Chapter 833: Here Comes Again
"There is nothing here. At most, I can meet my wife. But this is a serious violation of the regulations. I think no one will do this. Maybe it's just relaxing and just taking a half-day vacation." Anderson looked at Pitt and said, "What? Do you want to try it?"
"No, I might have thought, but I gave up after you said that." Pete said as he saw Anna standing up and leaving the seat with her cup as if she was going to the tea room. Pete immediately stood up and said, "I'll smoke a cigarette."
"Go, brother. Our boring day has just begun." Anderson said, moving to the screen and stretching.
Pete came to the smoking room without any haste and happened to meet Anna who had just come out of the tea room. Anna saw Peter and smiled and said, "Hey, Pete. Come and smoke?"
"Yes." Pi Te nodded and took out the smoke and said, "Are you going together?"
Anna shrugged her shoulders and said nothing, followed Pit into the smoking room. Pitt took out a cigarette and handed it to Anna and did not light it.
"Just just finished?" Peter said after taking a sip of cigarettes, "I saw you still busy when I handed over the shift."
"My business is simple. Today's work is almost done." Anna said.
Pi Te nodded and said, "I haven't seen you go to the gym these two days, have you given up?"
"Of course not. You know that women have inconveniences for a few days every month." Anna said.
"Oh." Peter said in a daze: "Sorry. I'm not asking around."
"No need to be sorry. This is normal. I'm sure you're not only not married but also don't have a girlfriend." Anna said.
Pete smiled bitterly and said, "It can be seen from the profession I have done. If I had a wife and children, I would definitely not do this. To be honest, it is similar to going to jail here, except for having a good salary."
"Haha." Anna smiled and said, "You started complaining not long after you came? Then we are all crazy?"
"Can't you apply to meet your family?" Pete asked.
"Yes, but it just happened that I agree with what you just said was like going to jail." Anna said, curling her lips and said, "That's just visiting prison."
"Have you been there? I mean to meet with my family?" asked Pete.
Anna shook her head and said, "No. This makes me feel weird. I am staring at you and my family. It's only three short hours, only in the afternoon and must return before dark. What's the breaking rule? It's better not to meet me, and finish the current work quickly so that we can go home each of us."
Pete smiled and said, "But before I came here, I understood the rules and regulations here. This rule for meeting relatives is proposed by you, and everyone will discuss and decide."
Anna waved her hands and said, "I voted against it at that time, but unfortunately there are too few people who have the same views as me."
Pi Te nodded and said, "You should still meet your family. Even if you don't like this system, it's just a system. If you don't like it, it has nothing to do with your family. Don't be a complete bachelor like me, it's the same wherever you go."
Anna looked at Pete and said, "Of course I thought about this, but it's hard for me to accept someone surveillance on the side. That feeling is very strange. I also know that the person will not interfere with me, but it's not possible at all." As she said that, Anna sighed and said, "Actually, I really want to go back home. My home is in Los Angeles. Go home to see my grandmother. She is old and in poor health. But I just can't stand the feeling of being monitored by strangers. Maybe I should go see a psychologist or something."
Pete extinguished the cigarette butt and said, "Don't care so much." As he said that, he stood up and said, "Actually, my colleagues don't like this either, which makes them feel that there is a risk of taking responsibility. So if someone can go out with you, you shouldn't hate that person, but you should thank him. In fact, we are all for work." Pete said that and left the smoking room.
After returning to the monitoring room, Anderson immediately said, "You seem to be very familiar with that Anna?"
"No." Pete sat down while denying.
"It's better not to be too familiar with them." Anderson said: "We are forbidden to have too much contact with them."
"Understand." Pi Te nodded and said, "It's just a casual chat."
In the evening, before handing over the shift, to be precise, the staff here left for a while, Ford and Waynes suddenly arrived on the third floor again.
This time, Pete first discovered the two people who appeared from the elevator on the surveillance. He immediately took a photo of Anderson and said, "The inspection is here. Sit down."
Anderson was actually an old fry. He sat down quickly and checked the things on the table. After confirming that there was nothing wrong, he stood up and looked like he was about to go out for patrol.
"Anderson, Pete." Ford's voice came quickly, and Anderson looked at them with a surprise look and said, "Mr. Ford, Mr. Waynes."
The two of them just nodded and Ford said, "Show me the attendance." At the same time, the Waynes man looked at Anderson and said, "Take me to work and have a look. Hurry up."
Anderson nodded immediately, and after handing over the exam that Pete handed over to Anderson, he immediately took Waynes away from the monitoring room and entered the work area.
"Is there anything wrong with it today?" Ford asked while watching the attendance carefully.
"No sir." Pete replied immediately, "Everything is normal."
Fu De did not chew on the sound, but looked at today's attendance and said, "You have not been here for a long time. Don't think that this is a relaxed and pleasant place to retire. Otherwise, you will be transferred away soon, even if you have just arrived. Do you understand what I mean?"
"I understand. Mr. Ford." Pete said immediately.
Forde nodded and put down his attendance and went to the surveillance camera to look. This guy did not look at the surveillance screen, but checked whether the clarity and smoothness of each camera, and then checked whether the surveillance videos stored in the hard drive were complete. After seeing that there was no problem, he walked to the door and said: "If you find a problem, you must report it immediately. Wipe the table and screen clean. The gray on it made me feel like I was facing an antique from the Vietnam War."
"I understand." Although Pete didn't care at all, he said solemnly on the surface: "I'll clean it up right away."
