337 France's turn four

In March 1940, Germany had concentrated 136 divisions on the Western Front (including 10 armored divisions and 4 motorized divisions), more than 2,500 tanks, and more than 4,600 aircraft (including 600 transport aircraft). In addition, three armies have been formed based on the top-secret "Sick Swift Action Plan" (the official code of the "Manstein Plan"), and they are deployed in place, and a large-scale offensive to destroy France's Second Germany at any time!

On the French side, there was a precedent for the Prime Minister! The Daraday government of the left-leaning radical socialist party, which has been in power since 1938, finally fell, and was replaced by the Paul Renault government of the right-right-leaning democratic alliance.

Paul Renault, who took office, did not know that his country was facing a catastrophe because everything seemed to be safe. The "Magino" defense line seemed to be solid and reassuring. The French Army's strength was becoming stronger and stronger as more and more mobilized troops joined, and the first British expeditionary forces (a total of 10 divisions) were all in place. When Paul Renault took over the position of prime minister, the British and French coalition deployed a huge force of 105 divisions (including 9 British divisions) on the battlefield bordering Germany and Belgium alone.

And they are all new forces that have not been consumed by the war!

The French Navy was in a very good situation at this time, with one aircraft carrier (Bayan), six battleships (three Kolbet class and three Brittany class), two battlecruisers (Dunkirk class), seven heavy cruisers, twelve light cruisers and more than fifty destroyers. There are two super battleships "Richelieu" and "Jean Bar" that will be built soon. Their strength is "steadily ranked second" in Europe, "far more than" their old rivals Germany.

Only the French Air Force suffered heavy losses in the war of attrition in a few months, and its strength is now slightly weak. There are only less than 400 of the more modern ms.406 fighters (as of March 1940, the French team received a total of 1,064 ms.406s), and the more advanced D.520 that can fight against the B-109 and Folk Zero type D.520 have just been put into production, with only more than 30 equipped troops. However, the main bombers of the French Air Force, the Leo451 and the MB.210, have adopted the tactic of night attacks, so they have little loss. Currently, more than 300 of these two medium bombers are in service in the Air Force. Nearly 200 of the Brege series of attack aircraft, light bombers and heavy fighters can still be put into use.

In addition, the "hk75" fighter jets ordered by France from the United States also arrived in large quantities in February and March 1940.

In general, the current French Air Force also has a certain strength, which is enough to carry out several missions to bomb the Soviet oil-producing zone.

"Does it really need to bomb Baku, Grozny and Batumi oil-producing areas?" Paul Reno, who had just entered the Martinion House, was surprised to hear Churchill and Viscount Halifax, who were elected as prime minister, proposed the proposal to bomb the Soviet oil-producing areas.

"That would make us completely break with the Soviet Union. Will this bring greater difficulties?..." Paul Reno looked at Churchill. He knew that this short and fat man who had been the minister of the Navy during World War I would soon enter No. 10 Downing Street. If nothing unexpected happens, this world war will be carried out under the leadership of him and Churchill.

"Mr. Prime Minister, bombing is necessary because we must cut off Germany's oil supply!" Admiral Gan Molin, chief of staff of the French Ministry of Defense and commander-in-chief of the Army, obviously supported this seemingly crazy plan.

He said: "There is sufficient intelligence that since the outbreak of the war, Germany has imported about 500,000 tons of oil from the Soviet Union every month. This is three times more than they imported from Romania, which is the oil that supports Germany's huge war machine.

Most of the Soviet oil was collected from Baku, Grozny and Batumi oil production areas. It is less than 900 kilometers away from our airport in Syria, completely within the combat radius of our latest Leo451 bomber."

General Ganmolin saw that the French Prime Minister was still hesitant and added: "We and the Royal Air Force aircraft have gone deep into Baku, Grozny and Batumi to conduct reconnaissance many times. It can be confirmed that the Soviet Union's defense there is very empty, with neither radar nor high-performance aircraft. As long as we make up our minds, the air strikes will be successful! Oil production in the oil production areas of Baku, Grozny and Batumi will drop significantly, so that we may not have to launch a large-scale ground attack to win through blockades and air strikes."

The notion of not launching a large-scale ground attack is very attractive, because it means there will be no casualties that will be unbearable to the French people.

"But will we break with the Soviet Union because of this?" Renault was still a little worried. "Have you taken into account such risks?"

