Chapter 324 Nether Lake

It’s not the first time I’m talking about sitting in a hot air balloon, but it’s still worth looking forward to flying around the prairie.

The hotel provides this service to fly into the sky before sunrise. The time is around 6 o'clock, and when the sky just lights up, the departure time is set at 4:45 o'clock.

This time it was a little different. When taking off, everyone needed to lie in the frame of the hot air balloon first. One hot air balloon could carry eight passengers, two in each grid. After lying down and pulling the handrail, the hot air balloon slowly lifted up. As the frank began to ignite, it slowly rose to the sky.

Looking down at the grassland at a low altitude, the sun woke the animals, and the bison was running in groups; Thomson gazelles gathered together to enjoy the food from the grassland; hippos even started a day's summer escape in the puddles.

The spotted hyenas chase gazelle and zebra from time to time, while the giraffe leisurely searches for fresh leaves. The day on the grassland begins like this, and fortunately, they also see a group of lions who have begun to rest after a night of hunting.

A large group of running warthogs, do you still remember the group in the Lion King movie, they are one of the Lion's favorite foods.

In the afternoon, I arranged to take a bus to visit the nearby tribes. The Maasai are still active in East Africa and are also the most famous nomadic people with a population of nearly 1 million. The main activities are in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania.

On the one hand, they still adhere to the traditional lifestyle, and on the other hand, they are more involved in the local tourism industry.

The Maasai people who live on animal husbandry are completely nomadic peoples, and they move in groups all year round, relying almost all on the meat, blood and milk of the animals for their livelihoods. Polygamy is more common. Men of the same age group can borrow wives, and livestock should be used as betrothal gifts for their marriage.

There are very few African women who are beautiful. They have not seen the legendary black pearls for so long. They always feel dirty and they can't wash them clean when taking a bath.

The villages are made of mud and arranged in circles. The rings are surrounded by barbed shrubs to form a large circular fence. Each village can accommodate 4-8 families and their livestock.

The traditional Marseille house is like an upside-down tank, with a small door opened, and people can only bend over to enter, so that the owner can easily assassinate the person trying to enter the house at home.

For a visit of $30 per person, the Marseille women dressed in Kanga, stood in a row at the entrance of the village and sang welcome songs. Whenever guests visited, the village, except for the elderly and children, all went out to start their welcoming ceremony with the unique Marseille welcome dance.

The men formed a semicircle, humming the rhythm in their mouths and began to perform the famous Marseille jump. It is said that whoever jumped the highest was the best warrior.

Originally, they thought that the warriors could live here were all brave and good at hunting, living in the grasslands and jungles, joining wild animals, and being good at hunting for granted. After contacting, they found that not only did not hunt, they even ate meat during celebrations, but also never ate wild animals, including fish.

The worship of nature keeps them away from hunting. The daily needs are provided by the milk and blood of livestock. When the mouth is dry, they pull out the sharp knife from their waists, pierce the cow's neck, and take a small grass tube and suck it, just like we drink a drink.

Really eating raw meat and drinking blood!

The man's bunch of clothes is actually two pieces of cloth with red background and black stripes, one covering his shame and one slanted on his shoulders. This kind of clothes look like a ball of fire, which is exactly the effect they want to achieve. On the prairie where wild animals are everywhere, such a ball of fire can effectively drive away wild animals.

Cows are the most important roles of the tribe. They do not eat vegetables, but only drink milk, cow blood, and beef. Every night, villagers will block the gates of the village with dead branches to allow the cattle to gather in the center of the village.

Women wear Kanka, wear a large round shawl on their necks and a circle of white beads on their heads. Their ears are big, and some have big ears to shoulders. Girls thorn their ears when they are born, and then gradually increase the weight of the ornament, making their ears longer and longer, and the holes become larger and larger.

Walking into the thatched hut, a ray of sunlight shot in from a small hole on the roof lit up the originally pitch-black thatched hut. It felt like the light was very special, and it felt like it was debuting in the C position.

The most pitiful thing is the child. A simple thatched hut, where more than a dozen children of all sizes gathered here. There were only two benches in the house, not even a table, and there were no books, paper and pens. The conditions were very simple.

Meeting is fate. Donating some money through a hotel is a little bit of my wish for the African people. If you travel to so many countries, Africa respects the Chinese people the most, and many countries directly enter the country without visa.

It may be because of the long-term help of poor black brothers. After all, we rely on these small countries to squeeze into the United Nations.

If there is really a River Styx on Earth, it must be Lake Natrolong. This seemingly still water area hides a deadly secret. There are many animal sculptures by the lake, and they are not masterpieces carved by masters.

Since there is a lot of saline in the lake water, as long as the animals drink the water in the lake or swim in the lake, they will slowly become petrified and then become sculpture-like stones. The lifelike appearance they see now is actually the last action they make before they die.

It can turn any animal touching the lake water into stone, just like the spell in the legendary story, so it is called a petrified lake.

As the water level of Natrolong Lake changes, the lake water color appears white, pink or bean green, and the shallow water area is often burgundy or brown.

The highly oxidized dry lake beach is bright red and blood-red, extremely magnificent and weird, as if it is filled with the breath of death.

In a dry land with a high salinity as the Dead Sea, countless flamingos are like fairies who do not possess the fireworks of the world, wearing pink feathered clothes, like fallen heroes chasing through the water, like morning glows reflecting the blue pond, thousands of flamingos turn Natrolong into a sea of fire with flaming storms.

Because the lake water is shallow and the lake water is rich in salt, it is suitable for the growth of many salt-loving organisms, such as blue-green algae, which are the foods that flamingos rely on for survival. In addition, the corrosive geographical environment at the lake creates natural fortifications, keeping carnivores away. It is said that almost all flamingos in Africa return here every year to give birth to as many as 750,000 offspring.

There are two famous migration events in the world, which are scheduled every year and repeat themselves every year. One is our Spring Festival travel migration and the other is the animal migration in East Africa. Although it belongs to different species of humans and animals, the migration purpose is different, both for the purpose of living or survival.

Wild horses are different from humans. They walk when they are born, and can even run when they are just around the ground. A weak new life faces the threat of death from the moment they are born, so they must learn to walk, run and survive in the shortest time.

Only by seeing it with your own eyes can you truly realize that crossing the river is a problem of to      be   or    not    to     be

The leaping of the horse begins with a tribute to life and the courage to survive. When they fall into the river, the real challenge begins.
