Chapter 57 Crisis and Hope
Section 1
Everything was peaceful and relaxed during the last part of the semester. All the exams were over and the students had plenty of time to relax and do something fun.
One morning, Snape "inadvertently" told the news that Lupin was a werewolf, so in order to avoid Dumbledore's embarrassment, Lupin resigned and left the school.
"He almost killed us, Dumbledore." Snape explained to Dumbledore calmly, his eyes narrowed and his voice dragged long. "It is undoubtedly a dangerous thing to stay in school, and the facts prove it."
"Well, Severus." Dumbledore sighed, "Maybe the situation is not as bad as you think..."
"Not that bad," Snape hummed, his lips pursed tightly. "The boy is as brainless as his father, reckless and ignorant as long as Lupin is still in school, something will happen sooner or later."
Dumbledore and Snape looked at each other, and no one spoke for a while.
"I've been wondering, Dumbledore, that night..." Snape whispered, "who in the forbidden forest dispels those dementors-Soren, or are you?"
"In fact, that's not either of us, Severus," Dumbledore said calmly, "it's Harry."
Severus' pupils shrank suddenly, and he looked at Dumbledore in disbelief and hissed, "If I read it right, it seems--the Holy Lord!"
Dumbledore nodded, "Soren and I had a big fight over this."
"If it were me, I would!" Severus said angrily, gasping for breath, "That kind of power is not something Harry can control..."
"But he saved himself and his friends." Dumbledore shook his head.
"Even if he doesn't do this, nothing will happen!" Snape said confidently, "Don't think I don't know. Soren was there that night. He couldn't watch Harry be killed by the dementor. You, you knew this for a long time, but you still encouraged Harry to go back."
Dumbledore was a little surprised. After a long time, he said slowly: "You know Soren, Severus, you have lived with him for so many years." He looked at Snape frowning, "Soren will ensure Harry's safety, but I'm not sure Soren will save Sirius..."
"He deserves to die!" Snape said coldly, "If it weren't for him, if it weren't for his own cleverness, Lily wouldn't have died..."
Snape didn't say it, he took a deep breath, shook his head, looked painful and blamed himself, and the two fell silent again.
"I'm sorry about Harry, Severus," Dumbledore whispered in a sincere tone. "I didn't expect that to happen, but I still want to apologize."
Snape looked up at Dumbledore, his voice trembling, "Is there any solution?"
"As far as I know, there is no spell or potion that can do it." Dumbledore shook his head, "You can't really understand what that means without real touch, Severus. Once the flame is lit, it will never go out and will become stronger and stronger. When the soul is all ignited, most people will die, and a few will become cold and emotionally unconscious gods, unless..."
"Unless what?"
"Unless before all this happens, you can become strong enough to control the flame and turn it into your own power..." Dumbledore said calmly, "But it is difficult, but most of the few people who ignite the original fire are lost in powerful power and eventually fall."
Snape's face turned pale and his body shook slightly, "Well, how long will he have?"
"Ten years?" Dumbledore hesitated, "This is the most optimistic estimate..."
Snape took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He held the table and prevented himself from falling down...

Section 2
The semester is over and the students are all on the Hogwarts Express and return to London from the school.
Sauron sat in Slytherin's compartment, quietly looking out the window without saying a word. Isabella looked at Sauron with some concern. She was about to speak when Ibikos on the side pulled her and signaled her not to speak.
Harry's affairs made Sauron worried. He had experienced it personally. Sauron was very clear about Harry's situation. Snape had contacted Sauron and learned from Snape that Dumbledore's judgment, which coincided with his own ideas. In other words, Dumbledore's original intention was to hope that Sauron would do so.
The train was speeding, and the scenery outside swept back quickly, and the wheels hit the rails and made a clattering sound, clear but monotonous. Sauron couldn't help feeling annoyed, and the development of things was far beyond his expectations. Although he knew that what happened to Harry was not Dumbledore's intention, he still couldn't help but feel a little hatred for him, perhaps mixed with regret for being too confident at the time.
However, as Dumbledore said, everything has happened and the facts cannot be changed. Sauron knew that all he could do was face it firmly.
"I never bow to fate." Sauron looked at his reflection in the car window, as if he was looking at Harry, "My brother, I believe, neither will you!"
After the train arrived at the platform, Sauron found Harry. He was with the other Gryffindors, walking forward with jokes. Whether it was Dumbledore, Snape or Sauron himself, the three of them tacitly did not tell Harry the truth, because it was not yet time.
"Harry." Sauron called him, and Harry and his men stopped.
"Hi, Soren," Harry said happily, "We were just talking about the Quidditch World Cup, and Ron said Mr. Weasley could get tickets and we could go together."
"Oh, maybe." Sauron smiled, "I have something to tell you that I will have a lot of free time this holiday, maybe you can live in my place in half a month."
Harry's eyes widened in surprise, "Great, I don't want to stay at Dursley's house for a day. Can I go to your place earlier?"
"I'm afraid not." Soren shrugged, "You must live there for at least half a month."
"Oh, okay," Harry said, "at least before the World Cup comes, don't have to face the Dursleys all day long."
Harry and Soren said goodbye, and then pushed the cart with Ron and the others through the wall in front of the platform and returned to the Muggle world. Soren stood there, watching Harry leave, and sighed slightly.
"Your Highness, are you okay?" Isabella and Ibikos stood behind Sauron, and the girl asked softly with some concern.
Sauron shook his head and turned to Ibicos, "I need you to do a favor, Ibicos."
"I'm happy to serve you, Your Highness." Ibikos said respectfully.
