Chapter 20 Mountain Temple Peach Blossom

There is a rule for divination in the Plum Blossom Yi Number: If there are too many yin lines in the hexagram, such as all yin lines or only one yang lines, it means that the hexagram symbol has too much variables, and I am afraid that it is not something that the divination person can control.

Now there are five yin lines in the hexagram, indicating that the change in this matter is too great. I am afraid it is unknown whether Mei Lengxiang can be found.

Seeing Yi Xingchen staring at the two plum blossoms in his hand dazed, Tang Xiaoqi stared at him and said, "What are you stupid? Hurry up and calculate, what are you doing?"

Yi Xingchen shook his head and focused on the hexagram. The previous hexagram was just to determine the general direction, so he only needed to list the hexagrams. Now, he needed to determine the specific location where Mei Lengxiang might hide, so he had to arrange all hexagrams. Then he had to determine the moving lines.

So he picked another peach branch and took it to count it, which were nine peach blossoms. Added the number of peach blossoms of the three peach branches and divided them by six, and the remaining number was the moving line, which was in the fifth line.

The original hexagram is quickly arranged in the mind, divided into the body hexagram, the use hexagram, the lower hexagram, the upper hexagram and the change hexagram. Immediately, five three-dimensional hexagrams appeared in my mind.

His attention first focused on the change hexagram representing the result. The Kan hexagram belongs to water. The original hexagram counts wood, and water produces wood, which means that it is auspicious, indicating that the plum blossoms can be found this time, and then he breathes a sigh of relief.

However, after his attention passed by the use of the hexagram and the two mutual hexagrams, he couldn't help but shake his head and smile bitterly. These three hexagrams are all Kun hexagrams, which belong to wood. Wood overcomes earth. This means that this search will be very difficult and it takes a lot of effort to find it.

Judging from the hexagram, the location where Mei Lengxiang might be hiding should be in a place where there is soil in the temple. This is a problem. The temple is full of Bodhisattvas. Isn’t Bodhisattvas just made of soil? What’s more, many houses in the temple are also earthen houses. Do you have to look for earthen houses in the entire temple? Then when should you find it?

Yi Xingchen looked at the buildings with a bitter face, and he had to further narrow the scope.

He also examined the three-dimensional hexagrams in his mind in detail and found that the three Kun hexagrams, the use of the hexagrams in the middle, are flashing.

According to previous experiences, if a hexagram or a certain line in the hexagram flashes, it prompts him to think about this aspect. But now all three hexagrams are flashing, and he is a little confused. What does this mean?

Because the three hexagrams are all Kun hexagrams belong to earth, would you remind yourself to look for them in the clay Bodhisattva? Could it be that you ran behind the Bodhisattva and hid?

Yi Xingchen said to Tang Xiaoqi: "Let's look for all the Bodhisattvas in the temple one by one, and Sister Mei Zi may be hiding behind a certain Bodhisattva."

"What did she do when she hides on the Bodhisattva shop?"

"How do I know? Anyway, the hexagram says that, and we should go to the Bodhisattva's place to look for it. When you find it, you will ask her why she hides behind."

The two of them were about to walk into the hall when a little monk came towards him. He saw the peach blossoms in Yi Xingchen's hand at first sight and immediately scolded: "What are you doing? Why are you picking peach blossoms? Didn't you see the notice at the door?"

They were just looking for someone and rushed in like arrows, not even having to look at the notice at the door.

The little monk glared and said, "The peach trees in this temple were planted by all donors. They are not allowed to be picked at will. You are not picking the peach trees in the mountain. You have already said that if you pick a peach branch, you will be fined twenty cents. If you pick three peach blossoms, you will be fined sixty cents. You will be fined! Otherwise, I will take you to see the host!"

Yi Xingchen is a modern young man with high school education. He knows that picking peach blossoms in the park is immoral, but that is in modern society. He thought that returning to ancient times, there shouldn’t be so many things to pay attention to. He just rushed to use the flowers on the peach branches to determine the location of the plum Lengxiang, and he didn’t care about these things. Unexpectedly, he was caught by the little monk and felt a little embarrassed. He said, “I don’t have money.”

"No money?" The little monk looked up and down at Yi Xingchen, who was half a head taller than him, "Then go with me to meet the host and receive the punishment in front of the host."

