Chapter 13 Money Changes Lives

Selling a house to treat diseases is a helpless, determined and sad decision.

My sister-in-law's family is not wealthy. After the couple was laid off, they opened a small shop. The business was not very prosperous. My daughter Huang Qian was in the second year of junior high school and spent a lot of money in the private middle school. Maybe the family had some savings, but it was just a drop in the bucket in the face of terminal illness. Now the couple is hospitalized and the other is nursing. The store is closed, and even the source of income is cut off.

"Uncle, a friend of mine is getting an injection downstairs. I'll go see him and come back later."

The little uncle nodded: "Okay, go and do your business."

After making up an excuse to leave the hospitalization department, Wang Zhuo went downstairs to find the hospital payment and paid all the 79,000 yuan he brought with him.

After coming out of the payment, an enthusiastic aunt kindly grabbed him and reminded him: "Young man, if you pay so much money at once, the doctor will pick expensive medicine for your patients, which is not cost-effective."

Wang Zhuo thanked the kind-hearted aunt, walked back strode back, and sighed to himself: "It's expensive, it's important to save people."

After finding my sister-in-law's attending doctor, Wang Zhuo explained his purpose and wanted to change my sister-in-law to the best single ward and use good medicine. It's as expensive as possible.

The attending doctor looked surprised and said, "If you use imported medicine, the treatment costs a few thousand yuan a day. Can you make the decision?"

Wang Zhuo released the receipt of payment of 79,000 yuan and pushed it to the attending doctor: "Help me transfer this to the patient's family. I'll trouble you to worry about the single ward."

Seeing the real payment receipt, the attending doctor stopped asking more questions and ordered the nurse to check the situation in the ward and said to Wang Zhuo: "I will re-prescription the patient immediately, and the ward affairs will be implemented as soon as possible. You can do it."

"Thank you, doctor." Wang Zhuo reached out and held the doctor with subtle force: "I'll come again tomorrow."

The doctor nodded and sent Wang Zhuo out of the door. He understood the meaning of it from the strength of Wang Zhuo's handshake. The red envelope was sent tomorrow.

After leaving the doctor's office, Wang Zhuo did not go to his sister-in-law's ward. He took out his cell phone and dialed his uncle's number.

"Uncle, don't sell the house for now. I'll pay some hospitalization fee for my aunt, which is enough for a while."

The little uncle asked in surprise: "Wang Zhuo, where did you get the money? How much did you pay?"

"I have paid 79,000 yuan. I will give the receipt to the doctor. He will hand it over to you. There is also red envelopes. You don't have to worry about it. I'll give it to him tomorrow."

My uncle was obviously shocked. Seventy-nine thousand is not a small amount. He knew Wang Zhuo’s financial situation very well. Where did he get so much money? "Wang Zhuo, how can we spend your money? Besides, where did this money come from?"

"Haha, uncle, don't worry." Wang Zhuo compiled the most popular and effective reason: "I won the money by buying lottery tickets, not only these, but also. Your nephew has won the jackpot. Please accompany your sister-in-law to treat you. We are not short of money now!"

My uncle was silent. From the moment he received the confirmation notice, he had already foresawed the result of his family's destruction. He refused to refuse this timely life-saving money.

"My uncle, don't worry about money anymore. Also, I asked the doctor to arrange a single ward for my aunt. Don't refuse. I'll go back to school first and come tomorrow."

After hanging up the phone, Wang Zhuo had already walked to the hospital door. He deceived others and reminded himself. He turned his feet and walked into the lottery betting station next to the hospital.

There are always people who say that the poor have the happiness of the poor, and the rich have the troubles of the rich. The rich are actually not happier than the poor. Wang Zhuo really wants to spit on those people's faces and shout at them: Rich people can be cured if they are sick, but poor people are sick and wait for death. Are you happy to die?

Life is so cruel. Money is not omnipotent, and money is absolutely impossible without money! Wang Zhuo just got tens of thousands of dollars and felt the benefits of money. Money can prevent my sister-in-law from lingering on the streets. Money can alleviate my sister's illness, and money may also save her life! And if you have no money, the hospital will immediately sweep you out!

