041. Lynn's Christmas Eve

The weather is getting colder.

Hogwarts also officially started the Christmas holiday.

Before leaving, Cedric invited Lynn to celebrate Christmas, but Lynn did not agree.

He has been in this world for more than ten years and has not had the habit of celebrating this festival. What's more, he spends Christmas with his family, and it's not good for him to be an outsider to go there.

As for Ian, although he is not in conflict with Linn Cedric now, his relationship is not so good that he invites Linn to go back to meet his parents with him.

After a few days of contact, Lynn also found out the components of his family.

Like him, Yian was also from a pure Muggle family, but he had a father and a mother, unlike Lynn, who was an orphan.

Hogwarts began to become deserted. There were basically no young wizards left in the castle. Now they are not even in the school for dinner, but the young wizards left share a table.

Professor Fox didn't look like he was leaving Hogwarts. During this period, Lynn carefully mentioned it once. The professor said that he is now a bachelor and wherever he goes, he is his home.

The day before Christmas, Professor McGonagall notified all the little wizards who stayed at school. Tonight in the auditorium, Professor Dumbledore will accompany everyone to spend this year's Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, Lynn came to the auditorium carefully decorated by the professors.

In the center was a huge Christmas tree, which Hagrid specially selected in the forbidden forest. When he carried it this morning, Lynn even greeted him.

There are also the golden little stars floating on the Christmas tree, which belong to Professor Flitvi’s handwriting.

It was not easy to cast spells on this Christmas tree at his height. He put two stools on it and specially found two young wizards to help him hold the stool to prevent it from falling down.

Professor McGonagall has long since turned into many ribbons, bells and garlands around the auditorium, making the originally monotonous auditorium much more eye-catching.

There are also the flowers and plants arranged by Professor Sprout, and the less stinky face of Professor Snape, which makes the atmosphere of festivals in Hogwarts very strong.

Although there were not many little wizards left in the school, almost all single professors were there, including Hagrid, who was not a professor's hunting ground guard, Felch, the castle administrator, Mrs. Pins, the library administrator, and Mrs. Pomfrey, the school doctor. Everyone gathered together.

Not only the living people, but also the ghosts of Hogwarts, who escorted the Pipi Ghost and forced him to dress him up as an elk. Leading by the Bloodman Barrow also came to the auditorium to attend the banquet with everyone.

Professor Dumbledore had long sat in the middle of the long table. Today he wore a red Christmas hat and had a gentle smile on his face, like a harmless old man next door.

The dinner was equally sumptuous, with the long table full of Western cuisine, oversized portions of turkey with expansion spells, wood-like trunk cakes, German gingerbread, sausage, grilled suckling pigs, and a Christmas pudding in front of everyone.

After the little wizard, professor and ghosts sang Christmas songs to the Christmas tree, the dinner officially began.

The professors did not sit together, but sat apart among the little wizards. Lynn's position was a bit strange, and he sat next to Professor Dumbledore.

This was the first time he had been so close to the greatest white wizard of the 20th century. Dumbledore looked very old, with gray hair and beard, loose skin and many wrinkles.

But he still looked energetic, not like a centenarian.

"Linn Belloc is right?" Dumbledore's eyes always gave people a sense of trust. As soon as Lyn entered the door, he waved him to his side and sat down.

Lynn was actually a little nervous. Dumbledore could be said to be the wizard at the top of the world. He was not sure whether the brain closure technique that the system rewarded him could work, and he didn't know why the principal who had not appeared in the school for half a semester knew him.

"Yes, professor, do you know me?" Lynn's nervousness was not performing.

Dumbledore smiled.

"Adrien often mentions you here, saying that you are the best student in Hogwarts he has ever met."

OK, the murderer has been found!

Lin Neng's face was a little dark, and he was actually sold by his most trusted professor.

He glanced at Professor Fox, who was chatting with Professor McGonagall in a vague manner, then shook his head.

"Professor Fox is too famous, but I am still far from it. Among the little wizards I know, Cedric, who is in the same grade as me, is better than me."

"They are indeed very talented students, but don't belittle yourself, you all have a great future."

Dumbledore has been savoring his Christmas pudding carefully. He, known for his old bee, like Lynn, loves sweets very much.

"Are you still used to this time in Hogwarts?"

"The professors are all very good, the classmates are very friendly, and the magic is also very interesting. Compared to what I lived alone before, it is not an exaggeration to call it heaven."

Lynn felt that this wave of flattery was fine, and it would definitely make the old bee dragon happy.

Sure enough, Dumbledore laughed happily, but his next sentence made Lynn unable to laugh.

"I heard from Minerva that when I was not at Hogwarts, your roommates tried to frame you once, and don't you hate them?"

Lin En thought about the old bee's meaning in his heart, but couldn't think of any clues, so he could only say with a tough bullet.

"Of course I feel resentful in my heart, but you know, Shibert has become like that, he has received enough punishment. And I can't change their minds. I don't hate them, I just want to avoid them."

Lynn's mood was a little low, Dumbledore comforted him.

"Bellock, everyone has their own idea of perseverance. You don't have to bear anything because of other people's prejudice. Think about your friends and professors who care about you, they are people you can trust."

"Thank you Professor Dumbledore."

"You're welcome, come and try this pudding, it tastes so good."

...

While the teachers and students of Hogwarts were celebrating Christmas Eve, a girl in a white dress was gnawing at the steak in her hand with happiness in front of the underground storage room of the castle.

Her hands were covered in oil, and even the near her mouth was covered in oil stains. While eating, she patted the wooden door with her little hands.

"Sofia wants one more piece!"

Not long after, another steak suddenly appeared from the empty plate in front of her.

The person behind the wooden door said something, and Sophia, who was so happy that she was almost crying, nodded repeatedly.

"I know I know, I'll leave when I'm full, and I'll never let Lynn doubt it."