He stretched out his little hand to grab Yi Xingchen. Tang Xiaoqi stopped him and said, "What are you doing? What are you doing?"

The little monk was startled. He dared to go and rabbit half a head taller than him to Yi Xingchen, but he did not dare to touch Tang Xiaoqi, who was about the same size as him. Because men and women were not allowed to kiss him, he was a monk again. He quickly blushed and took two steps back and said, "Please step back with a female donor. The little monk wants to take this thief to see the host and wait for his death."

When Yi Xingchen heard that the little monk actually gave him such a noble name, he was really amused and crying. Before he could tell, Tang Xiaoqi had already stared at the eye wide open, and his slender fingers almost poked the little monk's forehead: "What are you talking nonsense about, you are a little monk? What a thief? You are so ugly. You are still a monk, so you can say such words?"

The little monk's face was even red, and Qiqi Aiai said, "He, he is stealing peach blossoms, what's the point of picking them?"

"Picking peach blossoms is a thief? Is this how your master taught you to speak? Besides, where did you see us picking peach blossoms? Who told you that this peach blossoms was picked from the trees in your temple?"

The little monk really didn't see the process of Yi Xingchen picking peach blossoms. He only saw Yi Xingchen holding three peach blossoms in his hand, so he stopped him. After hearing Tang Xiaoqi's question, he was speechless and hesitated and said, "That was not picked in our temple, where did that come from?"

Tang Xiaoqi just made such a slander. When she heard the other party’s words, she was immediately happy and said, “Can’t we pick it up from the ground? Can’t it be given by someone else? Besides, besides your fierce Bodhi Temple, there are no peach trees in other places? Let me tell you, these peach blossoms were bought from outside, can you do it?”

There are indeed peach blossoms on the street for people to buy them home and put them in a bottle. When they heard Tang Xiaoqi say this, the little monk didn't know how to retort and stammered: "You, you lied to me, there are no peach blossoms outside our temple."

"Who told you that we bought it from outside your temple? We can't buy it from other places and bring it? It's really boring! Get out of here, we are going to burn incense and donate. If you delay us from giving and fulfilling your vows, the Bodhisattva blames you, and you can't afford to take it!"

When the young monk heard that they were here to burn incense and donate, it would be fine, but the donor who gave the donor was the food and clothing parents of the temple. No one gave to the temple, so the monks in the temple could not survive. Therefore, the monks in the temple were very polite to the donor who came to give. It didn't matter when they saw Yi Xingchen dressed in a rustic manner, but this little girl was dressed very clean and had high-end silk. She looked like a woman from a well-off family. The masters in the temple often said that families like this were actually more kind and generous than those rich families.

The little monk immediately changed his smile and bowed to Tang Xiaoqi and said, "So the female donor is here to give alms? Sorry, please go here, I will take you to the main hall."

Tang Xiaoqi's eyes rolled, and she reached into her arms and took out a few copper coins and handed them to the monk, saying, "Today is great. My brother and I will go out for a trip and go to the temple to burn incense and donate. We have just arrived and haven't played yet. Let's do this. Take us to see everywhere in the temple first, and every Bodhisattva will pay respects. These copper coins will buy you snacks. After we have finished shopping around, we will go to the main hall to give. Then we will give you another benefit."

The little monk couldn't help but be overjoyed, and quickly reached out to take the money and put it in his arms. He smiled and said, "This is fine, the little monk is willing to be two guides."

When Yi Xingchen heard Tang Xiaoqi's words, he actually lost his temper. Instead, he wanted to take them to the temple as their guide, and he was both funny and admired. He quickly threw the three peach branches in his hand under the peach tree and followed Tang Xiaoqi to the temple under the guidance of the little monk.

Tang Xiaoqi asked the little monk: "Did anyone come to your temple to make trouble last night? Is there anything strange happening?"

"Last night, a large mansion in the small town at the foot of the mountain caught fire and continued until dawn. Fortunately, it did not spread. A great mansion was destroyed like this. The servants of the mansion rushed into the temple last night and said they wanted to search the temple because the firemen fled into the temple. Our host couldn't stop it. They pushed us away and rushed in and searched everywhere. After searching for the middle of the night, they didn't find the person they said to set fire, so they left in disappointment. They also smashed a lot of our things. The host was very angry, but there was no way. I heard that this mansion was a very good family. I couldn't afford to offend them."
