Chapter 225 The attack of the Vietnamese army

Chapter 225: The Attack of the Vietnamese Army

Chapter 225: The Attack of the Vietnamese Army

It should be said that the Vietnamese army chose the right place. This section of the road located in the countryside is not only narrow but also has buildings on both sides. Our convoy was trapped here and could not turn around. In addition, we were worried that it would accidentally hurt the people in the building, so the tanks also lost their function. The army launched the raid just right. At this moment, it was the time when the convoy turned along the road. The Vietnamese agents just blew up a car at the corner and easily divided our army into two and could not echo. Because of the obstruction of the building, we can only hear a sound of gunfire behind but can't see anything.

So I believe that if nothing unexpected happens, the Vietnamese agents can indeed end the battle and retreat within a few minutes before our reinforcements arrive. But what they did not expect is that... the real radar is not in the second half of the convoy!

Some people may say they will have another chance. After blowing up the fake radio station that destroyed the second half of our convoy, they can continue to attack the first half of our convoy. However, the problem is that they only have a few minutes, so the mistake of the offensive focus is doomed to fail in this raid...

"Start up and rush over!"

I am very clear about my current mission, which is to protect the safety of the cannon-aided radar. This mission determines that I cannot let the soldiers stop and rescue the trapped soldiers behind me.

"Yes!" Company Commander He was obviously very clear about this, and without any hesitation, he commanded the convoy of the front half of the troops to rush forward.

"Bang bang!" Without thinking too much, I grabbed the rifle and fired twice at the windshield in front of me. Then I raised the butt and knocked the glass in front of me clean.

"There are all!" I shouted coldly to the radio: "No matter who it is, as long as you get close to the convoy, you will be killed without mercy. Do you understand what you have to do with your own people and the people?"

"I understand!" The soldiers responded in unison.

It is a common method used by the Vietnamese army to disguise themselves as enemies. In their own country, the Vietnamese army would pretend to be Vietnamese people bullying our soldiers, and there is no need to say that in our country.

Sure enough, not long after, several dark shadows of civilians flashed out from the private houses and rushed towards our convoy. I didn't hesitate at all, and raised my rifle and knocked them down a few times. I was used to night battles during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and now it's not too easy to defeat several targets in the dark.

However, I soon discovered that things were not as simple as I thought...

"Boom..." With a few explosions, the bodies that were knocked down by me exploded with flames. Several soldiers in the car screamed and were raising the shock waves generated by the explosion. It was obvious that the Vietnamese agents charged with explosives. They did this not only to blow up our cars and radars, but the flames generated by the explosion exposed our entire convoy to the fire...

"Dadadada..." The gunshots quickly rang out, and in an instant, a bullet poured towards us from the houses on both sides, with the whistling sound of several rockets.

However, the accuracy of rockets is too low. It is difficult to hit a tank within a range of dozens of meters, not to mention cars with smaller and faster bombs. So although I watched rockets fly around in the air, I didn’t see any car being hit.

"Note!" I shouted loudly to the radio: "The enemy has explosives tied to them, so don't let them get close!"

Before he finished speaking, he heard a "boom" sound, and the car behind him turned into a ball of flame, and the screams of the soldiers also rang out.

It is a incendiary bomb, a burning bomb fired by a recoil-free cannon!

The next second I aimed the rifle at a window on the three floors in the front of the left. The recoil-free cannon fire has a characteristic, that is, a long flame will pop up from the tail. I noticed a red light flashing in the window before the car exploded...

Soon I knew that my judgment was right, because a guy carrying a recoilless gun flashed out of the windowsill. Perhaps because our car was too fast, he had no time to change positions, but what he didn't expect was... he had no chance to pull the trigger!

With a "bang!", a bullet flew out of his head. Even in the darkness, I could see a blood light splashing from the window. The Vietnamese army collapsed weakly, and then hung it on the windowsill like a dead fish. The recoilless cannon in his hand also fell from the upstairs like scrap iron.

"Bang!" A Vietnamese agent was shot down by me when he was about to throw a grenade out.

