Chapter 169 Training Program

Chapter 169 Training Plan

Chapter 169 Training Plan

Although our holiday lasted for three days, I, the captain, was not that comfortable because I had to participate in the team's organization, equipment status and training plan formulation. So although I was not willing, I was still worried about it in the camp department under the order of Liu Shunyi, following a lot of documents, rosters, equipment lists, etc....

While looking at me, he cursed: Liu Shunyi, he did all these work when he was under my command, but now... it turned out that he ordered me to do it!

But no matter how much I think about it, my subordinates dare not neglect it. After all, this is my own army. No matter what, I should understand them. As the saying goes, only by knowing someone who knows you can never stop fighting. If you want to achieve good results on the battlefield in the future, the first thing I have to do is to understand myself.

Needless to mention logistics and equipment, our country is so big that it is poor, but it is still more than enough to provide a battalion of special reconnaissance brigades. In the equipment list, I saw a lot of gun models, such as akm, ppk, m16... China's own products, the Soviet Union's, and the Americans'.

The Americans' equipment photos were left to the Vietnamese when they evacuated from Vietnam. Now I will pay them for us! But I can't consider American equipment, so I crossed them off the list without thinking.

The reason is very simple. Although American equipment is better than Soviet equipment in terms of accuracy and range, it has a fatal disadvantage that it cannot adapt to such harsh climate in Vietnam. A gun that is likely to not be fired at critical moments, no matter how high the cost is, it is not suitable to equip our troops. Because this will make us not only worry about the bullets flying by the enemy when we are on the battlefield, but also worry that our own bullets cannot fly out...

What's more, the bullets used in American equipment are different from those used in the standard weapons used by our army. If we use American equipment to train, there is a very likely problem in the future - if we don't have ammunition on the battlefield, even if we get reinforcements from other troops of our army, we can only stare at each other!

So it is easy to confirm one thing, that is, the main use of Soviet equipment is domestic equipment. As for why it is mainly Soviet equipment... This is not actually a way of advocating foreign countries. All soldiers who have fought in Vietnam know that our guns look similar to Soviet guns, but the difference is big when fighting. Either this is bad or not, it is a common thing to get stuck. Submachine guns can sometimes explode... Not to mention other things, the difference between the bullets is very big. Vietnam's climate is stuffy and humid. Domestic bullets rust after being transported on two days, and the bullets we seized from the Vietnamese devils are still very bright...

Of course, in addition to standard equipment such as ak47, other weapons must be learned to use, special forces... If a few American equipment was seized from the Vietnamese army while performing a mission without using it, that would make people laugh.

As for the source of troops, I felt a headache when I saw the stack of archives on the table. I didn’t know who came up with the idea. The files in front of me were the detailed files of hundreds of people under my command. This not only included their performance on the battlefield, but also their educational experience, rewards and punishments, and even those soldiers who stole things when they were young were recorded clearly.

But this seems normal. We are a secret force, right? So we must investigate the identity and information of members clearly in case any Vietnamese agents sneak in.

When I saw these information, I was a little curious - what would my information look like? By the way, when I came to this time and space, I have always borrowed other people's bodies, and I still don't know what kind of person this "self" is!

So I dug out the archives of "Cui Wei" from the pile of information. Like most people in China, I also came from a peasant family and originated from Zhejiang. What surprised me was that the words "Captain of the Red Guard" were written on the archives of the middle school.

Damn! I have also been a Red Guard? And I am also a captain...

"Captain Captain Cui!" Political Commissar Yang saw that I was looking through the information, so he walked to me with a cup of tea and said, "You are still satisfied with the soldiers under your control! This time we are electing soldiers, of course, it is the first thing to do is to see the performance of this battle on the battlefield! So don't worry, none of these soldiers have been tested by the battlefield!"

"Yeah!" I nodded. Actually, I also think that this method of selecting soldiers is the most scientific. Some soldiers perform well in training and may be a coward on the battlefield. On the contrary, some soldiers perform mediocrely during training and may even perform very bravely on the battlefield.

Didn’t someone say that? The battlefield is the most realistic and objective weapon to select weapons. It will eliminate bad soldiers in the most realistic and objective way... but the method of elimination is just a bit cruel!

