Chapter 57 Aliens

The first day is always the hardest.

If the displaced lifestyle since childhood taught Skye something, then this must be the first. She always kept moving from one place to another, and so far SHIELD was the place where she stayed for the longest time. However, this lifestyle also has an advantage, that is, it is to help her adapt to unfamiliar environments quickly.

When night fell, Skye already felt that this wooden house, which was like her cage, was not as bad as before. On the plus side, at least she could temporarily relax from the pile of things associated with terrorist organizations and super criminals. The scenery here is nice and isolated, and it is unlikely that both terrorists and aliens will chase them.

......I guess so.

Skye leaned against the handrail of the living room sofa, and listened to a talk show boredly through the radio station. Her gradually grew sleepy and made her yawn.

Until she was sure she heard something rustling through the bushes.

Maybe it's a deer in the mountains or something? No, that's impossible. Colson said that there is a layer of laser fence nearby that encloses the wooden house like a high-tech cage, and even if there are really any animals nearby, it's impossible to break in.

Skye suddenly lost all sleepiness. She swallowed, got up and walked out of the door, and walked around the room for a while and groped through it.

When she turned the corner, she actually found a person. The tall black figure stood in the darkness, motionless like a wooden stake, which scared her so much that she almost screamed.

"Who are you? How did you pass through the laser network?" she asked subconsciously.

There was no answer. But the man took out a small device from behind, placed it flat on the palm of his hand, and the arrows that appeared on the light blue virtual interface pointed straight at the position where Skye was standing, just as if the sniper's accurate heart had locked the target.

Skye instinctively felt that it was definitely not a good sign.

The man put away the instrument, took a step, and showed a heavy battle axe from behind him. The light shot out from the square window of the hut revealed a deep skin like the sea, and the silver axe was reflected.

It's great, an alien carrying an axe looks like what Colson calls a "safe place" that ends here.

I don't know if the alien doesn't understand the local language or simply doesn't want to speak, but he stepped forward without saying a word, swinging the axe heavily on his head. Skye avoided it smartly and grabbed the alien's right with a slid step.

Although she has not been able to control her powerful superpowers yet, this does not prevent her from being an excellent Aegis. In the face of an alien holding an axe and trying to cut off her head, Skye showed quite excellent psychological qualities. She flashed two heavy axes in a row, and flew as hard as possible and kicked the opponent's back knee.

But the alien was surprisingly stable in the lower plate. Facing her move to deal with the beautiful kick, the opponent slashed over with an axe, Skye leaned back and avoided her. The sharp axe slashed across the tip of her nose with a cold whirlwind.

The alien kept moving, and then swept with the handle of the axe with his backhand, and his movements were continuous without giving her any chance to breathe. Skye could not dodge and had to lift his arm to hold it dullly. The handle of the giant axe hit her forearm with a thousand pounds. At that moment, she felt as if she was hit by a truck head-on, and her whole body flew away uncontrollably.

Skye fell on a slope, rolling down the slope like a car with a failed brake, until her back hit a broken tree stump hard before she could barely stop.

She gasped violently, feeling that every bone and muscle in her body were in severe pain. The arm that had suffered a heavy blow was no longer conscious at this moment, and she could not even be sure whether this arm was connected to her body.

Tiredness and soreness surged out of every cell of the body, as if trying hard to persuade her to stop and rest, but the awake consciousness forced her to act. The alien madman holding an axe had appeared at the top of the slope, and was walking towards her slowly, and the axe clenched open all obstacles along the way.

She couldn't help but start cursing her superpowers in her stomach. She didn't stop when she shouldn't have an attack. When it should work, it didn't move again, as if she was deliberately looking for trouble.

She tried to stand up, but found that her ankle was also sprained. After trying twice, she couldn't get up from the wooden stake behind her. The blue alien was less than ten steps away from her now. He lifted the axe and weighed it in his hand, like an executioner walking towards the execution ground.

Five steps left. Skye heard her breathing in disorder, her heartbeat gradually lost control. The earth began to quake slightly, and her unreliable superpower seemed to finally emerge again at this critical moment. Unfortunately, the small earthquake did not seem to be able to stop the blue-skinned alien.

There were three steps left. The alien ignored the shaking of the ground, clasped the handle of the axe tightly, and prepared to lift the axe and slash it down.

Skye subconsciously picked up his head.

But the expected heavy blow did not come for a long time.

She opened her eyes in confusion and saw the battle axe raised by the alien being fixed on her head. A black steel palm firmly grasped the alien's raised wrist like a pliers. The black armor appeared silently like a ghost, and the V-shaped mirror exuded a light blue fluorescent light.

That's... the Black Knight on the S.H.I.E.D.'s High Risk Wanted List?

So shouldn't this guy be a bad guy?

The light blue light of the armor illuminated the alien's hideous and vicious blue face, and the surprised expression on that face did not seem to be much less than Skye - if that expression also represents surprise to the aliens.

He grabbed the alien's arm with one hand to block his axe. Michael immediately lifted his right foot and instantly raised it to 60% and kicked the opponent's solid chest wrapped in armor. But the alien was really stable and withstood the tons of leg strength, he staggered back a few steps, and at least he could barely stop his foot.

Skye's body weight leaned against the stump, dragging his unconscious arm and sitting up straight: "Why are you...why?"

Michael seemed to have not heard it, or acted as if he hadn't realized that he had just saved someone. He faced the alien who was kicked back by him, and the locking frame on the screen had already locked the other party. Various scanners swept the big blue-skinned guy from head to toe in just a few seconds.

"Kerry, I guess?" he asked in his voice-changing bass.

"The warrior of the earth." The blue-skinned alien - the Kerry - narrowed his eyes, "I didn't expect that a place like the earth could also give birth to warriors like this. But I'm not here for you, the earthlings. Get out of the way, it has nothing to do with you."

His eyes crossed Michael's shoulders and looked at Skye, who was sitting behind him.

"That woman is no longer one of you," said the Kerry man coldly. "She was born from an ancient Kerry experiment, and it was a weapon belonging to the Kerry Empire."

"Do you mean you are the same as your blue-skinned? Let's forget it, I would rather be in the same circle as Hydra." Skye said.

She was still stubborn, but only she understood that she was actually afraid. Somewhere in her heart she had accepted the Kerry statement because it seemed to make sense - she had become a monster, an uncontrollable alien weapon, so she had to be isolated in this paradise by her companions.

She felt desperate.

"Last chance, warrior of the earth." The Kerry raised his heavy axe, "You make the way out now and let me complete my mission, and then I will immediately stay away from your planet - with this uncontrollable high-risk weapon. How about this proposal?"
