Chapter 46 Two people, one dance

Half an hour later, the drunk soldier gradually left the scene.

Everyone who learned about the dance party ran to the second floor early.

The tables and chairs here have been emptied, setting a wide space.

An old phonograph is placed beside the window, and the soothing and quiet musical melody flows out and echoes on the second floor.

The soldiers holding impure purposes looked at the ladies present with obscure and implicit eyes.

Some of them were unmarried field nurses, some were young girls carefully selected by local mayors, and some were civilians from the Strategic Science Legion.

They are like beautiful flowers, in a beautiful stage of budding, waiting for someone to pick them.

"Commander, I've always been confused."

Dugan, nicknamed "Dumbo", touched his beard and asked: "The final purpose of these guys is to trick women into bed, and they have no interest in dancing at all."

"Then why don't they directly point out their intentions? This will save time and jump directly to the critical step, and also spend more time on the places they should use."

"Dugan, tell me, did you put a gun on her head when you proposed to your current wife? Otherwise, how could she promise to marry you?"

Luke was joking while handing the wine glass to the other party.

Then, the young Allied general explained seriously: "Humans are very complex animals. In social occasions, men try their best to show their humor, just to attract women's interests and lay the foundation for further in-depth communication. Women also know what the purpose of men do this, but they enjoy it and call this 'good feelings', but in fact it is just the secretion of dopamine in the brain, which makes both parties urge to mating."

"You walk to any woman and say to her, "Let's skip all the steps before, go straight to the topic, complete the body fluid exchange, what do you think?" Then she will slap you cleanly and treat you as a naughty porn maniac."

"But another way, you go forward and invite the other person to have a drink, tell a few funny jokes, and talk about your experiences - don't care whether it's true or false, it's cool enough, and attractive enough. When the atmosphere is almost the same, you will ask to go to her room or ask her to visit your room! If you are strong enough, she will only snuggle in your arms afterwards and say to you emotionally, 'You are the best man I've ever met'!"

"Do you understand now? Dugan? If you are straightforward, you will be regarded as a hooligan, and you can only harvest prey by saying sweet words."

Damdan looked confused. He was lucky to get married back then.

"Luke, I really want to look at you with admiration. I didn't expect you to have such a high-profile argument. In the future, we can communicate and discuss more when we have time."

Luke leaned against the bar and saw Howard approaching.

This arms tycoon dressed up quite slutty, with a suit, vest, trousers, leather shoes, hair combed greasy, and two beards were carefully taken care of.

"You are more powerful in this regard. I am just talking about it on paper and have rich theoretical knowledge."

Luke smiled and admitted defeat. He was incomparable to Stark's family inheritance. He could not compare.

Howard nodded un modestly and generously accepted the compliment of the young brigade general.

As it turns out, one of the best ways to get closer between men is to talk about women.

Dam, who has always been prejudiced to rich people, was already known to Howard as brothers and drinks and talks with each other in just twenty minutes.

The former is very interested in the anecdotes of this playboy hooking up with Hollywood female stars, while the latter is a passerby who lacks a supporting role.

The two hit it off and chatted passionately.

"Steve, come and listen to Howard's live teaching."

Luke saw Captain America walking up the stairs and waved quickly.

Rogers has always had a good personality. After taking a cup of whiskey, he threw Luke's previous tricks behind him.

The four of them leaned against the bar, drinking while admiring the young men and women singing and dancing.

"Howard, why don't you go dance?"

Luke was a little confused. Howard, who was a romantic person, was actually willing to be a bachelor rather than having fun.

This is quite rare!

"A true master will always be the last one."

Howard touched the two mustaches and smiled faintly.

A few minutes later, he saw Carter climbing to the second floor in a red dress and outlined a beautiful curve.

He raised his hand to tidy up the bow tie of his clothes, picked up a glass of gin, walked over with a smile, and raised his head and chest.

"I bet he can only last for two minutes at most!"

Luke opened the market first.

"Five minutes!"

"Eight minutes!"

Dam and Rogers said respectively.

After Howard taught his experience, they all agreed that the other party was a veteran of flowers.

“Three glasses of gin!”

After Luke spoke out his bet, Howard returned to the bar in a dejected mood.

"drink wine!"

Six cups of gin were lined up, and Dam and Rogers were poured together.

"I... thought you were really a master."

Dam, who was tying his tongue and couldn't speak clearly, looked at Howard, who failed to offer, and looked contemptuous.

The latter hummed twice, but was speechless.

"At least I still have the courage to charge towards the iceberg, and you only dare to hide next to you."

Howard, who really couldn't find a reason, could only save face in this way.

"Steve, go and try it!"

Luke encouraged Captain America, but fortunately the other party would not get drunk at all, so he kept awake and shook his head and refused.

Even Howard, a love expert who claimed to have been wandering in flowers for many years and never lost, suffered a Waterloo.

A rookie like him is the one who can imagine the fate of him.

"Then Dugan? Hey, this guy fell down."

When Luke turned his head, Damn was already lying on the bar table and fell asleep.

"Goodbye to everyone, I'm going to find a young girl with a broad mind, bury her head in her chest, and soothe my fragile and young heart."

Howard, worthy of being a veteran of flowers, quickly walked out of the shadow of failure and looked at the plump girl sitting opposite her and waiting for the invitation.

Long brown hair, beautiful face, beautiful and charming, especially with a broad mind, it makes people unable to take their eyes off their eyes.

"That Rogers..."

Watching Howard go away, Luke turned his head to look at Captain America.

As a result, the blonde girl who took Rogers' first kiss walked towards him enthusiastically.

"So, I'm the only one left?"

Rogers left a sorry look and was dragged into the dance floor by the blonde girl, leaving Luke alone to lean on the bar, drinking alone and not drunk.

The night outside became deeper, but the second floor of the tavern became more lively.

"Don't you like dancing, Brigadier General Cavill?"

A cold voice sounded in Luke's ear. He put down the wine glass in his hand and smiled, "That's not, I haven't found a suitable dance partner, I can only stay here alone."

"Brother General Cavill, it seems you don't understand. Why didn't anyone come to invite you to dance?"

Carter, wearing a red dress and glamorous, picked up the spirits that Luke hadn't finished drinking on the bar and drank them all in one sip.

"Miss Carter, do you know the reason?"

Luke asked in a relaxed tone.

"I said you already have a scheduled dance partner."

Carter spoke loudly, but the fine sweat beads of her nose, the intense heartbeats like drumbeats, and the rich pheromones all betrayed her.

"I thought Miss Carter would hate people like me, just like you reject Howard. A frivolous and indulgent liberty should not be the type you appreciate."

Luke took a step forward, a smile arose at the corner of his mouth, and said, "Or, have you seen through my exaggerated surface and understood that I actually have a steady and profound connotation?"

“I just…love challenging tasks and love adventure.”

Carter answered the question irrelevantly.

"And, I wonder, are you going to treat me with a straightforward attitude or to confuse me with sweet words!"

Luke shrugged helplessly and secretly scolded Howard, the bastard, for betrayed him.

The couple looked at each other without any ambiguous atmosphere, and it was more like a game.

Both sides confront each other, and no one wants to bow their heads.

"Can you ask you to dance, Miss Carter?"

The young brigade general sighed in slightest, bowed slightly, and stretched out his hand.

The dance party was about to end, and he issued an invitation to the first dance.

The girl in the red dress bit her lip and put her hand into Luke's palm.

The gentle melody flowed like water, surrounding the dancing two people.
