1038 Father, we have tried our best

On May 7, 1944, the Red Army General Staff in Moscow was already in extreme tension. Every officer looked panicked, as if the sky in Moscow was about to collapse. However, they did not give up, and they were guarding the phone and carrying out revolutionary work around the map. A large number of troops were going to reinforce from Moscow and Kalinin to the Volokoramsk-Mala River-Solnechnogorsk triangle. Fierce offensive and defensive operations were still being carried out in this triangle, especially on the west bank of the Mara River.

Last night, the "North Line Tank Armored Cluster" affiliated to the Soviet Kalinin Front attack on Rodshenno-Osheikino was stubbornly blocked by the Marx cluster with the German 1st Armored Division as the core and suffered heavy losses. Although the Soviet army invested a large number of JS-2 tanks, T-34/85 tanks and infantry, and launched repeated and resolute impacts. However, they were all repelled by the German e-50a tanks, Tiger H-type tanks and "cheetah" tank destroyers.

After dawn, on the battlefield of Rodshenno-Oschkino, the offensive and defensive situation of both sides suddenly changed. The "Marx Cluster" (a very revolutionary name) received support from four armored battalions from Volokoramsk in the early morning of May 7. These four battalions were four of the six armored battalions equipped with No. 4 H-type tanks in Volokoramsk in order to save fuel.

Although they only have the "battalion" sign, in fact, these German armored battalions have combat power far exceeding that of the Soviet tank brigades! Each battalion has 88 No. 4 H tanks when it is full (if equipped with e-50 and Tiger, the number of tanks is only 66). Although the four battalions dispatched from Volokoramsk are not full, on average, each battalion has more than 70 tanks that can be activated. The 4 battalions dispatched a total of 282 No. 4 H tanks, which is more than a tank army in the Soviet Union!

After receiving reinforcements from 282 No. 4 tanks, the number of tanks/assault guns that Major General Marx can operate has increased to 612. Among them, there are 80 e-50a tanks, 78 "Cheetah" tank destroyers, 110 Tiger H-type tanks, 40 "Rhino" tank destroyers, 12 "Sursuit Tank Destroyer" (equipped with the 1st Armored Grenadier Regiment), and 10 "Little Leopard" (the legendary "Loli Leopard").

In addition, over the Rodsnow-Oschönigno battlefield, during the day of May 7, French-German attack aircraft also appeared in the sky and sun-blocking the sun. The fuselage was equipped with br.720 and hs-129 guns, and 6-8 "doll" bazooka-190/g appeared in groups. Under the guidance of dozens of German defensive strongholds intertwined with the Soviet front, they repeatedly attacked Soviet targets on the ground. At the same time, the German army also launched violent artillery bombardments.

With the support of attack aircraft, fighter bombers and cannons, hundreds of tanks from the German Marx cluster launched an offensive against the Soviet army in an unprecedented fierce manner. The west bank of the Mara River was originally the place where the Soviet army launched its main offensive. Although it suffered heavy losses in the previous night battle, it could still gather a huge tank armored force cluster. As a result, more than a thousand tanks from both sides launched a decisive battle on the plain west of the Mara River!

Once the Soviet army was defeated by the German army on the plain west of the Mara River, then the counterattack that can be said to be the "last" is over. Moscow and Kalinin City will be surrounded, and the Soviet red flag will not know how many days can it take? Therefore, at this moment when it was related to the life and death of the Soviet Union, Zhukov and Pavlov seemed to have to make the last capital in his hand! But this is equivalent to moving the Moscow defense battle to the solid city defense and starting a battle.

Once the Soviet army was defeated in the "Triangle Zone", the defense power of Moscow City may be greatly weakened. So at this critical moment, everyone was waiting for Zhukov and Pavlov to make the final decision.

At this time, Zhukov was thinking hard about a map full of markers in an office full of maps. Marshal Pavlov, the first deputy National People's Committee for Defense, walked in quietly. Zhukov heard the sound at the door. He turned his head and his face was full of fatigue. Because of his excessive use of his brain power and extremely lack of sleep, his eyes looked blue. This decisive battle that determines fate is a heavy burden for a genius military strategist like Zhukov.

"Have you made a decision yet? Comrade Stalin just called again to urge him. He asked to put all his strength in, and to defeat the imperialist invading army at all costs and defend the cause of Comrade Lenin."

