Chapter 365

Strolling through the red sand slabs of the ancient street, climbing onto the ancient stage, looking at the shops and horseshops on Sifang Street, walking on the Yujin Bridge on the Heibai River, going to Xingjiao Temple to experience the temples that combine various schools of Buddhism, and listening to the ancient music of Shaxi Cave Sutra

Experience the charm of ancient music from ancient nations, watch the traditional Bai Wang Whip, dance the traditional Bai Zhara dance, listen to the girl from Shaxi singing a Bai tune, taste Shaxi local specialty ginseng, matsutake, and sheep milk cake.

This is the daily life of an ordinary horse gang in Shaxi Ancient Town six hundred years ago, where business and civilization flow. The horse stance of the horse gang gradually drifted away and finally disappeared into the tunnel of time. However, the sand gang was sealed by time in that era, waiting for the return of the horse gang.

Walking along the ancient road for about 100 meters, a village gate made of adobe appeared in front of you. This is the village gate called the street gate by the villagers, indicating that entering this gate is a market. The village gate is made of adobe inlaid and only two horses can pass by at the same time.

Dongzhaimen, Nanzhaimen, Beizhaimen, Wuzhaimen, to the west, close to Aofeng Mountain. Dongzhaimen leads to the Dali area, Nanzhaimen connects the south and west of the ancient town, and Beizhaimen leads to Tibet. Once you enter, you will come to the paradise on earth. When you go out, you will walk to the Ghost Pass.

Back then, the horse gang passed by the village gate. A narrow and deep ancient alley came leisurely. The old ancient shops on both sides stood quietly on both sides of the alley. A strong commercial atmosphere came to us, making it very lively.

Many houses on both sides are in the form of front and back yards, which can be opened and done business, and can also be received by customers. The permanent residences in the entire block are arranged along the south, north and east of the streets and alleys, layer by layer, and the alleys are divided, either three yards and one screen wall, four-in-one five patios, or corner buildings, front and back yards, with reasonable layout and staggered arrangements.

Every three days there is a street market, which is very lively. Horse gangs from all over the country go through the alley one after another through the alley one after another. The stage is a 2-night music, the Bai tribe whip dance, and folk song performance starts the day before the street. The performance lasts all night and lasts for two days. Locals call it two nights and two days.

During each ethnic festival, the Bai people in the town are dressed in festivals, playing the dragon head Sanxian, gathered in Sifang Street, singing and dancing on the stage, and people are surging and dancing on the street. The streets are crowded with people. In Xingjiao Temple, good men and women worship gods and Buddhas, and they are full of joy and auspiciousness. The Bai people are enthusiastic and hospitable, and the girls are good at singing and dancing, virtuous and beautiful. I don’t know how many love stories they have written with the horse gang men.

During the festival, the entire Shaxi River became busy. The sedan chairs used to make Buddha statues, the horses used by the prince to ride, the archway was set up in front of Xingjiao Temple, and the eternal lights were lit on the archway. Wherever the team went, each household set off firecrackers and threw rice and copper coins at the prince's horse.

The Cave Sutra Association and the Mom Association, many good men and women were extremely pious and prayed endlessly all day long. The whole ceremony was very solemn and cheerful.

Inns and horse shops are scattered in the streets and alleys leading to all directions. In order to go to a Buddhist event, those horse gang travelers who came from afar booked inns and horse shops early, washed away their fatigue by the Heihui River, washed off their horse tassels and whiskers.

After eating and drinking in the winery, I walked to Yujin Bridge to see the turbulent flow of Heihui River; led the horse to the horse shop to feed the grass; went to Xingjiao Temple to do a ritual; went to the ancient stage to watch the play; and had a love song with the girl in Shaxi and danced a dance.

Shaxi will remain in their memory forever.

Nowadays, Shaxi is gradually becoming lively. First, a group of scholars come here to repair ancient buildings, and then tourists who love the ancient town come here to enjoy the tranquility and peace of the ancient town.

Replacing the horse gang here, he came here with a sense of awe. Perhaps, everyone could not bear to disturb Shaxi. There was no commercial luxury or bustling tour group here, only three or twenty percent of the trip, and the years were quiet.

Next to it is Ginkgo Village. There are many stalls selling local specialties on both sides of the main road, all of which still maintain a simple rural style. Asbestos tiles and wooden boards set up simple houses, and stone tables serve as small tables; some people have corn at their doorsteps, while some are roasting suckling pigs, a rural life full of fireworks.

There is a 22-meter-tall Ginkgo King in the village with a crown covering an area of 145 square meters. He has been waiting for this peaceful mountain village for more than 600 years.

Everyone walked along the main road to the village, with fewer and fewer tourists, the whole world became quieter and more and more rustic. Some village women worked in farmland or in their own courtyards, and some children were playing.

Many small farmyards recommend secluded yards deep in the countryside. Sitting in the small yard, basking in the sun, peeling a few freshly roasted ginkgo fruits to eat. The green color makes people reluctant to eat. The hot ginkgo fruit is particularly soft and sweet and delicious.

When walnuts are dipped in earthen honey, the honey is as sticky as lard, and it looks like there is no addition, which is particularly authentic. The tea is also a local herbal tea with a hint of lemon, which is particularly refreshing.

Go deep into Gaoligong Mountain, which is full of green all year round, start a special vacation with hiking and surfing the stream, blend into the natural scenery of Jibian small town, walk through the mottled light and shadow of tropical plants, breathe freely among the mountains, and boil a pot of tea in the spring water.

The morning glow changes color in the sky, from pink to blue and purple, and is beautiful, with white morning mist slowly flowing among the forest, while the forest appears in the clouds and mist.

When I climbed the hot air balloon, most of the morning fog had dissipated, the sky was more visibility, and the colors were bluer and more transparent. Such a bright weather made people feel comfortable and looked forward to the world on the hot air balloon.

Flying up to the sky, the forests, meadows and people gradually became small, the white clouds seemed to be within reach, the air was surprisingly refreshing, and Dakong Mountain and Xiaokong Mountain also exposed the crater. This is really a magical world.

Dakongshan and Xiaokongshan are very close to each other, which is like a pair of twin sisters born together. Dakongshan is abrupt and upright, piercing the sky. From a high place, Dakongshan is covered with green grass and is spectacular.

Xiaokong Mountain is on the right side of Dakong Mountain. It is low and handsome, only more than 50 meters high, but the crater is very large, with a diameter of more than 150 meters. It looks like a huge pit. The surroundings of the pit are lush and lush, but the pit looks empty.

Around the crater, the pine forest is vast and the shade is like a cover. Someone is practicing Tai Chi in the forest. The music echoes in the mountains and forests. The light is soft and thin. People are relaxed and happy here.

Go down the hot air balloon and walk by the lake. The wooden rafts float on the clear lake, forming a huge water maze. Visitors bathe in the warm sunshine and step on the wooden rafts to explore the mystery of the wetlands. The wooden rafts make a creaking sound. The wind that caressed the clouds and aquatic plants swelled in the face with the fragrance of nature.

Stepping on a boat to enjoy the wetlands and lakes, the boats travel through the grass, shaking through the water waves and also cutting through the beautiful reflections of the white clouds. It is closer to the birds, and you can see them playing, pecking at their feathers, and catching food.

Push the slurry hard, and the grass defecation drifts away from the water bank. The grass rows are shallow haystacks, which are very soft when stepped on. Several grass rows can also fight water and chase each other. In the blue sky and clear water, laughter and joy ripples with the wind and flowing water. Here, the wind is free, you are free, and everything is beautiful.