At this time, I hesitated for a moment. I couldn't be sure if there were any people in the house, but in the end I pulled the trigger the moment he threw the grenade. There was no need to say what happened next. A fire broke out in the room soon, and the things inside were blown up, and even half of the roof collapsed.

Maybe there are people in it, but next time I encounter this situation, I will pull the trigger and will not hesitate anymore. The reason is very simple. We are soldiers, and we shoulder the heavy responsibility entrusted by the country. We cannot sit and wait for death because the enemy has the people in their hands!

Although the reason is very sufficient, I still can't suppress the guilt in my heart...

"Bang!" Another gunshot was heard, and another Vietnamese agent fell from the rooftop like a wooden stake.

This time he was defeated by a rocket shooter. It was obvious that he had spent some time in the hidden spot. He even put a rack on his head and put a few pots of flowers. At first glance, he could not have imagined that there was still a person hiding there. But what he could not have imagined was that the rocket he fired would drag a long tail behind, and the end of the tail pointed directly at his hiding place.

The soldiers also beat the weapons in their hands and made a loud bang. We were ready for battle long before we set off, so we could deal with them calmly even if this kind of emergency occurred. It was just that the car's target was too big, and the enemy was in darkness and we were in light, so the casualties were much greater than what we imagined.

"The village entrance is ahead!" At this time, Company Commander He's report came from the radio.

When I looked forward, I saw that there were fewer and fewer houses in front of me, two or three hundred meters away, and there was an open area. The situation was obvious. As long as we arrived at the open area, the Vietnamese agents could no longer do anything to us. So whether it was the tank driving in the front or the car behind, they all stepped on the accelerator and rushed forward...

However, I knew that things would never be so simple. This trap carefully laid by the Vietnamese agents would not make us break through so easily, so I hurriedly shouted to the radio: "Be careful of ambushing! Slow down the speed..."

But it was too late. Before I could finish my words, a jeep suddenly rushed out of the side of the village entrance. The 59 in front of me could not care about any jeep, and pressed it without thinking... With a creaking sound, the jeep was quickly pressed into meat pie with the driver. However, before the soldiers could react, they heard a loud "boom" sound, and the tank was surrounded by the flames...

Of course, the Vietnamese agents also knew that the jeep could not block the tank, so the jeep was filled with explosives, and the weakest position of the tank armor was the bottom, so everything happened naturally.

"Squeak..." With the sound of emergency brakes, all the cars stopped at the entrance of the village. The tank that originally opened the road for us in front now blocked our only way out like a dam.

"Grenade!" I yelled, and without saying a word, I ignited two grenades and threw them at the house beside me.

At this time, I had no time to care about whether there would be civilians there. I only knew that we were trapped here and could not move. If there were another group of Vietnamese agents in the residential houses on both sides, we would have to wait for death here.

The soldiers were quick to think that they would ignite grenades without a moment of pause and threw them into the house. The machine gunner also picked up the machine gun and fired them into the house without saying a word... They just flashed out of the window and knocked them into the house into sieves. Then there was a burst of "boom" sounds, and the house was instantly blown into ruins.

The plan of the Vietnamese agents was indeed very strict, but what they didn't expect was that we would be faster than them. In addition, the houses on this section of the road were all wooden houses and had no defense at all, so we took the initiative. I really couldn't imagine what would be if we were one second late...

"Organize defense! Siege the radar in the middle!" I didn't have time to appreciate the victory I just created. Now we won a second faster, and it is very likely that we will be wasted all because of delays for a second.

The soldiers all rolled over on the battlefield, and of course they knew this, so some hid under the car, some set up guns on the ruins, and a line of defense was organized in just a few seconds!

All we have to do is to withstand the attack of the Vietnamese army for a few minutes and protect the artillery radar until the reinforcements arrive. So now, both for us and for the Vietnamese army, it is time to race against time.

I thought the Vietnamese army would immediately attack our defense line, but they did not. The gunshots and explosions in the rear were still there, and occasionally there would be a few heart-wrenching screams. It was obvious that the battle there was not over yet.

Half a minute passed, one minute passed, two minutes passed... I couldn't help but frown. Could it be that the Vietnamese army has not launched an attack on us?
