Chapter 23: Chasing(2/2)

Lieutenant Colonel Custer became more and more angry the more he thought about it: "Who was the last one to meet Winters Montagne yesterday?"

The Dusaks looked at each other and exchanged information with each other. Finally, the blacksmith Misha called over. The old blacksmith did not participate in the pursuit because of a wound on his leg.

"You were the last to see the deserter Montagne?" asked the lieutenant colonel.

The old blacksmith scratched his head: "Report to the lieutenant, I don't know if I am the last one to see the lieutenant."

"What did he ask you for?"

"Pick his custom-made sword."

"Is there anything else?"

"It's gone."

"Where did he say he was going?"

"I have no idea."

Custer knew that he could not ask anything on the blacksmith, and he gritted his teeth and asked, "You all protect him, right?"

"No, how dare I?" The old blacksmith waved his hands repeatedly.

Custer let out a furious roar and cut the wooden ladder beside him into two pieces with a sword.

"Wait, wait until I catch him, no one who protects him can escape!" Custer glanced at the Dusaks hatefully, and he inserted his military sword back into the scabbard: "Go!"

"Report to the Lord." The old blacksmith scratched his head again: "The lieutenant seemed to have bought a bag of nails..."

...

In Mitchell's manor, Ms. Michelle hugged her mother and cried sadly: "Mom, has Mr. Montagne really gone?"

Mrs. Mitchell patted her little daughter on the back and said seriously: "Princess Montane did not belong here either. We should not be sad, we should pray for him. I pray that he can return to his father and mother safely."

...

"Oh, why did you leave?" Sergei sighed with his horse, "I don't know where to go."

Gillard glared at Sergey: "Stop talking."

"Oh." Sergey rarely spoke to the elder brother: "I just want to send the second lieutenant for a long time, so why do we have to send it to you?"

...

"Friend Reed, has Brother Winters really gone?"

The old monk stroking his beard and said lightly: "You must understand that Pierre. Once he leaves, it may be a good thing for Winters. [Selica] You must know that misfortune is the place where good fortune depends, and blessing is the place where bad fortune lies."

...

And more people: Father Kaman, the ponytail Angelu, the little hunter Bell... I don't know the news yet.

...

Before leaving, Custer picked three of his best riding men, and he said to the first person: "Take this note to Hevordan, and make sure they send the fastest horses to hunt along the way."

The lieutenant colonel ordered the remaining two people: "The Venetta people must go back to Venetta. You two will go directly to inform all the garrisons on Venetta Road and ask them to set up checkpoints along the way..."

While Lieutenant Colonel Custer was still instructing, he and his cavalry heard an excited shout: "Lieutenant Montane is back!"

"Where?" Custer was furious.

"On there!" One Dusak pointed his finger at the hill a hundred meters away with excitement: "Redik!"

The lieutenant colonel looked up and saw a red horse jumping up from behind the hills and rushing down like thunder. The rider became clearer and clearer in his vision, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of Custer.

"Pinant Montane!" Custer yelled angrily: "You are leaving the job..."

"Dong"

"Dong"

Lieutenant Colonel Custer was only halfway through his words, and was interrupted by two heavy sounds of landing.

The second lieutenant untied the saddle bag and threw it in front of the lieutenant colonel.

A head fell out of the blood-seeking saddle bag and rolled to Custer's feet. The lieutenant colonel lowered his head and looked at his eyes with a pair of unsightly eyes.

"The car is west of Fengpingdu, you can move it yourself."

The lieutenant wiped his nose and rode his horse all night, sweating and blowing the wind, and he seemed to have a cold.

...

The peace agreement between the Hed and the Paratus stipulates that the land west of the Great Kowloon River will not be cultivated; the land east of the Red River will not be grazed.

In this way, the two sides retained a "no man's land" of nearly 100 kilometers between each other.

The Dajiao River becomes the natural boundary on the west side of Langtun Town.

Thirty kilometers west of Fengpingdupu Site, Custer found a convoy of smugglers.

The goods were intact, and the fully armed corpses were scattered everywhere, but there was nothing on the neck.

Judging from the traces at the scene, what Lieutenant Montane did was very simple: he rushed into the convoy and killed half of the people first, and then began to chase the other half.

The more you look at Custer's guards, the more frightened he became.

"Sir." The guard said to Custer in fear: "I think that guy may have really had the intention to kill."

"Grass!" Lieutenant Colonel slapped his legs and cursed: "This bastard didn't leave a single slap for me!"

...

Before the Caster Cavalry set out from Mitchell Manor.

Custer found Winters, who was washing his hands.

"Prepare it. Langtun Town is about to draw a 100-man team." said the lieutenant colonel.

The lieutenant stopped: "Are you threatening me?"

"Boy, I'm paying back your favor. Now I know that I always know that I'm going to be fucked when I'm going to be fucked." Custer snorted coldly: "Wolf Town wants to fuck this thing today, it's already decided. The sooner you know, the more you can do."

The lieutenant colonel left, and the lieutenant was still washing his hands hard, over and over again.
