Chapter 2 Adventures at the Bottom of the Pool

Wang An was extremely frightened, and he moved his body carefully.

Suddenly, he felt a burst of severe pain coming from his shoulder. He knew that he was pecked by the strange bird. Fortunately, his left shoulder was just broken and he could move.

But every movement involves the injury on the shoulder and the pain falls into the bone!

Wang calmed down, looked around, and combined with the memories of the moment before he fainted, he knew that he had been caught back into his nest by the strange bird as prey.

After the white-browed eagle cubs were full, several of them crowded together and squinted their eyes to sleep.

Wang An looked at the cub with his eyes closed and thought to himself, I must escape now, otherwise I will become a ration for the bird; and I don’t know when the female bird will come back.

"Damn flat-haired beast!" Wang An looked at the chicks and said gritting his teeth.

Wang An didn't dare to delay, so he found a corner that was easier to climb and climbed up carefully.

The deep blood marks on his left shoulder were still bleeding, and every climb was heartbreaking pain, but the desire to survive still prompted him to keep climbing up.

I don’t know how long it took, Wang An finally climbed out of the huge bird’s nest. He lay on the edge of the bird’s nest, gasping heavily, and his pale face was filled with joy of victory.

Half of his body was covered with blood, and a strange purple light was emitted under the sunlight.

When he gasped and looked around, he was stunned for a moment, his expression seemed to have eaten a dead fly.

It turned out that the bird's nest stretched out from the cliff; at this moment, just below the edge of his lying, there was a cliff with white mist under the cliff, and it was so deep that it was not far behind.

Extreme happiness leads to sorrow. The most tragic thing in life is this. After going through a lot of hardships, I thought hope was within reach, but in the end I was still desperate.

"Chir...".

At this moment, a sharp cry came from the distant sky.

Hearing this sound, Wang An's body shook all over the ground and returned to normal. However, his face became paler and a hint of fear appeared on his face.

"Damn beast..." Wang An murmured as he looked at the scars on his body, with a bitter look on his face.

He looked up at the gray shadow that was gradually diminishing in his pupils, and smiled bitterly again: "Instead of being eaten by this flat-haired beast and having no bones left, it is better to jump down to seek a glimmer of life."

He looked at death with a look of death, and tried hard to stand up, jumped off the cliff.

He had a lot of reluctance and attachment on his face...

The whole process is complicated, but in fact it is just a blink of an eye.

"Chirp~chirp~" A hurried cry came from the horizon.

The white-eyed eagle had already found that his prey had run away and was rushing over. However, it was too late, and Wang An's body was covered by white mist in a blink of an eye.

The white-eyed eagle swooped down, but stopped the diving momentum at the edge of the white mist. Its huge carved eagle was blood red, and it kept hovering, crying, angry and impatient above the white mist.

He said in two ways, but Wang An looked unwilling at this moment, and the wind was gushing in his ears; he closed his eyes in despair and let his body fall down...

It seemed like a blink of an eye, and it seemed like a long time had passed.

A loud "pa~" came from behind the lingering clouds and mist.

Wang An felt a sharp pain and suddenly lost consciousness. In the last moment, he felt as if he had fallen into the water.

It turned out that there was a deep pool under the cliff.

However, for Wang An at this moment, there is no difference between falling into the water and falling on land. Even if he doesn't die, he is about to drown.

Due to the violent impact, the wound on his shoulder kept bleeding, dyeing a large area of red in the water; the semi-coagulated blood floated to the bottom of the pool with him, and climbed to the bottom of the pool with a rotten flowing across the bottom of the pool, and swam beside Wang An.

"Human?"

It murmured for a moment, and its mung bean-sized eyes turned rapidly.

When it saw the faint light flashing of the rotten leaves under Wang An, the pair of mung beans opened their eyes wide and showed a very humane look of shock.

"Is it..." It quickly raised its front legs and pushed Wang An, and then quickly dug up its forelimbs there.

"It turns out to be...hahaha, Grandpa Turtle finally waited! Hurry up, don't let this bastard die."

The place where the turtle was digging was a pentagonal pattern composed of several strange lines, which seemed to have been carved under the pool; the pattern had a trace of solidified blood on it.

The turtle dragged Wang An to the side, causing the blood from his shoulder to fall on the pattern.

As soon as his blood fell on the pattern, the pattern shone brightly and covered five corners at once.

"Swish" a dazzling light flashed, losing the traces of the turtle and Wang An.

The pattern gradually disappeared, as if nothing had happened, only the bloodstains proved that these things were real.

I don’t know how long it took, but Wang An woke up.

He felt itchy on his face, as if something was crawling on it.

When he opened his eyes, he saw a golden turtle crawling around his face. He was startled and shouted, "What kind of monster is this? Am I dead?" Then he threw the turtle out one after another.

"You are the monster, you, Master Turtle, I am a real ancient beast." The turtle said arrogantly on the ground.

Wang An, who had just stood up, fell into the pool again, and it turned out that he was lying in a pool now.

"You, you, how could you speak?" He looked shocked and afraid, and stammered at the tortoise lying beside the pond.

"You're stupid, little bastard. Any spiritual creature who has achieved success in practicing Taoism can speak, why can't I?" The turtle looked at Wang An with contempt.