"Political Commissar Yang, Cui... Battalion Commander!" At this time, Lin Xue came to us with a document, looked at me unnaturally and said, "This is my newly drafted initial training case, not very complete. Let's see what's wrong with it!"

Lin Xue has really changed a lot. Looking at her like this, I couldn't help but sigh in my heart: She is no longer the way she used to be, she is bold and arrogant no matter what she does, and now she looks more mature, but at the same time she has a little hesitation...

"I don't think I need to read it!" Political Commissar Yang laughed and said, "Where are any problems with the training plan you have planned! Who doesn't know that the top reconnaissance brigades in our army are your masterpieces!"

But no matter how much he said, Political Commissar Yang took over the file and started to turn it over.

After hearing what Political Commissar Yang said, I realized that Lin Xue was so powerful that she was specialized in training scouts... It was not easy for her female soldier to do this, so no wonder her superiors sent her to be a staff officer in training our troops.

"Yeah! Not bad!" Nodded while looking at Political Commissar Yang, "Think very carefully! Comrade Lin Xue, it seems that you are also very knowledgeable about the Vietnamese army's combat methods!"

"Where!" Lin Xue smiled: "I just collected some information from the soldiers before coming, and then made some targeted training methods. Speaking of my understanding of the Vietnamese army, I can't compare to Cui... Battalion Commander, a hero who has personally gone to the battlefield!"

"Captain Cui..." Perhaps because he heard Lin Xue's words, Political Commissar Yang put the documents in front of me and said, "I can't see any problem, you can take a look!"

I smiled modestly, took the document and flipped it out. The beginning of the article was about the characteristics of the Vietnamese army's attack and defense operations, such as the Vietnamese army's fortifications, the types and characteristics of mine layout, as well as the Vietnamese army squads and platoon attack and harassment operations, etc. Each category was classified and explained in detail, such as the defense fortifications, such as the A-shaped fortifications, T-shaped trenches, Y-shaped fortifications, tunnel fortifications and castles, etc....

It can be seen that Lin Xue has made a lot of hard work in this regard. Even the soldier who came down from the battlefield cannot tell what a-shaped fortifications and t-shaped fortifications are. However, she can classify these in detail and draw sketches.

Seeing this, I couldn't help but look at Lin Xue unexpectedly. When she followed me to fight, I really didn't realize that she had such talent. But then again, she has been a senior principal since she was a child and received these military, strategy, plans, and other education, so it seems normal to have these abilities.

I looked at Lin Xue like this and seemed to be very helpful. Although Lin Xue still pretended to be calm, I still caught a little smile from the corner of her mouth.

I know her, and she always has this expression when she feels accomplished, but now she is more restrained.

Let’s look down and see the terrain and climate characteristics of Vietnam. Then, some training plans were formulated based on the characteristics of the Vietnamese army, such as grabbing, fighting, climbing, armed swimming, map recognition, mine clearance, driving and other subjects.

Seeing this, I couldn't help but frown. Lin Xue noticed this sensitively and asked from the side: "Capital Commander Cui, do you think there is something wrong with the training plan?"

"Um!" I shook my head and replied, "Question? No problem. These trainings are of course necessary, but... our special reconnaissance brigade... is this the only thing we train?"

"What else do you need?" Political Commissar Yang asked a little strangely: "I think it's very good. Our scouts are also trained in these subjects! Of course, when we are conducting these trainings, it is targeted, which is different from ordinary reconnaissance forces!"

"Then we..." Then I said hesitantly: "What mission should we complete when we train this special reconnaissance brigade? Or should we take on reconnaissance missions like ordinary scouts?"

"It's not just a reconnaissance mission!" Lin Xue replied: "It's mainly about responding to the infiltration and harassment of Vietnamese agents, as well as conducting agent activities deep behind enemy lines, and of course it may also be reconnaissance!"

"That's right!" I nodded and asked, "Since we are going deep into the enemy's back, why don't we need to learn Vietnamese?"

I remember when we were in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, our scouts could get involved in the puppet army and talk to the puppet army after just a few months of study without being recognized. So if our special reconnaissance brigade does not have this skill, then it would be called "special".

"And..." I said in a striking manner afterwards: "Since you are going deep into the enemy's back... the most convenient and fastest means of transportation is helicopters, why not cooperate with armed helicopters?"