So, Wang Zhuo doesn’t want anything now, he only has one goal, and makes money!

In the betting station, thick smoke was swaying, and a few old smoke guns were sucking in the clouds and the atmosphere was a bit dull.

Wang Zhuo clearly felt that the atmosphere here was different from other betting stations, but he soon understood that these people might be the families of the patients, and were overwhelmed by the heavy treatment costs, so he came to buy lottery tickets to try his luck.

Wang Zhuo found a chair and sat down. His body happened to face the scratch-off lottery box. He grabbed a scrap newspaper from the table and pretended to read it. His perspective eyes shot out sharply, looking for the winning lottery ticket.

There are many ways to play scratch cards, which are level-breaking, arranged, and logarithmic. Wang Zhuo looked down on those small prizes. He skipped them directly with the winning amount of less than 500. After half an hour, he finally found a big prize. He was very lucky, and it was a third prize of 20,000 yuan.

In this way, he gave up even a lottery that won a prize of 1,000 yuan, stood up and spent 100 yuan to buy a stack of lottery tickets. There were several of them in each game, including the third prize.

He took out a five-cent coin and sniffed on it. Wang Zhuo began to scrape the prize. After scraping the 20,000 lottery, he slapped the table with a bang.

This shot scared the people around him. Someone was about to say a few words to him, but he was already laughing: "Hahahaha, I won 20,000!"

The betting station was immediately frying, and it was rare to scrape out 20,000 yuan. Wang Zhuo was immediately surrounded by people watching the fun.

"Give it, give it!" Wang Zhuo unambiguously pushed away a few guys who were squeezed closest. Who knows if anyone would be willing to make money? It would be better to be more careful.

I handed the lottery to the boss of the betting station. After the identification was correct, the boss actually said to follow me and took him to a room locked with the security door in the betting station.

Seeing Wang Zhuo looking strange, the boss explained with a smile: "My store has a lot of traffic, so I made this one."

As he said that, the boss opened the safe in the room, took out two stacks of 100 yuan bills from it, and used a banknote tester to point out 16,000 yuan, and rewarded Wang Zhuo with the prize on the spot.

This surprised Wang Zhuo a little, but he soon felt relieved. If there were a few regular customers who played big duplex betting, the betting station would have to have tens of thousands of yuan every day. There was so much cash that really required some anti-theft measures.

In fact, what he didn't know was that this was also a source of gray income for lottery betting stations. After they received the lottery tickets from the big prize, they could sell them to civil servants who embezzled or accepted bribes. Those people laundered money in this way, and the gray income turned into lottery income, and they could be taken out and spent openly.

After raising the money, when he was about to go out, Wang Zhuo curiously looked through the safe, and found that he could easily see the corresponding position of the lock code inside.

In other words, the big guy weighing at least 200 kilograms and steel plates ten centimeters thick was an unguarded castle in front of him!

Wang Zhuo laughed at himself, but unexpectedly, he still had the talent to be a thief.

With envious eyes, Wang Zhuo immediately took a taxi after leaving the betting station, walked around for a while, found a bank to save the money, and then walked into the next lottery betting station.

In this way, he continued to take advantage of the victory and spent all day on scratch lottery.

But his luck was not as good as the previous two times. He walked through more than ten betting stations, only won one or ten thousand, and a few one or two thousand. Until he got off work at night, he only earned more than 30,000 yuan.

This made him somewhat dissatisfied. It seemed that buying lottery tickets was indeed not good, and it was far less likely to make money than gambling stones.

After thinking about it, Wang Zhuo found that since he had a perspective, making money has become easy. He won 5,000 yuan on the first day of buying a lottery ticket, won 80,000 yuan on the next day of gambling stones, and earned more than 30,000 yuan on the lottery ticket today. It's really amazing.

Wang Zhuo fell on the sofa and looked up at the gray ceiling. He could do a lot of things with money before, at least the walls could be painted.

Money cannot change everything, but it can change a lot. Antique TVs can be replaced with new ones, thick cotton coats can be bought in winter, and when you are hungry, you can order takeout, or even a big house!

With a happy life after being rich, Wang Zhuo suddenly remembered an important thing and sat up from the sofa with a shudder.
