237. Sorting Hat
When Lynn thought about it and wanted to ask Ms. Gray, she had already floated away.
There are many doubts.
He recalled the expression when Ms. Gray said these words just now, and always felt that this was not as simple as he thought.
But it was already very late today. Lynn might cause trouble for Hermione if he continued to wander around the castle. He kept everything Ms. Gray said in his heart and returned to the House of Responsibles.
Hermione was still flipping through the thick, brick-like big heads in the room. She said as she watched Lynn come in, yawning.
"I thought you wouldn't be back tonight, now the curfew has begun."
When Lynn came, he went to the kitchen to get some late-night snacks and handed them to Hermione.
"Where can I go if I don't come back? Thank you for your hard work today. I have read the book here for so long."
They were experiencing their experience today while consuming midnight snacks in the house.
"...... Harry and Ron are all this. I've read all their magic lessons and done well. Then I went to Ravenclaw's dormitory and met a freshman, Luna Lovegood, halfway through, you made a deal with her and answered the question of the eagle-shaped door knocker. Then Luna asked you to visit the Ravenclaw's common room and you refused. She helped to shout Ms. Gray out, and finally you had a secret conversation with Ms. Gray. That's all that tonight."
Hermione listened carefully in case she and Lynn had an inconsistency after exchanging her identities.
"Did you ask the entrance to the hiding place of the snake monster?"
Lynn rubbed his forehead with headache: "There are clues, but the clues Ms. Gray gave me are very strange. You have to come here again after class tomorrow, and I need to verify it."
Of course, Hermione agreed obediently, and then Lynn used the magical body spell to help send her back to Gryffindor's dormitory, and then returned to the house that he would like to ask for.
No words all night.
After Hermione finished class the next evening, Lynn borrowed her identity to act in Hogwarts again.
The three things Ms. Gray said were actually easy to find.
The door knocker hawk of Lavenclaw was hung on the door of the common room, and the Gryffindor branch hat was now lying quietly in the principal's room, while the kitchen painting of Hauch Patch should be the mural with fruits used to hide the Hogwarts kitchen door.
As for why there is no Slytherin, Lynn speculated that perhaps it was because he left Hogwarts after Slytherin and the other Big Three fell apart, so he was not here.
But then again, what will the things built by the fairy in Hogwarts Castle have to do with the four Hogwarts giants?
Lynn couldn't figure it out for the time being, but he decided he could try it as Ms. Gray said.
After having supper in place of Hermione and Harry, Lynn headed straight to the nearest kitchen entrance on the first floor of the Mid.
This is a corridor with murals on both sides, and the entrance to the public lounge of the Hochipach Academy is also in this place.
But now is the time when supper just ends, and the corridor is often filled with Hao Qipach's students, and Lynn obviously came at the wrong time.
So he did not stop and changed direction toward the entrance of the principal's office on the third floor.
Dumbledore was not in Hogwarts for a period of time after school started. He would not come back until three days before Linn got the time converter on September 19th. The stone monster guarding the principal's office no longer stopped Linn from entering and leaving the principal's office at will last semester.
After changing back to his appearance, Lynn entered the uninhabited principal's room and headed straight to the branch hat that was idle in the office to be eaten ashes for a year.
Lynn picked up the hat and tried to pull out the big sword of Gryffindor, but he still felt only air. He curled his lips and could only put it on his head.
“…”
The air was quiet for several seconds, neither the separating hat nor Lynn spoke.
They were like two swordsmen holding swords at each other and were fighting each other, silently changing positions, waiting for each other to reveal their flaws.
In the end, the branch hat couldn't help it.
"Oh! Oh my god! Why did you put me on again? Please, let me go, I don't want to see you again."
Lynn raised his eyebrows. This was his first time talking to the branch hat since he was in the branch office. Unexpectedly, it didn't want to see him.
"Why? I remember the same thing when I put on you the first time I put it on. Before I even touched my hair, I assigned me to Slytherin. I heard that you shouldn't consider the opinions of the little wizard when you were in the branch?"
"There will always be exceptional man, you are that exception... OK OK Lynn, don't put me on, and don't try to take out the Gryffindor's sword from me anymore. Gryffindor won't let you have it."
"Why?"
"What Why? How many whys? Why do you have to ask why?"
Lynn didn't say anything, just sat on the chair in the principal's room with a hat, as if he didn't care at all and wasted the trip with the branch hat.
He came here to find the Grade Hat to ask what Ms. Gray said to him, but now the Grade Hat's performance aroused his curiosity, and he wanted to ask them all clearly today.
About ten minutes later,
"Okay, okay, I really convinced you. You should know that I used to be Gryffindor's hat." The branch hat said helplessly.
Lynn nodded: "But you have such magic that is given to you by the four founders of Hogwarts."
"It seems that you have done a lot of homework, and your magic history must be great."
"You're Gryffindor's hat and then." Lynn didn't give him a chance to change the subject.
"Yes, although my magic was given by the four of them, I used to be a Gryffindor hat, so when I was in the branch office, I always leaned slightly towards Gryffindor, just as the qualities required by Gryffindor were so similar to those of Slytherin. When I encountered those unique talents and both colleges met the criteria, I would be more inclined to assign him to Gryffindor."
Lynn blinked: "Harry Potter's talent is enough to be called special, but I heard from him that if it weren't for his strong request, you would have assigned him to Slytherin."
