Chapter 697 Blue No. 3 Plan

With a secret agreement signed with the Russian Empress Oliga, the German Defense Minister, Marshal of the Hesman Empire flew back to Berlin from Tallinn.

"French Breguet aircraft?" After getting off the Folk 36 passenger plane, Hessman soon noticed that there were more than a dozen twin-engine aircraft arranged on an apron at the airport that looked ugly and a bit like catfish. These aircraft were painted with French Air Force logos.

"Yes, that's the aircraft of the 18th attack aircraft group of the French Air Force." Marshal Kesseling, who greeted Hessman at the airport, went up and hugged Hessman, then kissed Chloe's fingertips, and then introduced the French aircraft that had just flew to Germany as a treasure. "They are all the latest model of Breguet br.703, equipped with the Land God 14p50 air-cooled engine, with a maximum output of 1,200 horsepower."

"1200 horses? It's almost up to BM's small 14-cylinder engine." Hessman praised, "It seems that the French have brought out the real good things."

Kesseling nodded: "The performance of these aircraft is similar to our HS-129, and it is even better. It strengthens armor on the basis of the Breguet 690 series, and also installs a Frenchman's own 47mm anti-tank gun on the belly of the aircraft, and has a lot of ammunitions. It is a very excellent attack aircraft, which can fill the number gap of HS-129."

The French suffered enough from German tanks in the Western Front Battle in 1940, so they were tempted to develop anti-tank attack aircraft. Moreover, the French also had a very good attack aircraft, the Breguet 690 series. This aircraft was developed in the late 1930s and had not been put into production in large quantities at the Western Front Battle. Therefore, it is a very new aircraft and there is a lot of room for improvement.

Around the time before and after France officially declared war on Britain, the French late anti-tank attack aircraft Bregaibr.703 was finally finalized and put into production. By July 1942, more than 500 aircraft had been produced, and three attack aircraft groups (equivalent to aviation regiments) had been formed, with 360 commonly used aircraft.

These aircraft were originally used to deal with Germany when necessary, but after Hessman showed his trump card (atomic bomb, ballistic missile and sarin gas), Betan and Dallang also wanted to drive Germany's murderous minister of national defense, and there were many secret weapons that could not be provoked. So they handed over the three attack aircraft groups to the Germans.

This made the Chief of Staff Kesselin and Air Force Commander-in-Chief Val T. Wiffle (he did not fall to death in this time and space because Hessman prohibited senior generals from flying the plane himself) very happy. They were worried that there were not enough attack aircraft available. Therefore, they immediately sent all three attack aircraft groups to the 6th Air Force, preparing to exert their power in the "Blue Plan" counterattack that was about to begin. The Brege aircraft parked at Tsoson Airport are now preparing to transfer to the Courland Peninsula.

"The French artillery divisions also came very quickly, and they should be able to be in place before the large counterattack began." Kesseling asked again, "How about the Russian Empress, Marshal of the Empire? Are you still obedient?"

"Of course, she is obedient. Now her wings are not strong yet, and she can only rely on our support." Hessman smiled, "It's a pity that her appeal in Russia is limited and it is impossible to replace the Bolsheviks at all."

"It doesn't have to be completely replaced," Kesselin suggested thinking for a while, saying, "If the Soviet Union could be divided into two, it would be ideal."

"Divine in two?" Hessman smiled, "Of course it's the best. A little Russia fights against a big Soviet Union... Then Oliga can only be obedient. But this matter is easy to say and difficult to do. If we have to fight for a long time, it is not enough to rely on our support alone. The Queen has few supporters in Russia, at least the people of Leningrad do not support Oliga."

He paused and said, "It's better to take a step at this. By the way, Oliga wants to recruit soldiers at the Sud-German friendship concentration camp. Can you arrange it?"

"No problem," Keselin laughed, "Now there are more and more people in the Sudian-German friendship camp. If Queen Oliga can take some away, it will save us a lot of money."

...

Hessman and Chloe separated at the airport. Chloe returned to Toxson's manor, while Hessman and Kesselin went to Berlin to meet Hitler.

The Warsaw Battle has been in more than fifty days, and the Soviet army has been exhausted, and the troops have been increased several times. Although the German command did not know how many Soviet troops there were on the front line of Minsk and Leningrad, I always imagined that there should be relatively empty there.

In addition, it is almost August now. Usually, in October, the muddy season is possible in Belarus and Ukraine, so it is very difficult to march and fight.

