Chapter 164 Heart Demon

"It's you again." A heavy voice echoed in the darkness, and the scarlet eyes almost narrowed, as if they wanted to spew out the fire to burn Michael to ashes. It was undoubtedly Domaum again. Speaking of which, Michael and this dark god have not met for the first time - although they are not face-to-face in the true sense.

Domaum let out an angry growl, and a shocking wave suddenly set off in the quiet darkness. The wave of darkness seemed to form a high blurred curtain wall and rushed towards him, like a tsunami launching a surging charge towards the water shore.

Under this momentum, Dum subconsciously raised his arms to protect him. Michael walked up to him and waved his hand lightly. The tide-like darkness stopped when it swept less than half a meter to his feet, and was divided to both sides, as if it had hit a layer of invisible barrier. Michael's long windbreaker was blown up like a black flag, but he did not move at all.

Domaum roared loudly, but could do nothing.

Michael looked down at the child-like Dum.

So this is what Victor von Dum looks like in his heart.

Anyone who has seen Dum will probably put all kinds of words on him, such as super genius, freaks or monsters. He left a similar impression on anyone, being indifferent, selfish, and not caring about anyone. He refused anyone to approach him and felt that he had a connection with anyone. He was withdrawn and difficult to get along with, and almost engraved his pride in his bones.

But deep down, he has always been a lonely little boy, lonely and stubborn, trying everything he wants to save his mother's soul.

That's why it's so cold here.

"This is your inner world, your realm, Victor. So here that guy doesn't keep his word, of course, I can't do it either. Only you can make decisions here. Domaum is using your subconscious mind to deal with you. He wants you to surrender, want you to fall into darkness and become his pawn." Michael paused and said, "But the Victor von Doum I know won't bow his head so simply."

Dum shook his head and said lowly: "He said it right. I am a loser. I give everything to achieve that goal, but I have achieved nothing to this day."

"Yes! You are nothing at all!" Domaum roared, "You need me, Victor. You join forces with me, and anyone can only surrender to us!"

Michael ignored the noisy guy above and continued, "Nothing can be achieved? I don't think so. In my opinion, you are just starting out now. You have always been proud and arrogant because you should be like this. You have a better potential than anyone else. If you hadn't discovered this, I wouldn't have invited you to join. If you ask me to teach you spells, I agree. Giving up halfway is not an option."

Dum still lowered his head and was silent for a while.

"You haven't given up on me yet?" he asked.

"I promised to help you save your mother, and I did what I said." Michael said calmly, "This is my responsibility in the contract. But before that, you must fulfill your obligations. At this moment, all I need you to do is hold your head up. You are no longer a child, you know who you are."

He looked at Dum and reached out to press his hand on his shoulder: "Pull out your name loudly. Tell me, who are you?"

"Victor...Victor von Doom."

"Speak louder. Tell me, who are you?"

"I am Dum." He raised his head, and his image had turned back into an adult in a trance. A ferocious beast-like flame reignited in his eyes, with a sharp edge that made people subconsciously want to avoid, "I am Victor von Dum, I am fearless!"

He stood up, turned his head, and looked up at the huge face of Domaum in the darkness.

"Get out of my head!" He returned to his former coldness and issued an unquestionable order to expel guests.

Domaum burst out with an even more angry roar, but his image gradually distorted, and his voice became more and more distant. He soon left like the thunder in the sky until he completely disappeared...

......

Dum knelt heavily on his knees, his hands supporting the ground, and gasping heavily.

The clone of Ecken's form and Sethorak's scarlet belt disappeared together. Michael stood in front of him, lowered his head and scanned him with the armor system. The feedback results showed that the dark magic index had dropped to a minimum and had returned to the normal range.

"It looks like Mr. von Doom has returned to us, sir," Shirley said.

“It seems to be.”

Michael said, reaching out a hand to Dum. Dum raised his head and took his stretched hand, and stood up with the force.

"Mr. Paso." He said in a low voice, "I..."

He bit his lip and wanted to speak, but Michael could guess that he might be trying to say "sorry".

"Let's say it after you have something to do." Michael said lightly, "We have a lot to do."

Dumm shook his head: "No, it's too late." He looked up at the crack in the sky. The dark vortex had expanded to a very amazing size, as if it had covered the entire sky. "Domam is coming, and I am the medium of his invasion. I built a machine that could open the entrance to the dark dimension. After the entrance was opened, every time I drew an extra bit of energy from the dark dimension, Domm followed the trajectory I left behind, as if I was chasing breadcrumbs to find the exit... Now no one can stop him."

After pausing, he added: "This should be counted on me."

Although it was not a direct apology, it at least expressed the meaning of being close.

"Your mission has been completed." Michael narrowed his eyes and looked up at the vortex in the sky. "Leave the next part to me."

He jumped up and drove two long flames into the sky behind him.

The black and golden armor merged into the powerful airflow vortex, and rose straight up against the violent magic whirlwind, rushing into the crack in the sky.

The darkness kept restless, as if gravity was acting on the armor in different directions. He flew into a chaos, which was said to have transcended the dimension of time. Flashes of deep colorful light rolled in the depths of the darkness, and huge spherical objects were suspended in the darkness, connected to each other by vertical and horizontal channels.

The space is filled with some kind of fog, and it is terrifyingly quiet.

Michael landed on one of the black balls, which looked like a reduced version of the planet. The ground he was stepping on was like mineral rock, and a strange green light threw out from the hole on its surface.

Something flew over from the darkness at high speed, left and right. Michael flipped his palms and released a spell shield in his hand. The black spikes on both sides were opened. He blocked seven or eight times in a row, and three spikes pierced through the mist and fell down. He opened his armor in time to advance, pulled back, and all three spikes inserted into the ground where he had just stood.

Michael landed and stood firmly, looking toward the deep darkness.

"For a host who hasn't been visited by guests for thousands of years," he said lightly, "You are really surprised by the 'enthusiasm'."

The dark red flames were lit up in the darkness, and the burning fire outlined an irregular oval border, which seemed to have an extremely huge eye. Then the shape of the nose and mouth gradually emerged, and a face that was even larger than the asteroid he was standing on was floating up from the dark body of water. Dai Ze's fierce and cruel light glared at him.

The god of the dark dimension, Domaum. They finally met.
