Chapter 652 Around

"I was about to say that." Pi Te nodded.

So Donovan looked at Faiz and said, "Can you take us around and see?"

"Around?" Fayiz asked strangely: "There are military camps around here, and you also saw it when you came."

"Let's see," said Pete. "Maybe you think we're too nervous. But it's actually our duty, and now we have nothing to do."

Fayiz nodded helplessly and said, "Okay. Then are you sure you don't need to know more about this?"

"No need." Donovan said with certainty, "That's what it is here. Take us out."

Faiz didn't say anything else, but waved to the old prison guard and walked out with Pete and Donovan, and walked out of the prison.

Outside the prison, about fifty meters apart are convenient for the land of the surrounding armed forces. Some of them are tents, and some occupy the buildings left on both sides of the road. Some vehicles, including armored vehicles, parked on both sides of the road. A further away, there are checkpoints about a hundred meters away. The people at the checkpoint seem very leisurely, with few people on the road, and no one wants to approach here. There are not many Iraqi soldiers who can be seen at this moment. It is estimated that when it comes to dinner, they can only see some Iraqi people wearing training uniforms who seem very leisurely without any weapons walking past not far away.

"Where do you want to see?" Fayz asked.

Donovan did not answer immediately but pointed to the tents and said, "Will we be placed in the tents later?"

Faiz looked over and nodded and said, "Yes. If you want to go, I can take you there immediately. You are with my people." He pointed to the east and said, "It's right there. Have you seen those armored vehicles? It's where the cars are parked."

Pete looked east, and about the corner of the east side of the prison wall were parked with the vehicles escorting them over. Several of Fayz's men were standing by the car chatting and smoking cigarettes. After seeing Pete and the others, they all looked over.

Seeing someone smoking, Pete immediately took out the cigarette he carried with him. After sending one to everyone present, he lit a cigarette for the old prison guard.

"Go and see where we live." Donovan took a sip of the cigarette and looked up at the sun that was getting lower and lower, "Don't you also eat dinner here?"

"Yes." Faiz said: "The cafeteria here is only enough to cook. Unless you are willing to squeeze in the narrow place." Faiz continued after smoking, "I will arrange it. But when you come out to eat, I'm already hungry."

"Let us take us to the east first. We'll have dinner after watching it." Donovan said, then raised his foot and walked to the east.

There were more than ten large tents sent in a row at the corner of the east side of the prison gate. These tents were not temporary, but had been set up long ago. There were four or five folding beds inside. Apart from the bed, there was only a large bucket of drinking water. There was nothing else. Apart from these tents, there was a long table, and at this moment, there were many Iraqi soldiers, namely those led by Fayz, sitting next to the table.

After seeing Faiz coming, these people stood up one after another, and after receiving Faiz's permission, they sat down again. To the south of this row of tents, there were a row of houses, which looked like they should have been shops, but now some have been converted into warehouses for each other's supplies, while others live in some people.

Pete pointed to the houses and said, "Does there be checkpoints at the entrances to these unexpected areas?"

Faiz turned around and pointed at the direction of the prison gate and said, "The only way we are on the passage is. Of course, there are also other directions. But they are all blocked. There are also sentries on the edge of the control area, including mobile patrol personnel."

Donovan looked to the east while listening to what Faiz said, "That area seems very empty. Is it the park I mentioned before?"

Fayiz looked at the place and turned to ask the old prison guard who was smoking. The old prison guard looked at the east side and nodded and said a few words.

"He said that the park was about one kilometer from here. The park was very empty and there was a football field inside. But it was already abandoned." Faiz said.

At this moment, an Iraqi man ran over and said a few words to Faiz. Faiz nodded and turned around and said, "Do you want to go to another place to see? My people are ready to get our supper?"

"Where is the meal here served?" asked Pete.

"West side." Faiz said: "There are a group of people who are specially hired to work."

"The ones hired? Not yours?" asked Pete.

"Of course not." Faiz smiled and said, "We are not in staff at all. There are no staff to do these things. Besides, people here also need work. Giving them these things and giving them some money is good for everyone." Faiz seemed to know what Pete was worried about, and after a pause, he continued, "I know you are worried about whether you will get into someone with ulterior motives, right? Many people have thought about these questions, so don't worry. Someone is staring at them, otherwise something will happen long ago."

Pi Te nodded and said nothing, "Is it just among the ruins in the west?"

"Yes. There are some complete houses near the prison, which are just right for use." Faiz glanced at the west side and said, "Do you want to go and have a look together? My people are going to pick up our supper."

"No need." Before Pitt could speak, Donovan said, "Let's go and see the north. Can you connect the main traffic route to the north?"

"Yes." Fayiz said directly: "From the north side, follow the road, go north after passing through the checkpoint in the control area, and you will go north to the main road about three kilometers. We will patrol the main road, and there will be checkpoints where you leave the city."

Hearing Faiz say this, Donovan nodded and said, "Captain, I have always had a problem. Although it may seem unnecessary to you, I still want to make it clear."

"Please say, Mr. Donovan. My mission here is to cooperate with you," said Faiz.
