Chapter 305 Self-directed and self-acted

A taxi was parked near the gate of the warehouse outside Venice. Gal Gadot got out of the car and took out a suitcase from the trunk and pulled it into the warehouse.

"Hi Gail."

As soon as he entered the warehouse, a staff member on duty greeted her at the door. Gal Gadot smiled and waved his hands to the other side, "Long time no see, John."

She walked in and met many people. Whether they knew or not, as long as someone said hello, Gal Gadot would respond enthusiastically. Most of them smiled sincerely. Although they were not members of the crew, her popularity was obviously very good.

"Gal, why are you back now?"

I met Paul Wilson in the office area. Gal Gadot stopped and said, "There was something wrong with the club's plan. There was not enough funds, so I could only go back to Los Angeles in advance."

She pointed to the front, "Murphy is in the office?"

"Yeah." Paul Wilson nodded, "You go over."

When he arrived at Murphy's office, Gal Gadot knocked on the door lightly, and when the familiar "plea color" sounded inside, he pushed the door and walked in.

"Visual effects are a very important part of the post-production process."

In the office, Murphy is communicating with the person in charge of the digital field that provides special effects services to the project. "I have more than 200 post-production special effects shots to be produced..."

Seeing Gal Gadot come in, Murphy nodded at her. Gal Gadot had called before and did not return to school, but came here directly.

Gal Gadot waved to the people in the office and said with a smile, "You guys keep going."

After saying that, she dragged her suitcase to the glass wall of the suite, opened the door and walked in, trying not to disturb Murphy and the others' work.

Close the glass door, Gal Gadot put his suitcase, took out the Nokia phone Murphy gave her, and looked through some photos taken in San Francisco. From time to time, he would look at Murphy through the characteristic glass.

The sound insulation here is very poor, and the sound outside is clearly transmitted. Almost all Murphy is talking and others are listening.

“We will shoot on film throughout the whole process.”

This is what Murphy told Filey Raschel. "To some extent, the mystery of film is why I love it deeply, but digital photography can indeed reduce the technical problems that film will encounter in washing. Maybe numbers won't surprise you from time to time, but it is undeniable that it will reduce a lot of risks. It can give you a good sleep without waking up at 4 a.m. and then call the washing room to ask if he needs to deal with some situations today; but this does not mean that your work will be reduced or easier. You still have to put the light in the right place and make the right choice."

Putting down the phone, Gal Gadot lifted his chin and stared at Murphy through the glass wall. The two have been dating for more than a year. As time goes by, the passion not only has not subsided, but has become thicker and thicker in her heart...

"Okay, let's be here for the time being today."

The meeting outside dispersed, and when the others left, Murphy stopped calling because he found it interesting, and came to the crew and was preparing to act as assistant director Jonah Hill, "Jona, wait a moment."

Seth Logan patted Jonah Hill on the shoulder, "You're going to be reused by Murphy."

"I'm going to be exploited by him, a black-hearted capitalist!" Jonah Hill muttered deliberately.

He just participated in the post-production of a comedy movie and had nothing to do for the time being. In addition, Seth Logan and James Franko were both here, so he simply joined the crew.

Unlike Jonah Hill, Seth Logan left the office and immediately found Paul Wilson and an assistant producer, walked out of the warehouse gate, and prepared to go to the outdoor location together.

Outside the warehouse gate, there was no longer the quiet quiet that Gal Gadot had when he came before, and suddenly there were many paparazzi and entertainment reporters. Paul Wilson couldn't help but frown when he saw them.

"Why are these guys coming?" He was quite puzzled.

The crew has always been very low-key, and because of the needs of publicity and marketing, the most stringent confidentiality system has never attracted the attention of the media.

The target of those reporters was not the crew. Seeing Paul Wilson and Seth Logan come out, they just took a look and ignored them.

Seth Logan shrugged, "We're ignored. What are they waiting for? Waiting for Murphy and Gale?"

It is obvious that these reporters and paparazzi are waiting here specifically.

"No." Paul Wilson shook his head. In the direction opposite him, a red Ford sedan was really slowly driving over. From the front windshield, he said, "They should be waiting for her."

