012 The old man

The next morning, Gu Lele got up early. As soon as he came out of the space, he heard footsteps outside.

He pushed the door and walked out, "Mom, why did you get up so early?"

"I think we will go to Qingyun Temple early today. Alas, I don't know if we can find that old Taoist priest."

Gu Ma's eyes were still a little swollen, and she looked like she hadn't had a good rest at first glance.

Gu Lele's heart was a little awkward. How bad I was in my previous life, I could deliberately play a counterattack with Gu's parents. Gu's mother was not in good health later, and she was very angry with her.

After having breakfast in a hurry, Gu's mother took Gu Lele to Qingyun Temple with a car.

Gu Ma's psychological quality has always been bad, and the matter is related to Gu Lele's life. Gu Ma seemed even more panicked. She was absent-minded all the way, and almost forgot to pay even when she got off the bus. Gu Lele saw Gu Ma's behavior in her eyes, and her heart felt a little sour again.

Unlike those famous ancient temples, Qingyun Temple is not located in a quiet place with beautiful mountains and rivers, but is located in a downtown area. There are still some preserved alleys and bungalows around. People living here come and go with mixed believers, but they do not seem noisy or chaotic at all.

Qingyun Temple is also a Taoist temple with a long history. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and was quite large at that time. It was burned during the War of Resistance Against Japan and was rebuilt after liberation, but its area was reduced to one-fifth of its original size.

The buildings in the view mainly face north and south, forming a three-way pattern.

The middle road is the main building of the Taoist temple - the Sanqing Hall. The temple ** worships the Three Qing Dao Ancestors, namely Yuanshi Tianzun, Lingbao Tianzun and Daode Tianzun. There are also four great beasts enshrined around them - Qinglong, White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, and Xuanwu.

On the left side of the middle road is Wenchang Hall, which is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang, Lu Dongbin, Zhang Guolao, etc. On the right side is the Medicine King Hall, which is dedicated to the Medicine King Sun Simiao, Hua Tuo, and Li Shizhen.

On the left side of the last is the Jade Emperor Hall worshipping the Jade Emperor and the Thunder Gods, as well as the Guanyin Hall and the God of Wealth Hall; on the right is the Palace of the Empress Dowager, the Queen Mother, the God of Sea, the Lady, etc.

There are more than 100 statues in the temple, including the gods of the three religions of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. They are exquisitely crafted, antique and unique in shape. They are considered to be rare cultural heritage in City B. However, it is obvious that Gu Mom is not in the mood to care about these today.

It was less than eight o'clock at this time, and there were not many people in the sight. The Taoist priests seemed to have just finished some activities and came out of the hall. Gu Ma stared at the Taoist priests who came out to try to find the monster old man. After a long time, all the Taoist priests in the hall had withdrawn, and Gu Ma did not see the figure of the monster old man.

"Lele, do you think we can find him?" Gu Mom frowned and asked Gu Lele.

"It should be possible. He told us to come here to find him, not to mention that we have prepared good wine and meat." Gu Lele replied with a smile.

"When is it time for you kid? I still have time to say this!" Gu Ma pointed Gu Lele's forehead helplessly and funny.

Gu Lele touched his forehead and thought that he would be at peace since he came. In his previous life, he was not interested in these religions, and even after studying at No. 1 Middle School for six years, he had never been here. Why not take a good look this time and said to Gu Ma: "Mom, look at us so early. Maybe that Taoist elder has to rest for a while and not get up yet. Why don't we pay more visits to these gods? It's better to show our sincerity, right?"

After hearing this, Gu Ma felt something was right, so she went to the door of the Taoist temple and invited a few incense trees and began to kneel down devoutly. Gu Ma, who had something to do, was obviously not as restless as before, so Gu Lele also knelt down with Gu Ma's statue and statue, and time passed unknowingly.

After the two of them worshipped all the statues of the gods, they did not meet the strange old man.

"Oh, let's go back." Gu Ma said with some loss and mocking herself: "I'm really stupid, I can actually-"

Before Gu Ma finished speaking, a loud and strange voice came from far and near.

"Oh, little baby, you're here! Are the wine and meat coming? I'm so greedy, old man!"

Gu Lele couldn't help but roll her eyes. She had a premonition that she would definitely do this.

The old man ran towards Gu Ma and Gu Lele at a speed that was not in line with his age. He took the wine and meat from Gu Ma's hand and hugged it in his arms, and said with a bright look on his face: "Oh, tell me, what else do you have to bring when you come."

"..." Gu Ma's lips opened slightly, but she couldn't say anything, and she laughed again, "Master Taoist, can you see my daughter. You said before that she could not live to be twenty-four years old. Is there a way to resolve this?"

The old man only cared about the wine and meat in his arms, ignoring Gu Ma’s question. After reading for a while, he sighed and said, “Oh, what are you bringing here? Why don’t you bring me pork head meat and Erguotou!”

Gu Ma and Gu Lele were both stunned when they said this. Gu Lele was just a joke. Gu Ma might not care what Gu Lele said yesterday, but Gu Lele clearly remembered that what he blurted out last night was pig head meat and Erguotou. Is this just a coincidence?

Seeing that the Taoist priest was not very satisfied, Gu Ma smiled and said, "It's the first time I'm taking it. I don't know what the Taoist priest likes to eat. From now on, you will tell us, we will bring you whatever you like." Then he said anxiously: "Master, look at this child, can you live beyond the age of twenty-four?"

