Chapter 311 Hunting Game

"Simply put, this island is the mutant prison recognized by Ginosha's government. A specialized program production team hunts mutants in this place and makes videos into TV shows for broadcasting."

Wanda briefly explained the whole story, which undoubtedly made these already uneasy mutants even more nervous. They are not only being chased and besieged in an isolated cage, but are also on TV - not being photographed like TV stars, but in comparison, more like animals being hunted in the camera.

Lorna clenched her fists angrily, and the magnetic field she released unconsciously clenched the surrounding metal debris into pieces.

"Let me know who planned this," she said viciously, "I'm going to twist the steel bars into pieces and stuff them in from their mouths."

"Well, although I'm not against you, considering that we may be on the TV screen right now," Wanda whispered, "You'd better not do this. Maybe you should pay attention to some image."

"Ha! That's right. Everyone has to act on the TV!"

The man's voice came from the jungle, followed by a chaotic roaring footsteps, like a vast army driving through the jungle...

It was a guy wearing a red tights. He held a gun in one hand and a sword in the other. Behind him were those half-human and half-mechanical transformed soldiers, who drove towards them in a mighty manner. Countless steps were stacked together as if shaking the earth.

"Come on, guys, laugh!" the slutty man yelled as he pulled the trigger, "I'm not prejudiced to you personally, but they said that this business can make a lot of money, and maybe it can break the highest TV show playback record in history! Oh yes, forget to introduce yourself - my buddies call me 'Deadpool', and you can call it that too - if you like it."

The TV screen used eye-catching white numbers to pass the countdown of three, two, and one against a black background. Then a host wearing a suit and a smooth head appeared on the screen. He had a standard smile on his face and recited the opening remark fluently in standard English.

"Hello everyone, I'm Augustas, welcome back to Krakava Island. The legendary program that everyone has been looking forward to for several weeks has finally returned! This week we got an excellent opportunity to invite a group of mutant terrorists who have been hiding the authorities in the United States for a long time. This may be the most exciting episode of the program since it was aired! Please don't take your eyes off, the excitement will start right away!"

Everything was done with the camera, and the scene came to Krakawa Island, which was in fierce battle. The mutant group faced a whole army of transformed soldiers. The war spread like wildly along the jungle, and the scene was once very chaotic.

Deadpool - hired by the program team at a high salary, and it is said that mercenaries with considerable experience in mutants - led this team of transformers to charge fiercely. Their firepower completely suppressed the other party, and the number of people was far ahead, and they occupied the advantageous terrain suitable for their own battles. The mutant people happened to be not good at utilizing the mutant abilities. But their weakness was also quite obvious - that is, all the warriors who received the transformation had metal parts on their bodies, and they had no power to fight back in front of the girl who led the team in the small group of mutants.

But the number of people on the mutant side is already at a disadvantage, and most of them are not suitable for combat. Instead, they need the protection and care of teammates. Lorna, who can control metal, and Wanda, who controls chaos magic, basically become the main output of the mutant side. Green and red lights intertwined in mid-air, resisting the bullets and artillery fire that sprinkled like raindrops. With their powerful abilities, they were not at a disadvantage.

No, that's not all. As time goes by, Lorna's head gradually becomes clearer and her strength gradually recovers. The longer she and Wanda fight side by side, the more tacit they cooperate. Sometimes they only need a look or some minimal signs to be able to communicate with each other, and they can perfectly cooperate with the attack or take care of each other.

"You're fighting well." Lorna made a mistake with her hands and pulled two transformed soldiers out of the crowd from the air. Wanda also raised a crimson barrier to help her block the shelling attack from behind.

"Thank you, you're not bad." Wanda shot out a magic ball of light, blowing away a large number of soldiers.

"But speaking, how did you get involved? Are you a mutant too?"

"I... no." Wanda waved his hand and directed the chaos magic to fly like a tornado. The leaves and metal wreckage in the sky were rolled up in the storm and threw them towards the enemy. She thought about the words for a moment before, and said, "It's just that after the previous meeting, I want to... talk to you. So I went to find you."

"Me?" Lorna pointed at herself, "Do you talk to me?"

"Well. I can't tell why, but I just want to talk about it."

"Well, it's interesting." Lorna chuckled, "If I say I've always had similar ideas, do you believe it?"

The light arrow transformed from crimson magic was input through the jungle and rushed in along a barrel of gun that was pouring out firepower. The gun body exploded instantly, and the red light and flames tore the steel barrel, and metal fragments scattered everywhere.

The modified big guy holding a gun was immediately blown away by the scorching storm, and it also affected Deadpool, not far away from him. Deadpool was blown up so much that he flipped over the air, and was in an ugly posture of a dog gnawing mud.

Communication from outside was connected to the headset under his mask.

"Wilson!" someone shouted into his ear, "What's going on in your place?"

"Small voice, man, my ears are so good that I can hear them clearly." Deadpool kept his indifferent position and lay in the mud, letting the fire pieces and stray bullets explode on the left and right sides of his body, "What's the situation? I'm working hard to complete the task! You know, it's what you paid me to do - catch a few mutants and show how to kill them on TV."

"Yes, I asked you to catch a few mutants and come back to hunt them down. I didn't let you catch two of them, so I could take all of us!" The guys over there almost shouted, "Didn't you see those two mutant girls dealing with our transformation warriors like cutting melons and vegetables?"

"Well, I didn't expect that green one to be so difficult. The red one... was an accident, it was not what I caught." Deadpool scratched his head, "It seemed like something happened...but you must not be liable for the debt here, right?"

The communication signal was suddenly cut off. The fat person in charge in the studio roared "idiot" or something, and pounded the wall hard.

"Uh, sir," asked the headphones correspondent, "to release the 'sentinel'?"

"Nonsense! If you don't need mutants, you'll hit us!" the fat man said at the top of his voice, "It took us so much money to buy this thing, so let it work for me!"
