Chapter 85 Iron Melting Technique(1/2)

In the early morning, a convoy set out from Hongsong Manor. Mules and cows gasped and pulled the cart behind them, and eight four-wheeled carts slowly headed towards Chiyi Port.

"Stop, what are you doing? What are you pulling in the car?" A patrol team on the road stopped the convoy.

"There are all food on the car." The coachman replied: "We are from Hongsong Manor, and we give the city an levy."

The Chiyi Port Review Council, on the grounds of war, required that plantations and villages of all sizes on the island to take out grain as military rations, which was called a levy by the islanders.

The soldiers in the patrol stood on the wheel and looked into the carriage. They saw that there were neat sacks in the carriage. Then they cut a hole and the wheat flowed out.

Seeing that it was indeed food, the patrol team did not make things difficult for the convoy.

Before leaving, the captain of the patrol team joked to the young man next to the coachman: "Look at you, you are tall, what's the point of being a senior worker? Should you join the army? We are short of staff, a small silver board a day, one month is enough for you to earn a year now."

The young man grinned and said nothing.

"Hey? I'm asking you! Are you mute? Can't speak?"

The driver of the toothless coach hurriedly accompanied him to smile and explained: "Brother, you are really right. This silly boy is just a mute. Our master pity him, so he asked him to drive the car with me."

The young man was dancing and gestured.

Seeing that the other party was a mute, the captain of the patrol team did not make any more embarrassment, but just muttered regretfully: "It turned out to be a mute, and I thought it was a good piece of material." He waved his hand and let the convoy go.

After throwing away the patrol, Gold, who was driving the car, smiled and said to Winters: "Sir, this guy is quite eye-catching. You can tell at a glance that you are a piece of military material."

Winters smiled bitterly and waved his hand: "This can almost be aroused... Thanks to you. Let's not talk about this for now, continue to teach me the islanders' dialect..."

Winters led the convoy to continue moving forward. The ox cart was very slow and it almost arrived at Chiyi Harbor from early morning to evening. Along the way, I met only a patrol team, and even the pedestrians were scarce.

On the last fork to Chiyan Port, the convoy turned into a path that was not heading to Chiyan Port and drove to an unmanned place.

These big cars have been modified by Winters. The bottom of the carriage is equipped with partitions, which are tall enough to accommodate adults lying flat. From the appearance, it is just a big carriage that transports the car. Unless all the wheat bags are removed, there will be no abnormality.

The Heds of Hongsong Manor are hiding under the partition

After the post was released, Winters led the remaining Venetta soldiers to unload the truck immediately.

The Hurd men who had been suffering under the dark and stuffy partition for nearly a day were pale and almost couldn't stand firmly.

However, they did not complain, but just supported each other and jumped out of the cart, and found a place to go to the toilet without saying a word.

"Have you arrived at the place?" Hestas asked Winters panted. He followed him, and there was no way. Among these Hurds, he only knew the common language.

Staying in a small space like a can, all day long, without even a place to turn over. The middle-aged people could hardly stand this torment, let alone Hestas was an old man in his sixties.

"We have to walk the rest of the way." Winters handed his water bag to Hestas and used his honorific for the first time: "Old man, is it okay?"

"It's okay." The old shaman was in a bad state, but he seemed to be fine, and said with a laugh: "It's much easier than riding a horse."

There are not only people hidden in the cart, but also weapons.

After counting the number of people and allocating weapons, the Venetta and the Hed worked together to load the food back into the car.

Bud took some of his people to drive the cart to a hidden place to hide.

Winters and Andre led another group of people into the jungle.

Their goal is to guard the two cannon bases at the throat of Chisulphur Port Bay.

——Cut—

Early in the morning.

Cloudless.

The moon phases full moon.

Coast of the Red Sulphur Port Gulf.

The bright moonlight shines on the water and on the coast, leaving nowhere to hide for all people and things.

Dane, a soldier from the Taniria Federation, was guarding the post on the coast, and his eyelids kept fighting.

On the sea, an iron cable as thick as a forearm spans the east and west banks, setting off an insurmountable barrier at the throat of the bay.

Any ship that wants to forcibly break into this sea-blocking cable will smash the hull and sink.

This is a man-made natural danger, the city wall on the sea.

And the weakest place in this natural danger is not the iron chain itself, but the place where the iron chain is fixed.

The Tanirians of course saw this, with the iron chain extending out from the cannon barracks on the shore, which are equipped with a winch to pull up and down, and at the other end is a pier.

Both ends are guarded by the most trusted troops of the Council. Once there is a policeman, Chisulphur Port can quickly support it.

In Sentinel Dane's opinion, this was just an ordinary day in the siege.

The entrance to the bay of Chisulphur Port was secured by two cannons and two iron chains, so the people of Vinetta could not enter.