"Mr. Prime Minister, Stalin and the Soviet Union are always enemies of free time." said Viscount Halifax, the British Foreign Secretary, said. "Whether they will completely turn to Germany does not depend on whether they have a friendly relationship with us, but on whether they can obtain huge benefits after following Germany. The premise of obtaining benefits is to win the war! If the Soviet Union and Germany lose the oil necessary to win the war, then what reason does the Soviet Union have to stand with Germany that will definitely lose?"

Renault was still hesitating, Churchill, holding a cigar in his mouth, said in a heavy tone: "Mr. Prime Minister, if we cannot make up our minds to do this, then by 1942, it would probably not be 24 armored divisions crushing Germany, but 15 super battleships of the Soviet-German joint fleet crushing the British and French navies!"

"15 Super Battleships?" Renault gasped. Churchill said: "Each ship is larger and more powerful than you all the 'Richelius' class!"

Each ship exceeds the "Richeliu" class... and there are 15 ships! Paul Renault was silent for a long time, and finally nodded, saying, "Okay, I can approve this adventure." He glanced at Gan Molin with a firm expression and was confident that Churchill was. "I hope this decision will not ruin France!"

"No, absolutely not." Gan Molin promised.

Churchill said: "The British Empire will stand with the French Empire!"

This probably means that everyone jumped together in the fire pit. In the bombing plan known to Ganmolin and General Wei Gang, commander-in-chief of the French Army in Syria, France will dispatch 8 squadrons and 96 Leo451 bombers from Syria to attack the Soviet Union's Batumi Petrochemical City (the Petrochemical City in Georgia, the production of the Baku oil field accounts for about 70% of the total Soviet oil production, and the oil produced there mainly relies on the Batumi refineries to process).

The UK will dispatch 120 Wellington-style medium bombers of 10 squadrons and 36 Blenheim long-range fighters of 3 squadrons to take off from the airport in Iraq to bomb the Soviet Union's Baku oilfield and the Grozny oilfield (this time it was the second largest oilfield in the Soviet Union after Baku).

According to the plan, bombers from Britain and France will take off at 2 a.m. on March 30, 1940, using night cover to sneak into Soviet airspace, reach the target ground after early Sunday and carry out the first wave of bombing. After 6 and a half hours of the plane's takeoff, the bombers will return to the base to replenish fuel and bombs, start the second wave of air strikes at 10 a.m., and start the third wave of air strikes at around 6:30 p.m. (This is a night attack, and the fires at oil fields and petrochemical plants will navigate the aircraft at night).

If all 96 French leo451 bombers can complete three waves of bombing, then 403.2 tons of high-explosion bombs will land in the Soviet Union's Batumi Petrochemical City. According to the calculations of the British and French Air Force, these bombs will at least completely paralyze the largest oil processing center in the Soviet Union. The repair time will be as long as more than 12 months...

...

"Comrades, the bourgeoisie and landlord Finland rejected the good intentions of the Soviet Union, which shows that the Finnish reactionary ruling group will act as a lackey for the invasion of the Soviet Union by the British and French imperialist group. This is something that the Soviet Union and the working people of the world cannot tolerate!"

At this time, Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union's loving father, did not know that British and French imperialism would soon bomb the Soviet Union. He was currently presiding over a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Kremlin to discuss the issue of liberation of Finland.

Although the war to liberate Western Belarus and Ukraine on the right bank lasted longer than expected, the performance of the Workers and Peasants Red Army was good. The rapid clusters of the Red Army advanced very quickly on the open terrain, but the ability to attack strong fortresses and tightly fortified cities was insufficient.

But in the end, Kiev, Vinnica, Odesa and Brest were captured, more than 1 million Polish and Ukrainian reactionary troops were eliminated, and more than 400,000 prisoners were captured, most of whom would get the opportunity to transform their labor. About 100,000 officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers were imprisoned by Katin prisoners of war, about 19 kilometers west of Molensk...

Such a record would have been great if Germany had not defeated Poland in 12 days. Therefore, the father-in-law did not make things difficult for the generals on the front line to fight, and even promoted many people to be awarded medals.

Then the Soviet father leader turned his attention to Finland. As a country split from Russia after the February Revolution, the Finnish people had been struggling in dire straits for twenty years, and it was time to liberate them.

Stalin stressed and said, "So I suggest that the Workers and Peasants' Red Army take decisive measures immediately and liberate the entire Finland with force!"

"Agree! I agree! Agree!..."