Zhukov smiled bitterly: "Actually, I want to suggest sending Comrade Lenin to Chelyabinsk immediately..."

Comrade Lenin's immortal remains are now under the Lenin's tomb under the Lenin's cemetery on Red Square. They are used to protect the remains from being destroyed by imperialist bombers during wartime.

However, Stalin had already made instructions before that once Moscow is likely to be besieged, Lenin's body must be transferred immediately!

Now that Zhukov raises this, Pavlov naturally won't be confused about what it means.

However, Pavlov shook his head, "No, it's not the time. Although the situation is unfavorable, we should still do our best. If we give up now, it's nothing more than a Moscow chief siege...Moscow should not become another Leningrad or Warsaw. It should become Paris, vigorous and vigorous!"

The "Paris" mentioned by Pavlov certainly refers to the Paris Commune. In his opinion, failure is not terrible, but what is terrible is the loss of faith. The soldiers in Moscow should be martyred for the faith of G-ism, so as to inspire generations of successors to future generations of G-ism.

If they are finally defeated by hunger due to long-term siege and surrender to the Russian Empress, that is a truly terrible failure!

After hearing Pavlov's words, Zhukov suddenly felt a sudden enlightenment. He had been thinking about how to save the fate of Moscow and the Soviet Union, and had never thought of fighting a vigorous battle to inspire generations of successors of G-ism.

Thinking of this, his hands re-stripped the Ruzha River on the Ruzha River south of Volokoramsk, a river that is roughly north-south west of Moscow, and a tributary of the Moscow River. Now part of the Moscow Western Front Cluster is guarding there (not the entire Ruzha River, but the middle and lower reaches) confronting the German army on the other side. The Soviet army's southern assault cluster is now deployed in the Ruzha River and the southern part of Solnichnogorsk (the city of Solnichnogorsk is currently controlled by the German army), with a front line of about 100 kilometers, confronting a German armed army (in fact, two armored grenade divisions and two paratrooper divisions, as well as some tank destroyer battalions and heavy armored battalions).

According to the original plan, the Soviet army's southern line cluster should have launched an attack with the northern line cluster last night, and the main attack direction was to fight Volokolamsk along the Ruzha River north.

However, due to the Germans' first artillery attack and the subsequent night air strikes, the attacks of the South Line cluster were weak last night. Therefore, there was no fierce tank battle along the Ruza River.

However, through a limited-scale night battle, the Soviet army found out the German troops' deployment along the Ruza River south of Volokoramsk.

The German defense there seemed to be less solid than in Rodsnow-Oscheikino. Although the attacking Soviet army was also repelled, the losses were not too great. It seemed that as long as we work harder, it would still be possible to succeed.

During the day on May 7, the German army did not launch a counterattack along the upper reaches of the Ruzha River.

Zhukov said: "We can let Katuzov's northern cluster retreat north along the Mara River, attracting the German armored cluster that is fighting fiercely with them to as far north as possible. We can create favorable conditions for the southern cluster to attack the upper reaches of the Ruzha River tonight!

Tonight, we will do our best to fight...for the Soviet Union! for the cause of gism!"

...

The whistling rockets passed by the west bank of the Mala River, and a fire dragon was re-engaged in front of the front. Looking from the barren land where tanks gathered toward the Soviet front several kilometers away, it was already flooded by fire and smoke, just as the gates of hell suddenly opened.

Captain Ribbentrop, who has been fighting hard since last night, is still more energetic. His company now has 18 e-50a tanks that can be activated. From last night to now, only one tank in his company has been completely destroyed (a js-2 tank hit the side with a 122mm cannon), and another tank has been severely damaged (a js-2 tank's 122mm cannon penetrated the front of the vehicle body by a 122mm cannon). In addition, two tanks have mechanical failures and are being repaired.

However, because two vehicles under repair have been repaired and built, Ribbintrop's company now has 18 e-50a tanks that can be used. It is obvious that the e-50a tank is a vehicle with excellent reliability. After absorbing the achievements of the "Tiger" and "Black Panther", it also combines many achievements in tank and internal combustion engine technology between Britain and France to create an excellent tank.

Not only is it powerful, but also very reliable, so it can maximize efficiency on the battlefield.

"Everyone moves forward, long live the victory!" At this time, the order of the group commander Major General Marx, came from Little Ribbentrop's headphones.
