Chapter 36 Behind the scenes

The pin was pulled off when Gu Zheng was plundering ammunition equipment on the corpse after he was attacked. It was pinned on the collar of a corpse's underwear.

No one would pin a pin on the collar of the underwear unless the pin has any special meaning.

Those people did not have obvious signs or their identities. They were just killing moves, and it was obvious that they wanted to kill Gu Zheng and his party. But they failed to succeed, leaving some clues.

This pin was made of pure gold. The prince was shocked just by looking at the skull pattern on the pin.

“TCSS!”

"What?" Gu Zheng thought he had heard it wrong, "You said TCSS?"

"Yes!" the prince became serious, "to be precise, it is the Second National Security Bureau of the National Security Council."

"Second Bureau? Isn't that the Foreign Military Intelligence Bureau?"

"Yes, yes!" said the prince: "This pin is a symbol of the Operations Department of the Second Bureau of the National Security Commission."

"Is it mysterious?"

"Only people don't know!"

"How do you know?"

"Because I was from the Operations Department of the Second Bureau before!" The prince said seriously: "It's not just me, but Gaining too! He definitely didn't see this pin. If he saw it, he should know better than me. He only has one! Hang it on his chest!"

"Wait a minute!" Gu Zheng felt his reserves cool down, "You mean, we are not only being chased by BATF, but also being chased by the Military Intelligence Bureau?"

"If you didn't lie, that's right!"

Gu Zheng took a deep breath, "Are you wrong? We are not involved in foreign affairs, why are the people from the Military Intelligence Bureau chasing us and killing us? Because of tanks? But those two tanks have never even been released from the country!"

"I don't know!" the prince decisively denied: "But things happened. If you must know what's going on, you can only know when I contact Smirno!"

Gu Zheng "sneered" and stopped the off-road vehicle. He turned around and pointed at the prince, "No!"

As for what is wrong, Gu Zheng couldn't say it, but he just felt it was wrong.

After fleeing the pursuit yesterday, Gu Zheng had never had the opportunity to think about it carefully, but as soon as the prince spoke, he felt something was wrong all over.

The two of them escaped from the castle until they met Ganin and Natasha. The time interval between them was less than twenty hours in total. Then they were caught up by the BATF and the Interior Forces, and then the fighter shot them down on the edge of the no-fly zone. All of this was very closely connected, so close that there was no room for any opportunity to take advantage of the situation.

Anyone who is involved in a conflict is divided into several types: one is the vested interest party, one is the interest party, one is the referee or the seemingly calm side to persuade the fight, and the last one is the onlooker who watches the fun without much trouble.

This conclusion is not very accurate, but it can be used as a template. People in conflict events can find their own shadows in the above parties.

As for what Gu Zheng encountered, a total of five parties participated in the incident. Gu Zheng and Prince, as well as Ganin and Natasha who later joined them were one side. As direct conflicters, BATF was the second party, the internal affairs force tricked by BATF was the third party, the air force was the fourth party, and the no-fly area was the fifth party...

And the Military Intelligence Bureau, which party do they belong to?

First of all, they not only ambushed Gu Zheng, but also shot the National Defense Army soldiers in the No-Flying Area. Obviously, they were not watching the fun or were swearing. The Air Force and the No-Flying Area were wearing pairs of pants. Of course, the Military Intelligence Bureau was not from the fourth and fifth parties. As for whether they were from the Internal Affairs Force? They obviously couldn't pee in a pot. If they had the ability to compete with the National Defense Army in the No-Flying Area, they wouldn't be from the Internal Affairs Force.

All that is left is BATF and themselves.

It's even more impossible for them to do so!

Isn't this result equivalent to BATF bringing agents from the Military Intelligence Bureau to the no-fly zone? Is it because BATF people dare not enter the no-fly zone, so they called on friendly military intelligence agencies to intervene? Or is it because the Military Intelligence Bureau is the mastermind behind the whole matter and has been observing and mastering it in the dark. Seeing that BATF could not hold on, he didn't bother to reveal his identity, so he got out of the way and went barefoot to fight!?

Otherwise, how can we explain how these agents can accurately find the whereabouts of three people in the jungle of the no-fly zone? How could they be so efficient without prior information on the whole matter and meticulous reconnaissance and control?

After listening to Gu Zheng's analysis, the prince burst into cold sweat on his forehead.

"You mean, from beginning to end, it may be a game set by TCSS? Or is TCSS the force that Pulkinsi can't afford to offend?"

The two of them collapsed in their seats, yes!

The only national power of the Soviet Union can pose a direct threat to government units, besides TCSS, who else can be there? They are the most powerful intelligence agency in the world, no one, with hundreds of thousands of agents spread all over the world, from rocket technology to guns, as long as they want to intervene, there is nothing they can't intervene.

They already have the largest organizational scale in the world, and even the entire Soviet country is under their control.

Stupid! I didn't expect this.

Thinking about it this way, the most likely result now is that someone within the National Security Committee colluded with the BATF and wanted to use that batch of weapons and equipment. However, due to internal checks and balances, it is not convenient to take action, so they can only use the BATF. After finding this batch of equipment, they couldn't wait to kill and silence them, which is common sense.

But why should we be eager to kill people and silence them? But we cannot make a real deal.

Logically speaking, after all, they are killing their own people. Only by threatening them can they go to this extreme. Gu Zheng asked himself, is his actions threatening TCSS?

From beginning to end, he was just playing hide-and-seek with the BATF people. He never thought there was a TCSS black hand behind it. And they were always running away, where did they threaten TCSS?

The prince sat there and couldn't figure it out, "It's impossible! If TCSS wants to rebel, will it take so much effort to find a tank? We are responsible for the security of the entire parliament!"

Gu Zheng suddenly sat up, "I remember a phone number, I think it should be a clue."

He remembered the number Moji gave him. He later dreamed of the last three digits of the phone number. He wanted to give it a try, what if it was true?

He felt that the number should be important, otherwise he would not hand it over to Mojina.

Thinking of Mojina, Gu Zheng was a little confused for a moment. Why did he hand over such an important number to Mojina? Mojina looks neither a BATF nor a TCSS person, which should be unreasonable.

Another key point is his partner Yusuli. If the dream is a real memory, it means that he and Yusuli sunk a passenger ship with torpedoes?

This is a bit beyond Gu Zheng's values. What exactly is it that makes him attack the entire ship of innocent soldiers!?
