Chapter 442: Strolling Elegantly

Come to London again and feels like a treasure chest, offering almost everything you can think of, endless restaurants, cafes, art galleries of all sizes, theaters, royal gardens and neighborhood parks, lectures that complement knowledge... The city never boresome.

There are endless museums and exhibitions here, beautiful parks suitable for morning jogging and naps, Michelin-starred restaurants with touching consumption, and exciting repertoires performed every night.

Come to a legendary hotel with a history of 180 years. At the end of the century, I walked through famous galleries, restaurants, parks and shops. Albenarle, a hotel in London, Alexander Bell made the first call in British history. This hotel is brown’s hotel.

The first hotel in London in history. In hundreds of years, countless legendary stories have been performed here. After the death of the famous poet Lord Byron, his inheritance was given to James, brown, by his wife, who was once a personal servant. The business-minded james purchased four contiguous houses on Dover Street and named them after their own name. In 1837, the first high-end inn in London was founded. A legendary figure like Byron was destined to have a legendary aura from the beginning.

In 1859, the hotel was resold to the Ford family, a famous automaker, which renovated the hotel and added various modern facilities: electric lights, elevators, bathtubs, and a smoking room and a public restaurant that was rare in the hotel at that time.

Ford bought the adjacent property and expanded the scale of the hotel. Soon this high-end inn was famous for its low-key and elegant style, creating a private atmosphere and classic British gentleman service.

2003     o     forte   The group took over the hotel, a high-end hotel that perfectly continued the century-old appearance and retained the exquisite original decoration, and began to flow with fashionable and playful fresh blood.

From royal nobles to literary tycoons, from Pulitz to Academy Award winners, as well as musicians, scientists and politicians. Over the centuries, the Brown Hotel has expanded to its wings and has now penetrated 11 George’s townhouses.

When I arrived at the hotel in London, I was attracted by the grand momentum of the glorious era of the empire in the main entrance of the hotel. The gentleman's doorman showed a gentleman look in his every move, and his strong London accent reminded me of the old housekeeper in Downton Abbey.

When you walk into the hall, many details in the hotel are worth pondering and stopping to appreciate. From the overall elegant structural lines to the smallest, every exquisite and fashionable ornament here demonstrates the extraordinary style and taste of the Brown Hotel.

The floral arrangement is particularly attentive and looks particularly warm under the light. There is also a special florist studio on the first floor of the hotel. Florist will add unique floral designs to the hotel every day.

When I arrived in the room, I received a welcome gift prepared by the hotel: a can of coffee and a small bottle of perfume. On the left is the unique access card of Brown Hotel.

We also prepare two handwritten welcome cards in English and Chinese. It is rare to receive such a heartwarming welcome gift in a foreign hotel.

When you open the refrigerator, there are all kinds of wines. The UK may be the most drinkable country in the world. Apart from this, no country can support the triple halo of beer kingdom, whiskey paradise, and wine-based consumer countries at the same time. I didn’t drink enough in the room, so I walked downstairs to the bar.

The right way to open London must start with British afternoon tea. There is no doubt that Brown Hotel has one of the best afternoon teas in London. The classically decorated British tea room was once the favorite place of Queen Victoria. All the decorations of the restaurant are the same as a hundred years ago. Imagine the nobles who dressed nicely here to have afternoon tea, like traveling to the set of Downton Abbey.

Wooden floors, leather sofas, dark checked seats, and compared to traditional British tea rooms, Donovan Bar presents a completely different visual style. 50 black and white photos hung on the walls around the bar, all from the works of famous British photographer Terence, which is also the source of the bar name to commemorate the best fashion photographer in Britain.

Tasting is one of the most popular bars in the Mayfair area, the cocktail list designed by legendary bartender salvatore calabrese is another big restaurant treasure.

Every Thursday and Saturday afternoon, there will be many stalls on the street somewhere: some sell fresh fruits and vegetables, small boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables are sold cheaply; some sell seafood and meat, the stall owners are busy picking up big crabs or glutinous rice to inspect the goods for customers;

There are those who sell flowers and green plants, and after buying vegetables, they can just carry a bouquet of flowers and plants to go home. There are even many vendors wearing aprons who fry hot dogs and fried big fries. Passersby several meters away will be attracted by the aroma. It is hard to resist the temptation to ask the apron vendor to add more sauce to themselves. There is also an upgraded market, which is also full of stalls, but it can be visited all day and is magical.

A paradise for fresh and literary antique souvenirs, full of leisurely and romantic bohemian style. It is one of the most famous and largest antique open-air markets in the world, gathering more than 2,000 small stalls. It is also the filming location of the movie "Notting Hill" starring Hugrant and Julia Roberts. Walk along the market portobello road, you can go to the travel bookstore in the movie "notting

The monologue at the opening of the movie is simply a true portrayal of this market: you can imagine that this is notting        hill, my favorite corner of London. There is a market here every day, selling all kinds of fruits and vegetables. There is also a tattoo shop. A man walked in drunkenly. After he came out, he asked himself wonder why he chose the pattern "I love ken"?

There is a barber shop here, and the hairstyles that everyone walks out look like the biscuit beasts on TV shows; and on weekends, more vendors suddenly pop up on the road, and you can line up to the door of Notting Villa, where you can see countless people selling antiques here.

The brick lanes in East London are often a street where all kinds of bloggers and art students come to shop for goods. From the inconspicuous hidden in the street to the underground retro market, you can always find different surprises. This is also a place where many young people in London like to run. Usually brick. There are several key points in the land: street graffiti art, independent music records, second-hand clothes, markets, and famous brands. It is not just a small lane, but it can accommodate many things.

There are many immigrants here, and their races are relatively complex. However, perhaps because of this background, brick    lane has a higher acceptance rate than other regions, and is more able to accept different personalities, no culture and styles, and the taste presented is even more extraordinary.