The Ford car parked in the parking lot on the side of the warehouse. A petite woman wearing light makeup and dressed in plain clothes pushed the door and walked down. The paparazzi reporter rushed up and surrounded her in the middle, and pressed the camera shutter frequently like she was not paid.

"Natalie Portman..." Seth Logan certainly recognized this woman, "It turned out that Queen Padme Amidala arrived, no wonder these reporters and paparazzi were waiting here."

Paul Wilson withdrew his gaze and was not interested in this drama that was obviously directed and acted by himself. He reminded him, "Let's go, don't waste time. We still have several outdoor locations to see."

Although most of the plot of the film takes place in Missouri, Murphy is not planning to go to Missouri for on-site shooting because he cannot get tax refunds and other related preferential policies. The crew will basically stay in Los Angeles to find a suitable location.

Seth Logan took a last look over there. Natalie Portman got out of the car was surrounded by reporters and paparazzi, but the order between the reporters and paparazzi was very good.

"Miss Portman, director Stanton's new film is being prepared here."

A reporter put the microphone in front of Natalie Portman and asked loudly, "You are here now, are you interested in working with Director Stanton?"

"Murphy is a great director." Natalie Portman praised, "It is the honor of every actor to work with him. The heroine of his new work is really great. I have never encountered such a brilliant role. I came here to negotiate the possibility of cooperation with him."

Another reporter asked, "Can you disclose it?"

Natalie Portman shook his head, "Sorry, I can't do this until the crew officially reveals it."

A script is often widely circulated in Hollywood and may be handed by many people. It seems that the specific content can be circulated at any time, but in fact it rarely happens. There has been an unwritten consensus within the circle, and no one will take the initiative to reveal the content of the script they have seen. If you do this, the consequences will be very serious and you will be rejected by the entire circle.

As an actor, especially well-known actors, you can see many scripts. If you reveal the content of a movie to the public, what will the crew you want to work with in the future? When giving the actors a script, they will inevitably have doubts about whether they will leak the secrets to the outside world.

Natalie Portman is a smart person, and of course he won't do anything to become a public enemy in the circle.

"What do you think of this cooperation?" The question asked by the reporter seemed to have cooperated.

"I will fight for it all." Natalie Portman smiled. "I admire Director Stanton very much. His style is so unique that I dream of working with him."

Turning around, Natalie Portman walked towards the warehouse gate. The reporters and paparazzi not only did not surround him, but also made them to both sides, just like a farewell to the queen, watching Natalie Portman leave.

There was no one in front of him, and the enthusiastic smile on his face disappeared instantly. Natalie Portman curled the corners of his mouth and used the media to create momentum. This was also a common method for her to obtain characters in the past. Everyone said it was suitable. With the careful preparations next, isn't the character Amy easy to get?

She can handle even famous characters like Luc Besson and George Lucas, let alone a young director like Murphy Stanton?

She also had some understanding before coming. From the information she obtained, it is not difficult to see that Murphy Stanton is not the devoted boyfriend in the eyes of the silly girl Gal Gadot. Before dating Gal Gadot, she also dated a British girl. It seemed that due to Jessica Chastain's intervention, the breakup was caused. Then it was revealed that the relationship between Jessica Alba and him was unclear...

Natalie Portman certainly knows what the Hollywood circle looks like, and 99% of such rumors are true.

"You are... you are Padme Amidala..." The staff on duty at the door were wearing a Star Wars T-shirt. Seeing Natalie Portman's eyes were straightened, "No, you are Miss Natalie Portman."

"I'm looking for Murphy." Natalie Portman filled with a warm and kind smile.

The duty officer immediately said, "Please go here, Director Stanton is in the office."

The face became a pass completely. Natalie Portman found Murphy's office without much effort and then gently knocked the door.

"Please come in."

Hearing this voice, she pushed the door and walked in. Murphy sat behind a simple desk, talking to a fat man with his back to her.

"Hi, Murphy." Natalie Portman waved to the other side. Murphy didn't expect it was her, but he nodded, "Hello, Nat."

Jonah Hill turned his head and looked at Natalie Portman, and turned around and deliberately squeezed his eyes at Murphy, stood up, "Let's get here today. I still have work to work, so let's go first."