Venetta's warships were patrolling outside the bay, and even the ships from Chisulphur Port could not get out.

This is a siege on the sea. People outside want to come in and people inside want to go out, but they can't get what they want.

The main force of the Venetta people was concentrated on the northern coast, and the main force of the Chisulphur Port Review Council was also confronting the enemy.

In Dane's opinion, although his work of keeping watch is boring, it is better to be safe. Even if the enemy wants to land forcibly, he will only attack from the northern coast. Only when the Vinetta people have broken their minds will they attack the impregnable Red Sulfur Bay.

At this moment, Dane only hoped that the next post would come to change shifts as soon as possible. He was already very sleepy.

Just as he was drowsy in the sound of the waves, the subtle footsteps coming from behind him, Dane asked loudly in a daze: "Who?"

"Come to change the job."

"Hey, when is it now? Are you here too late?"

The visitor did not answer, but just got closer and closer.

Only when he was six or seven steps away, Dane saw the other party's dark face clearly. He said in surprise: "You..."

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content behind! Before the words were finished, the person who came raised his hand and a cold light flashed, and a steel cone was nailed into Dane's eyes, and a pointed tip appeared on the back of his head.

The person who shot this cone was Winters.

After hitting the ball, Winters did not stop, but shot the other two steel cones in his hand one after another with flying arrow technique at the sentry.

Now he doesn't care about saving magic, so he shoots three shots in one breath to ensure the kill.

After three bones were smashed and made a crisp sound, the veteran of the Taniria Federation could not even shout, but just slumped softly with a "huh".

Winters rushed over quickly and held the other person's body.

After dealing with the sentry, he picked up two stones, three short and one long, and hit them twice.

The other Venettas who heard the signal emerged from the shadow of the dense forest in the distance and trotted to Winters.

The Hudds were speechless, which made them unable to execute any complex tactical commands.

So Winters simply divided the team into two: he and Bard took the Venettas to get rid of the sentries on the enemy's shore, and Andre and Hestas took the other Heards to deal with the patrol.

If the surprise attack turns into a strong attack, the Huds are responsible for blocking reinforcements set out from the artillery basement.

"Have I brought my carry-on? I'll give me my carry-on." The nervousness and excitement made Winters almost speechless.

When the Sentinel asked, Winters almost believed that the sneak attack had failed. The moonlight tonight was too bright to avoid people at all. His plan must be carried out on the day when the moon was full.

But I never expected that the few words of Tanirian dialect I learned temporarily came in handy.

"I'm carrying your carriage, don't worry." Bard comforted Winters with a smile on his face, and quickly untied the standard carriage of the caster on his body.

Bard didn't expect that the process of touching the whistle was so smooth. No one could have thought that the Tanirians' secret whistle had changed their guards, and the one-time change of guard exposed the sentry on the coast.

Winters immediately took the carry, opened the layers of buffer, and carefully removed the silver, black and dark silver powders in glass bottles.

These two things are the key to the action tonight and the key to the feasibility of the plan.

Winters knows what the black powder is, which the alchemist calls it copper essence, and is obtained after grinding and refining pure copper.

Silver and dark silver powder are also products of alchemy. Dark silver powder is called a combustion aid by alchemists, while silver metal is the most expensive and rare. Alchemists call it activated metal, also known as aluminum.

The purpose of the Tanirians setting up posts on the coast was to prevent the Venettas from boarding a boat at night, but the post was right next to the iron rope, which was why Winters had to kill the sentry.

Tonight, Winters will destroy these two artificial natural barriers and block the sea cables.

Winters first mixed the aluminum powder and the copper fine powder, and then started stirring.

Both the new recruits and veterans of Venetta looked at Warrant Officer Montane in awe, and they already knew that this officer was the legendary magician. In their eyes, magic and witchcraft were no different.

The iron chains of the blocked Red Sulphur Bay are connected by iron rings as thick as forearms, part of which is on the shore. What Winters wants to destroy is the iron rings on the shore.

He first took out the small iron plates prepared in advance, roughly formed an iron box with iron plates, and separated a small section of the middle of the subway ring.

Immediately afterwards, he poured nearly two kilograms of spell casting material into the iron box, and the small section where the iron ring was separated was buried by the spell casting material. Finally, Winters poured the combustion aid.

"Canvas!" Winters whispered.

The soldiers next to them immediately raised the canvas prepared in advance and blocked them tightly around Winters.

"Listen, no matter what happens, never retreat." Because of the terrifying momentum of this spell, Winters repeated the order he gave before the action: "Don't be afraid, there's nothing scary."

Then, he took a deep breath and entered the casting state with his breath.

The spell he is about to use is one of the most powerful spells in the fire system, the iron melting technique.

Fire-burning spells rely extremely on spell casting materials. The caster's own ability is like a fire source. The spell casting material is fuel. The more spell casting materials, the greater the spell's power.
