Chapter 4 Practical Test
The meeting lasted an incredible full five hours before it finally ended. As soon as Michael stood up, Elizabeth handed over the blazer in time.
Michael raised his arm and asked her to help him put on his coat, and asked, "There should be nothing else except the weekend mayor's party, right?"
"Hanmo Technology CEO requests a meeting tomorrow night, you can see..."
"Hanmo Technology? Is the former CEO who was in prison two years ago and was almost finished?"
"That's that."
"Then make up an excuse to turn it off, I'm not available." Michael fixed his collar, "It's not too late. If nothing else you can go back first."
Elizabeth nodded: "Okay, sir. If anything else I will notify you, good night."
"Good night."
Leaving the conference room, Michael walked through the corridor and entered the encrypted elevator that reached his office, and took the elevator to the office on the top floor of the building. Then he crossed the entire room and came to the wall that was closest to the inside. A slender gap emerged from the thin wall, and it slowly and heavily slid to both sides, like a heavy automatic door.
Michael stepped in, and the wall then closed behind him again, and the wall was still as smooth as a mirror.
No matter who enters his office, it is impossible to find this entrance, because this is not a secret door activated by mechanism, but a magic, a spell. Behind the wall, magic is directly connected to his private laboratory under the ground of his private residence more than twenty miles away. Only the spell he set himself can activate this magic secret door.
"Welcome back." The pleasant electronic synthesized female voice rang out the moment he walked into the laboratory. The source of the sound seemed to come from all directions of the room. "A boring and long meeting?"
Michael walked straight towards the laboratory bench. The white and black armor was being split and lying flat on the laboratory bench, and several mechanical arms were modifying it with all their hands and feet.
"I suspect those guys may be trying to murder me slowly with boredom." Michael said casually, stopping at the lab table, watching a robotic arm "sizzle" out of the ankle of the armor, "How is the progress, Shirley?"
Shirley is an artificial intelligence he developed independently. The technology in the field of artificial intelligence in the Marvel world is also much ahead of Michael's world before traveling through time. The representative AIs include Jarvis, the intelligent butler of Iron Man, and the super artificial intelligence Ultron, which has not yet been born.
The assistance of artificial intelligence has a considerable effect on the on-site combat and analytical capabilities of armor. At the beginning of the journey, Michael stayed in Hydra for a while, and he had paid special attention to this knowledge. He had already begun to develop artificial intelligence long before he left the organization, and Shirley was his best work.
"Eighty percent have been completed, sir." Shirley replied, "It should be done in one hour of painting. Do you want to drive out for a ride?"
"It sounds good. Remember to charge me with full control and equip practical weapons. I want to test it directly."
"Practical combat?" The voice of artificial intelligence revealed a hint of doubt, "Who are you with, sir?"
Michael did not answer. He picked up the modified armor gloves on the laboratory bench. After the gloves were automatically identified, they popped up from the middle, wrapping his palm in.
He tightened his fists with his gloved hands and said, "It's been three years, we've been hiding for a long time. Now... it's almost time to fight back."

Late at night, somewhere where the location is kept confidential.
The white lights connected together shine in the dark night, and a huge steel-made facility was shrouded in the light. Military off-road traveled on the square in front of the building, and the sci-fi jets on the apron were ups and downs, like a strict military fortress.
In the central control room, Randall Mallory, a 6th-level agent of SHIELD, stood in front of a giant hanging screen more than five meters high, directing the operation and dispatch of the entire base. The high-tempo keyboard typing sound and the cracking sound of the operation of the mechanical crypto machine echoed in this confined room, and the headphones intelligence officers were busy at their respective positions.
"Sir!" a correspondent raised his head and shouted, "There are UFOs coming in our direction! It is very fast and is heading straight for us!"
Randall Mallory became alert: "What is it?"
"I don't know, I have been fully compared with the known database and no match was found..."
"Have you tried to contact the other party?"
"Try it, sir. No response."
"Sir!" another correspondent shouted, "That thing...it disappeared from the surveillance!"
The afterimage of the break through the air seemed to emerge out of thin air, and the light blue tail flames spewed downward and fell vertically. The black armor fell sharply on the ground in the middle of the airspace with a "clang" sound, and the faint transparent air waves blew away from the soles of his feet.
Everyone in the square stopped what they were doing, and many agents immediately pulled their guns and pointed them at the black uninvited guest.
"You have entered the command center of the US military. Please disarm immediately and indicate your identity, otherwise we will carry out a fatal blow..."
The loud shouts were replayed from the loudspeaker over and over again, echoing in the suddenly quiet clearing. Dozens of black holes pointed at the uninvited guest at the uninvited guest. As long as he had any suspicious actions, he would be greeted by gunfire.
The black armor slowly raised its head, and the V-shaped eyepiece was filled with light blue fluorescence.