So it's time to start implementing a "Blue Counterattack"!

"The leader, the General Staff recommends that a counterattack operation code-named ‘Blue No. 3’ be launched between August 1 and 10."

In the office of the Prime Minister's Office, Marshal Kesselin placed a copy of the "Blue 3" combat plan in front of Prime Minister Adolf Hitler.

"Blue No. 3" is part of the "Blue Plan", and the main content is to launch a big counterattack against Leningrad, Minsk and Ukraine.

Among them, the attack on Leningrad is virtual, and the ultimate goal is to surround Leningrad.

"Leningrad must be destroyed!" Looking through the summary of the "Blue 3" plan, Hitler began to talk nonsense again. Although he is a good strategist, he always has some weird ideas on combat and tactical issues.

"Destroy with cannons and planes!" Hitler waved his fists hard, looking very excited and didn't know where those comrades with Leningrad's household registration had provoked him?

"Okay," Hessmann didn't talk nonsense to him and agreed immediately, "We will arrange for French cannons and the latest me-264 heavy bomber to complete this mission."

The me-264 heavy bomber is a long-range strategic bomber jointly developed by Messer Schmidt and Folk. It was officially launched after the Western Front Battle in 1940. At the same time, the Juncker's ju290/ju390 project, the Folk Wolf's Ta-400 project and the Henkel's he-274/he-277 project were also carried out.

The Luftwaffe, controlled by Hessmann and Kesseling, did not put too high demands on the "ultra-long-range heavy bomber" project.

The basic performance indicators only mention the combat radius: no less than 4,000 kilometers (Hersman plans to start bombing the United States after capturing the Azores, so the combat radius of 4,000 kilometers is enough); practical ceiling: no less than 12,000 meters; maximum speed: more than 550 kilometers; maximum ammunition load: more than 5 tons (at least one atomic bomb can be carried, and 2 V1 missiles can be mounted under the wings); self-defense firepower: at least 12 13mm machine guns.

Among these long-range aircraft under development, the me-264 has made the fastest progress, because the me-264 uses the BM-802t (turbocharged) series high-power engine jointly developed by Folk and BM for many years.

The bm-802 series is a large displacement air-cooled 18 cylinders, and the turbocharger has been fully matured after years of research. Most importantly, the rare metals used to produce engines and turbochargers are now sufficiently supplied, and high octane aerospace gasoline has become very easy to produce because of the large oil fields in the Middle East.

You can use non-ferrous metals and high-end gasoline with big hands. Of course, it is not too difficult to create a long-range aircraft like the me-264. Therefore, the project established in 1940 was completed in May 1942 and started production at the B-K aviation consortium factory in Boro in June. So far, a squadron has already served in the Luftwaffe Air Force.

However, using 12 or 24 me-264 to bomb Leningrad is also nonsense. It is difficult to bait big cities like Leningrad unless they use nuclear bombs.

As for bombardment with French artillery divisions, it is even more impossible. There are too many places where French artillery bombardment are needed, and Leningrad is not the turn.

So Hessman is now liing Hitler to avoid listening to his nagging... Anyway, Hitler has no power to directly command the battle, and now Hessman himself has no power because the Chief of Staff gave Kesselin.

"Okay!" Hitler didn't know he had been deceived, so he nodded with satisfaction and continued to look through the summary of the "Blue No. 3" plan.

Leningrad is a virtual attack, while Minsk and Ukraine are really going to attack, but these two places are treated differently.

Minsk is not a must-win. If it is easy to win, it will be defeated. If it is not easy to win, it will be defeated. As long as it is surrounded in a short period of time, it will be considered as completing the task.

Ukraine is the key area to seize and occupy! Among them, the Black Sea coast and the Crimean Peninsula (the Crimean Peninsula does not belong to Ukraine now) are the most critical and need to be seized first. Once Ukraine along the Crimea and the Black Sea coast fall into Germany's control, the German army will be able to advance to the Caucasus region in the next step.

The Caucasus oil-producing areas currently produce more than 60% of the Soviet Union's oil, with an annual output of more than 20 million tons! If seized by Germany, the annual output of oil (including synthetic gasoline) controlled by Germany will exceed 60 million tons, and the annual output of oil controlled by the Soviet Union will be reduced to about 15 million tons.

The reduction in oil will directly reduce the amount of mechanized equipment in the Soviet Union!
