53. Strange

As soon as I walked into the yard, I heard the people inside say again: "Boy, you are right. All the laity masters like quietness and elegance. I chose to live here for the sake of purity, but not for the sake of practice, but just to sleep peacefully."

Yao Guangqi was stunned for a moment. Didn’t this old man sleep just now? How did he know the conversation between him and Zhu Di? The place where he spoke at that time was several miles away. Could he be so happy? Could he be really a god?

Yao Guangqi walked along the path in the courtyard towards the main house, but as soon as he reached the middle of the courtyard, he heard the voice saying, "Come to the east wing."

Yao Guangqi then turned right and walked to the east wing door. He was about to knock on the door when the door actually opened by itself. The voice "Come in" came from inside the room.

Yao Guangqi stepped into the house. The light inside the room was a little dim, but Yao Guangqi's eyes quickly adapted. The room was not big. He swept his eyes and finished reading the situation inside the house. All the walls of the house were leaning against bookshelf. The bookshelf were filled with books of different heights. There was a big bed opposite him. There was a Taoist priest sitting on the bed. There was only this Taoist priest in the room. Yao Guangqi naturally focused his eyes on the Taoist priest. Yao Guangqi was squinting his eyes and planning to see more clearly. Then he listened to the Taoist priest saying, "You can see clearly when you come over."

Yao Guangqi blinked, walked forward two steps, and came to the bed. The Taoist priest slowly opened his eyes, looked at Yao Guangqi, and then closed his eyes, but just after closing it, it suddenly opened again. This time his eyes widened, as if he was looking at Yao Guangqi very hard. His eyes seemed to have penetrating power, which made Yao Guangqi feel uncomfortable all over. Yao Guangqi felt that he had been seen through. But the Taoist priest just looked, but said nothing.

After watching for a long time, the Taoist priest closed his eyes again, and this time he closed his eyes for a long time. During this period, Yao Guangqi did not move, and he did not say a word. Yao Guangqi judged that this Taoist priest should be Yuan Gong's master, the paradise who was regarded as a god by Zhu Di and respected by Xiu Guang as a god. Yao Guangqi only knew that this master had a strange temper, so he was deliberately cautious in his words and deeds.

After a full quarter of an hour, Yao Guangqi's legs were sore. The Taoist priest had no intention of opening his eyes. Yao Guangqi felt uncomfortable all over and unconsciously tilted his neck slightly. At this time, the Taoist priest suddenly spoke: "Come here."

Yao Guangqi was stunned, but then took a step forward like an amnesty. This step had already arrived at the bedside. The Taoist priest still didn't open his eyes and said slowly: "Squat down"

Although Yao Guangqi didn't know what the master in front of him was going to do, he still squatted down. The Taoist priest slowly stretched out his hand and touched Yao Guangqi's head. Yao Guangqi had always hated others touching his head. No matter who it was, even King Yan Zhu Di and Yao Guangqi were no exception. But facing this Taoist priest at this moment, Yao Guangqi did not resist, and he had never thought of resisting. He just felt a little strange, why did this master touch his head.

The Taoist priest's palm was completely pressed on Yao Guangqi's head. He touched it very carefully, from his forehead to the top of his head, and then to the back of his head, and then touched both sides for a long time.

After touching, the Taoist priest did not stop immediately, but sighed, opened his eyes, and then took his hand away. He stared at Yao Guangqi very seriously. After watching for a long time, he sighed again, and then whispered: "You go out first."

Yao Guangqi became even more confused. The master left Yan King and Yuan Gong outside and asked him to come in first. After coming in, he didn't say anything. He touched his head for a long time and then let himself go out. But the master in front of him didn't seem to be teasing him. This might have a deep meaning? So Yao Guangqi just nodded slightly, said nothing, stood up and turned away.

Before I could reach the door, I suddenly heard the Taoist priest say, "Aren't you curious? Why did I let you in and let you go out if I didn't tell you anything?"

Yao Guangqi turned around, bowed and replied respectfully: "I think the immortal master must have a profound meaning when doing this. If he is not talented, he dare not speculate rashly. If the immortal master is willing to teach, he will listen carefully to the training."

The Taoist priest closed his eyes and said softly: "Go down first."

Yao Guangqi retreated out of the door. As soon as he arrived outside the door, he heard another distant voice from the room: "Please enter the King of Yan."

Zhu Di and Yao Guangqi passed by. Zhu Di opened his eyes wide and asked Yao Guangqi with his eyes. Yao Guangqi shook his head slightly, and the two of them went wrong.

Unlike Yao Guangqi, Zhu Di stayed in the Taoist priest's house for a long time. Half an hour passed, an hour passed, until the sky was completely dark, and Zhu Di had not come out. Yao Guangqi was a little tired, sometimes moving his feet slightly, and evaporating his muscles and bones, but Yuan Gong did not move at all within this hour, standing straight like a wooden sculpture. Yao Guangqi stood beside him, and he noticed that the only thing that moved Yuan Gong's whole body was the smooth ups and downs of his chest, and occasionally the breeze blew by and blew the corners of his clothes.

After a while, the window of the east wing suddenly lit up. Yao Guangqi knew that the lights were lit in the room, but no figure appeared on the window paper. Zhu Di still did not come out. The coolness of the night gradually became heavier, and Yao Guangqi even shivered. He couldn't help but pace back and forth to warm his body. He noticed that Yuan Gong beside him was still motionless.

After a long time, Zhu Di finally came out. His steps were a little slow, but not difficult. He seemed a little tired, but not listless. Zhu Di came outside the courtyard and wanted to stretch his waist unrestrainedly. At this time, Yao Guangqi's gaze also came. Zhu Di walked to Yao Guangqi, patted Yao Guangqi's shoulder with a smile, and then nodded.

Yao Guangqi was not sure about the meaning of Zhu Di's move. Just as he was about to ask, he heard the voice inside come out again: "Come in, apprentice."

Yuan Gong finally moved. This was the first time Yuan Gong moved in two or three hours since Yao Guangqi came out of the house. Although he stood for a long time, Yuan Gong's steps still seemed so powerful.

Yuan Gong didn't stay in the house for a long time, but it didn't last long. In fact, it was compared to Zhu Di and Yao Guangqi, it had been considered a long time, because Yuan Gong stayed in it for more than half an hour.

Half an hour later, Yuan Gong came out, and he came out with a smile. After coming out, he only said: "It's too late, let's take a break first, let's talk about it tomorrow."