"Yes." The old man replied readily, "Little girl is my teacher, how about I guarantee you safety?" After saying that, he winked like Gu Lele.

Gu Mom looked at the old man and Gu Lele again. After hesitating for a long time, she asked: "Master... If you become a disciple, will Lele want to become a monk?"

"Hahahahahahahahaha." The old man laughed loudly, "No, no, just take the time to accompany me for more time." He turned to Gu Lele, "Little girl, what do you think?"

Gu Lele didn't hate this old man, but for some reason he rejected the old man's teacher. But she didn't want Gu's mother to worry about her and she didn't want to die again when she was 24 years old, so she discussed: "I can come to see you often, but can't you not become a disciple?"

The little old man's face suddenly became gloomy. Gu's mother was unhappy when she saw that the little old man was unhappy and anxiously pinched Gu Lele's arm secretly. Gu Lele's heart actually sank, but for some reason she turned around and left with great backbone.

This is not the "coward" Gu Lele in his previous life who was too lazy to consider other people's feelings. Gu Lele himself was shocked by his own behavior.

"Hey hey, you little girl, you still have such a bad temper. If you don't want to bow, don't bow!" The old man chased after him, and the voice of shouting at the top of his throat made Gu Ma's face full of darkness.

Gu Lele's steps slowed down a little but did not stop. A little smugness arose in his heart. This emotion did not look like Gu Lele at all. Gu Lele frowned slightly. What's wrong with her?

The old man quickly chased after him, grabbed Gu Lele's clothes and screamed: "You little girl who doesn't know how to respect the elderly and love the young, I can stop after me without saying a word!"

Gu Lele turned around and saw the old man's aggrieved look, and couldn't help but feel funny, "Then I will thank the Taoist priest for promising me to protect my safety! If I don't live to be 24 years old, I will come back to find you!"

"Lele, what are you talking?" Gu Mom glared at Gu Lele angrily, then turned to the Taoist priest and said, "Master, don't be angry. It's all my fault that I didn't teach this child well. You are not remembering the villain's mistakes, don't take it to your heart."

The old man turned his head proudly and snorted, "It's still your mother's words that go smoothly! Of course, there is nothing I can't do if I promise. But you, a stinky girl, don't forget to come to me often! You also need good wine and meat to serve you!"

"Okay, okay, then please let the Taoist priest worry!" Gu Ma responded with a smile, turned her head and glared at Gu Lele, "Is it okay to thank Taoist priest!"

Gu Lele had no choice but to thank him.

"Okay, okay, you guys go quickly, it's noisy." The old man waved his hand and signaled that they could get out. Gu Ma obviously didn't react to the old man's change. She was stunned for a moment, but Gu Lele pulled her out of the Taoist temple.

After walking out for a while, Gu Ma came to her senses and asked, "Lele, why don't you worship Taoist priest?"

Gu Lele was stunned for a moment, and didn't know how to answer, so he had to smile and evade, "I'm afraid I'm going to be a Taoist nun. I'm still so young and haven't seen much of this world yet."

Gu Ma smiled after hearing her explanation and didn't ask any more questions.

But Gu Lele's questions were getting more and more. She obviously didn't hate this little old man, but why did she reject the worship of him as her teacher? Why was she not so rude on weekdays? What made her sure that the little old man who had met before would definitely call her? And why did she blurt out pork and Erguotou when she was at home?

All of this was as if she and the old man were very familiar with each other and were very good people. Gu Lele shook his head, how could this be possible!

A big stone in Gu's heart was barely put down. On the way home, Gu Lele went to buy vegetables and meat for lunch. Gu Lele simply left behind the thoughts that Gu Lele couldn't figure out. No matter how much she had more than ten years before she was twenty-four years old, the most important thing was the most important thing.

There are potatoes at the market that are selling off. Gu Lele's family likes to eat potatoes. Gu Lele saw Gu's mother picking up a large bag of potatoes but hesitating to buy them, so she guessed Gu's mother's idea. She must have thought that she would not be able to get home if she bought too much, but she felt that she finally encountered a discount.

The corners of Gu Lele's mouth curled up slightly. Her mother was such a thrifty woman. Perhaps this was a common problem for many women. In his previous life, Gu Lele always stocked up when the price was reduced. Later, she found that she could not finish eating so much and broke but still couldn't control herself.

Gu Lele walked to Gu's mother and said, "Mom, just buy it if you want. Isn't there any more? I'll bring it back for you."

Gu Ma smiled and looked at her and teased, "Then forget it, what can you, Miss Nuan?"

Gu Lele was speechless. She was in poor health in her previous life. She was indeed a "bag" with a tiger-backed and bear-backed waist, but she was really a "bag" who could not hold her shoulders and could not resist her. Gu's mother often laughed at her as "a big man who could eat but not do it."

Forget it, let's talk with the facts. Gu Lele walked forward without saying a word, easily lifted the big bag of potatoes and placed them steadily on the electronic scale placed by the vendor on the stall. Then he looked at Gu Ma with a proud look.

Gu Ma smiled helplessly and had to pay, then went to carry the bag of potatoes, but found that it was really heavy and couldn't help frowning. Gu Lele smiled and took the bag, walked forward with ease, and turned around and winked at Gu Ma, "Mom, look, I said I could lift it."
