strange space and appeared on this ship.

When Zhou Fan walked towards the old man, he was still observing the old man with his own habits. He found that the old man really ignored his existence and focused his mind on the food in the porcelain plate.

The old man in gray kept picking up thin and transparent slices of chopsticks and dipped them in seasonings and ate them slowly. Even if Zhou Fan walked to his side, he didn't raise his eyes.

Zhou Fan stood aside and waited patiently. He didn't know what kind of personality this person had, so he couldn't speak first, but waited for the other party to speak first.

If the other party doesn't speak, he decides to wait until the old man finishes his meal before speaking.

It is always easier to talk to a person who eats and drinks well than to be hungry.

Different flavored dishes contain different seasonings, including soy sauce, chili, minced ginger, and radish puree...more are seasonings that Zhou Fan cannot recognize.

Sometimes the old man dips only one seasoning, sometimes dips two or three kinds and eats it. Every time the food is in his mouth, he will always squint his eyes slightly.

The old man ate slowly, but the slices of meat on the jade plate soon came to the bottom. Until only one piece was left, he looked up at Zhou Fan and asked, "Do you want to eat it?"

Only then did Zhou Fan realize that the old man's pupils were dark gray, and his gray eyes were like whirlpools of the ocean, bottomless.

Zhou Fan shook his head. He was cautious about this strange creature meat slice. The old man was mysteriously able to eat this thing, but it did not mean that Zhou Fan could eat it. If it was highly toxic, it would be over.

When the old man saw that Zhou Fan didn't want to eat it, he did not persuade him. Instead, he picked up the last piece of meat and dipped it in minced ginger and spicy oil and ate it.

After the meal, the old man breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Because you didn't disturb me from eating, you can ask me some questions."

"I don't know what the old man calls me?" Zhou Fan asked politely.

The old man waved his hand and the porcelain plate on the square table turned into gray mist and dissipated. He slowly said: "I didn't have a name at first. You can call me Hui, you can call me Wu, or you can call me Xue, or you can call me Xue, or you can even give me a name."

No name?

Why doesn't there be a name?

Is gray? fog? a word that originates from gray fog?

What about blood? Does the blood cells from the top of the head?

Several thoughts flashed through Zhou Fan's mind, and he continued with a hint of respect on his face: "It turns out to be Mr. Wu, Mr. Wu, where is this place?"

"Just just ask me to make fog, don't add any old gentleman." The fog sat down. When he sat down, a few wisps of gray fog gathered, and there was an extra chair. He was sitting on the chair. "As for where is this?"

The fog paused for a moment before shook his head and said, "I don't know either. It shouldn't have a name, but if you feel uncomfortable without a name, you can call it the Gray River Space."

"Gray River Space..." Zhou Fan muttered in his heart. He kept looking at the old man who he called "fog". Unfortunately, from beginning to end, the old man's face was always indifferent, and it was difficult to see more.

"Mist, why am I here?" Zhou Fan asked one of his most concerned questions, and he followed his opinions and changed his name.

Zhou Fan understood that the other party said this, so it would be more appropriate to call him directly.

"How do I know?" Wu sneered, "You guys are not here, I did not make it."

"We?" Zhou Fan keenly captured the keywords in Wu Mou's mouth, which shows that he was definitely not the first person to appear on this ship.

"Okay, you've asked enough." The fog showed a hint of impatientness, "You are the one who boarded the ship this time, so I have something to say to you."

Zhou Fan didn't say anything, just listened silently.

"You can only do three things on this boat, the first thing is fishing." The fog waved casually, and the thin gray fog rolled, and seven fishing rods suddenly appeared on the square wooden table.

The seven fishing rods have different colors, namely ink black, light purple, emerald green, fiery red, golden, silver white, and dark gray.

"The second thing is to jump ship, and the third thing is to stay and do nothing. When the time comes, you can return to your own world." Wu looked at Zhou Fan and asked, "Do you want to fish now?"

"Why do you want me to fish?" Zhou Fan frowned and asked.

"It's not that I want you to fish, but that you only want to fish." A strange smile appeared on Wu's face, "You choose whether to fish or not. Since you are on this boat, I won't force you to do anything."

Zhou Fan asked: "What happens if you fish?"

"It's always balanced here. If you fish, you will get something and lose something." Wu said slowly. "But the first time fishing is a free gift. Well, it can't be said to be free. After all, you have already paid the price in advance if you can come in."

"What will you get? What will you lose?" Zhou Fan's heart jumped suddenly and asked, "What are I losing when I come in here?"

"These three questions are too complicated and I don't want to answer them. If you want to know, just think of a solution yourself." Wu shook her head and said.

"Did I lose my lifespan when I come in here?" Zhou Fan suddenly asked, how many years he has left for life, or it may be related to this place.

Wu looked at Zhou Fan with a little surprised and said with a smile: "You guessed that it is lifespan. You have paid a lot of lifespan to board this ship!"

"It's because of this!" Zhou Fan said coldly, "There is no way to return my lifespan, and it doesn't matter if I get off the boat."

A genius wanted to board this strange ship. If he could get his life back, Zhou Fan would definitely not be willing to stay here.

Wu said calmly, "You can't get your lifespan back, at least I can't do it for you. If you want to get off the boat, you can only jump. This is the second thing I said."

"What will happen to me if I jumped into the ship?" Zhou Fan looked at the guardrail beside the ship and asked.

"I don't know." Wu smiled at the fog floating on the river. "There are several people who jumped the ship, but I haven't seen them again since then, so I don't know what will happen?"

have no idea……

Zhou Fan's face changed slightly. He remembered the dark shadows swimming at the bottom of the river that were as smooth as a realm. Jumping ship was definitely not a good choice!

Zhou Fan wanted to ask again, but Wu suddenly said, "Your time is up, so see you next time, but don't die. Once you die, you will never be able to meet again."
