Chapter 34 Errors

The past in my hometown is complicated, but it is actually just an illusion of the person involved. To outsiders, it is actually very simple.

Originally, two people who care about each other and depend on each other for their own lives, conflicts arose because of a small matter.

Shuer was indeed wrong. He was so wrong. He wanted to protect his sister too much and was too idealistic. He always stood in front of her and solved all problems for her. Sometimes he even forcibly went against her wishes, ignoring her feelings and the views of others.

My sister was also wrong. She was really affected by the advice and believed that the hidden dangers mentioned by her subordinates did exist, but she firmly believed that Shuer would never do that, because Shuer would not hurt her, so she expelled the advice. However, in order not to let Shuer think about it and to hide her ridiculous suspicion, she made a wrong decision and used various means to hide the matter, but did not let Shuer know.

However, after Shuer accidentally learned about this through other channels, misunderstandings arise.

The experience of being with conspiracy and strategy has given Shuer the keenest sense of political aura. When he learned what happened, the first thing he thought of was - why?

In the past, you always told me like a joke. Why didn’t you say this time? Do you really think I would do this? Do you really think I have too much power and threaten your status? We two joined forces to overthrow that man’s brutal rule and save the family from the brink of destruction, but at the same time we also bear the original sin. Do you think I will overthrow you like I did back then and take the highest position? Why don’t you think, if you really want to do that, and have done it at the beginning, why should you push the clean you to the position of the clan leader of the family on the grounds of your deep sin?

No, of course you won't. After so many years, we two have always relied on each other. How could you doubt your brother for an unreasonable suspicion? This is ridiculous and I will never believe it. But if it weren't for doubting that I was ill-behaved, why did you hide this from me and choose to expel the adviser? This is not a punishment, but a protection for him. Do you think that I would be detrimental to him because of the reasonable advice he made out of loyalty? I am such a domineering person in your heart, so that you need to protect him by driving him away?

Impossible, Impossible, I must have thought too much, but... no, I need to be more cautious in the future to avoid her having such unreasonable suspicion.

Unfortunately, Shuer saw through others, but he still couldn't see through himself. He did not expect that when his sister realized that Shuer knew what she wanted to hide and therefore made some responses, the situation was out of control.

Why did my brother do this? He clearly knew it. Not only did he pretend not to know, but he also acted abnormally. He didn’t really have any ideas, no, no, don’t scare yourself, how could it be possible? My brother is my brother and will never hurt me. But... Should I test it a little to prove that I am just stupid random thoughts?

What does she mean? Why do she make such an arrangement? This is obviously targeting me. Is she really suspicious of me? How is that possible? She clearly knows that as long as she says, I can even give my life to her, why should I target me? No, maybe I misunderstood, well, I can understand it by tempting it, it must be a misunderstanding.

So, we tried again and again, and went deeper step by step, from when, after meeting, we were as polite as we met others, and when did we start to be on guard against each other? Haha, I really hope that we can trust each other more, even a little more.

"Brother, brother, are you listening?" Lisa's call woke Shul from the memories, blinked hard, and separated the images gradually overlapping with the memories. Just in front of her, the blonde girl was biting her lips and looking at him with a worried look on her face. When she saw him coming back to her senses, she breathed a sigh of relief, "It's fine, it's scared me to death. I thought brother, you blame me..."

"Sorry, Lisa." Shure touched the girl's head, and the soft touch of her long hair gradually calmed him down. "I just remembered a knot in my heart. Haha, I lost my composure for a moment, and I made you laugh at it."

Lisa shook her head vigorously and looked at Shuer with a distressed look.

"Haha, don't worry, I'm not that fragile yet." Shure regained his spirits instead, sat upright and said with a smile, "The past has passed, just seize the future. If you can't even adjust this little thing, then I'm probably forty early... Cough cough, I've been depressed until death eighteen years ago."

"Hey, my brother is saying that he is eighteen years old, and he is actually eighty." Well, I can joke, it seems that he has done a good job of self-regulation. Lisa tried hard to pretend that she didn't hear her brother's tongue. "The goddess sister told me that my brother was an eighty-year-old grandfather when he was in his hometown, but he was just a little younger."

"Hey, you are tampering with the oracle, and you are blasphemous." Shur said sadly and angrily, "As the Archbishop, do you deserve the teachings of the goddess?"

"Well, but this is following my brother's teachings." The girl tilted her head and stuck out her tongue at Shul. "It's all my fault that I changed the topic. My brother has heard all the things I said just now."

"Yeah, I heard it."

Fortunately, it was so good. Although it evoked bad memories from my brother, my brother did not blame me for being stupid and suspicious. Sure enough, it was the right thing to tell him. Lisa finally felt at ease: "So, brother, what do you think we should do?"

"We? No, it's you." Shure frowned and said in contemplation, "I think you'd better say it again."

"Hey." Am I really happy too early? Lisa was gritting her teeth in her heart. No, it wasn't her heart, it was really gritting her teeth, "Didn't you say you heard it?"

"Yes, I did hear you say a lot." Shuer nodded seriously and said seriously, "But you also saw my condition just now and didn't listen to it at all."

I'm not angry, I'm not angry, my brother is a bastard, I lose when I'm angry, but I'm really angry. Lisa feels that she's about to be angry, and finally muster up the courage to tell him everything, but he doesn't understand anything. Is my courage so cheap?

"Okay, I admit that I actually listened to most of the time, but because something was wrong just now, it is inevitable that some details will be ignored, so I asked you to repeat it." Shuer pinched the girl's face and suddenly became clear, "Thank you, Lisa, thank you for choosing to tell me."