He didn't reply, or he could also say he used his actions instead of answering. He raised his hand without saying a word, and the powerful blue pulse beam roared out of his palm, blowing the agents in front of him away.
The fierce battle broke out instantly, and all the muzzles spewed out a clear light of fire at the same time. Hundreds of bullets splashed with sparks on the pitch-black armor. The black armor did not move in the intertwined firepower. His back sprayed a propulsion flame downward, holding his body to float back into the air. He looked down, and his palms alternately blasted out pulse beams, blowing the entire square to amazement.
The Kun-type fighter jets on the apron were activated, and the science-fiction anti-gravity device made these fighters float vertically incredibly, and large-caliber bullets poured out from the muzzles hanging on both sides of the wings. The black armor's waist and back were propelled to jet at the same time, driving the armor to shuttle through the rain of bullets in a clever and light manner. He raised his hand and swept two guns, and the two Kun-type fighter jets fell in black smoke.
"Sir, at three o'clock, there is a team of armored vehicles loaded with electromagnetic guns." Shirley's voice rang inside the helmet, "I guess you might want to notice this."
"Thank you for your reminder, please help me mark it on the screen?" Michael said, shooting down a Kun-style fighter.
The metal shells dragged thousands of roaring electric snakes and roared out along the guide rails. The electromagnetic shells wrapped in the blue current rushed straight towards Michael in the air like roaring dragons.
But Michael did not dodge or avoid, but only raised his palm calmly. The flame-colored magic array spread out from his palm. The electromagnetic shells that were as powerful as thunder, and then disappeared like stones sinking into the magic array. Michael flipped his palm, and the complex patterns on the magic array changed. The few shells that had just entered flew out of it without any reduction in speed, dragging a long series of raging currents and shooting back along the way.
Several consecutive shells tore the shells of several armored vehicles like a destruction. The broken body overturned in the air, and the flames exploded violently, and the broken iron sheets and tires flew around from the fire.
In just three minutes, all the resistance forces in the huge base were cleaned up. The dark armor advanced with steady steps, and the steel figure cut open the burning fire curtain, like a terminator.
No one could stop him, nor did he have weapons to fall down. The base's emergency safety protocol has been launched, the central command room has been protected by layers of super-thick reinforcement gates, the automatic defense system has been activated, and every passage is covered with deadly traps.
At the same time, the emergency order for help has been issued to the headquarters of ASCHD. The headquarters replied that reinforcements would be allowed to arrive within five minutes... But the responsible Agent Randall knew in his heart that they might not be able to hold on at that time.
"Sir!" A correspondent in the control room was sweating profusely, "The first layer of defense has been broken!"
"...The laser net was broken through! The second layer of defense has also been broken!"
Agent Randall felt a chill on his back. He clearly saw the black steel armor through the monitor inside the command room, and involuntarily thought of someone, someone who he had just heard of but was extremely dangerous.
A heavy muffled sound was constantly approaching their position, and each sound was heavier than the last time because of the closer distance. He felt like a turtle curled up in the turtle shell, clearly knowing that a deadly poisonous python was wandering outside the turtle shell.
boom!
The two door panels weighing a tons were exerted from the outside and flew into the command room like two hidden weapons. The steel body stepped through the thick smoke and dust and walked in. The V-shaped eyepieces shone brightened the dust flying in the air.
The agents who had been waiting here pulled their guns and fired without thinking - of course, it was proved to be futile. Michael raised his palm and pinched a magic circle in his palm. Seven or eight magic flying knives appeared out of nowhere in the air, and locked their respective targets with the instructions of the master. All the agents in the command room were all cut into the sword in the blink of an eye. Except for Agent Randall, the guy looked pale and leaned against the railing on the platform of the control room, and he didn't dare to show his energy.
Michael ignored him, as if he had not realized that such a living person was missing in the room. He walked straight to the console, and opened his right fingers to the main computer. A connection line was poked out from his palm and connected to the computer. A large amount of data was transmitted through the thin connection line in a short moment, and various confidential archive interfaces swayed like screens on the computer screen.
"The transmission is completed, and all the data has been backed up." Shirley said.
Michael retracted the connection line and then slowly turned his head to look at Agent Randall on the platform. The latter shook his body when he felt his sight and almost fell from the height.
Michael's back spewed out of fire and flew to a position that was highly parallel to the pale agent. Agent Randall's legs and feet became soft, and he sat down against the railing.
His throat was dry and black smoke was almost coming out of his throat. He heard a voice that was so deformed that he could hardly hear: "Is it...Dr. Norton?"
"Take a message to your boss for me and tell them that this is just the beginning." The cold voice of the mechanical man came out from under the black mask through the loudspeaker. "You know I am not referring to Fury, just like you and I know that you are not Agent Agent."
After saying that, he did not stop at all. Two long tail flames spewed out from his back, and arrows like steel disappeared along the way.
