Chapter 105 The only solution

"You brought an alien to my mothership!?"

Colson stared at Mewell with wide eyes, the blue-skinned officer Kerry, maintaining an incredible expression.

"Uh, you haven't heard it all yet, Director Colson." Tony spread his hands, "I'm going to tell you next that his tribe members are going to come here to find something called 'Cosmic Cube', and it seems that they will likely conquer the earth by the way."

Colson frowned and his eyes wandered back and forth from several people.

"Is this some kind of joke?"

"My name is Mai Weir, the commander of the Science Department of the Kerry Space Fleet. I am indeed a Kerry, and my tribe is also on the way to invade. But you must believe me, I really want to help." Mai Weir spoke seriously.

Colson almost couldn't help rolling his eyes. This passage sounds like saying that the United States was preparing to attack Iraq, but before the war started, a US general secretly ran to Saddam and said that I was going to turn against him... Only if I believe it, there would be a ghost!

"It's just a mention, but it's not me who brought someone to your mothership." Tony pointed innocently at the Black Knight beside him, "I didn't even know you haven't broken up before today. It was this guy who brought us."

Colson turned his eyes to the mysterious guy hidden in the black and gold armor beside him, and his attitude became solemn and cautious.

The Black Knight is the top dangerous list of ASCHD people left by Fury, but this does not mean that the other party is malicious. As the current chief of SHIELD and former senior agent, Colson is very clear about how this evaluation mechanism of ASCHD works. Anyone who has extremely powerful personal power and possesses highly confidential intelligence and ASCHD knows nothing about will be honoredly listed on the high-risk list, and the person in front of him obviously meets all the above conditions at the same time.

But at least the only dealings between ATV and the other party, it looks like he doesn't look like an enemy.

"We are on the side, Director Colson, like Captain Maywell here," Michael said. "As Mr. Stark said before, time is tight. Make a decision as soon as possible so that we can agree on countermeasures."

Colson hesitated, and he subconsciously cast his eyes to Captain America for advice. Rogers nodded and said, "I can't say it firmly, but on my own, I think Maywell deserves a chance. Maybe we should at least hear what he said."

Since the idols had spoken, Colson naturally had no objection. He nodded to Maywell and said, "So let me tell you the details. Who is coming to Earth? What do they want?"

So Maywell repeated the transaction between Thanos and the accuser Ronan, as well as the fact that Ronan was about to come to Earth to seize the cosmic cube for the interstellar conqueror.

"Cosmic Cube." Colson hugged his arm and frowned. "My people just discovered that some aliens might be searching for the location of the Cosmic Cube. The gamma signal they sent was captured by the Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube then activated itself and sent a reply message in the direction of the incoming message..."

"It's Ronan, there's no mistake." Maywell said confidently.

"I'm so glad to see you so sure, at least we know the opponent's name." Colson said angrily, "It would be better if you could hear that you have a plan. What suggestions do you have?"

Maywell thought for a while.

"Maybe..." he hesitated, "...To be honest, I think your only chance is surrender."

"What?" Colson's eyebrows leaped.

"Surrender." Maywell repeated, "Take the cube to take the initiative to avoid angering Ronan. Then I will plead with Ronan and ask him to bring the cube and leave immediately, so that the earth can be preserved."

"Man, you almost start to make me suspect that you came here on purpose to deceive us into betraying trust and fool us to give up resisting and hand over the Rubik's Cube." Tony shouted.

"I said, this is the only way," Maywell argued. "Ronan has an invincible army, and that's not something you can resist! I'm trying to find a way to help you survive this disaster."

"We will consider your proposal, but that's the final solution," Colson said bluntly and displeased. "But if surrender is the best way you can bring, you can take the lead. As we discuss the response strategy, you can stay in the lower isolation cabin first until we figure out a solution."

Maywell shook his head.

They didn't understand at all. Ronan's strength was beyond their understanding, and with the existing human ability, he could not defeat Ronan's Kerry fleet. This was the best solution he had come up with. Even if A.D. Shield really accepted his proposal to hand over the Rubik's Cube, he was actually not sure that he could convince Ronan to stop and retreat.

The accuser Ronan has never been so far merciless to let go of any precedent of the planet he aims at, and Maywell doesn't feel much hope that he can convince him to make an exception for the earth.

"I believe you are really thinking about humanity." Michael spoke. His voice was a little mechanically low with the special treatment of the armor, but his tone was very calm. "But what you want to do is not a choice you can make for us. You know what the consequences will be for handing over the universe Rubik's Cube. Ronan will hand it over to Thanos - a worse existence. One day this choice will lead to greater disasters back to Earth... until then, even the entire universe."

The current foreign enemies are now without the time to argue about the fact that the universe Cube is held in the hands of the ASCHEN. But if they surrender according to Maywell's suggestion, hand over the universe Cube to Ronan, and then fall into Thanos's hands, it will lay a huge hidden danger for the future.

Maywell did not deny it, and said, "I know this is just a temporary measure, but you have no choice. You don't understand Ronan. I don't see any hope for you against Ronan's army."

"Ronan doesn't know us either," Michael said.

The Captain Marvel was surprised to find that although the tone of the Earthlings who had always hidden their faces under the cold armor kept the calmness of Gujing Wubo, it also brought powerful persuasive power that he could not explain. The words he said so plainly and simply seemed to have added inexplicable confidence in the chances of humanity, and his impatient mood in his heart also calmed down a little.

But reason tells him that the chance of winning of mankind is still the same as none.

"Listen, I don't expect you to trust me," Maywell still refused to give up, "but you must understand..."

The second half of his sentence was flooded by a loud roar of lightning. It was the roar of lightning from the black clouds. The blue dragon rolled in the flashing clouds. The lightning spear pierced the sky. The strong light penetrated through the glass of the bridge, reflecting everyone's face.

Colson was stunned: "Why don't I remember the weather forecast saying there was a thunderstorm today?"

"Because there is no today, sir." The person who replied was Fitz, who was next to the laboratory bench. He looked nervous and breathed rapidly. "This area is clear and there is only a thunder cloud above our heads."

"We have a company," Michael said.

They came to the outside deck, and the strong wind blew in. Thunder and lightning shot straight from the sky, and a fuzzy figure wrapped in high-speed slammed onto the deck of the mothership, smashing huge net-shaped cracks on the shutdown runway.

"That's not cheap," Colson muttered.

The tall and big man stood up. He was wearing black armor in retro style, blonde hair, and a red cloak behind him, holding an ancient warhammer with a mysterious breath in his hand. The gloomy sky was the curtain for him, and the lightning and thunder were his background. The aura that shocked the world surrounded the man invisibly. The approaching person would unconsciously feel the urge to surrender.

Thor, the powerful god in Norse legend, is in charge of thunder and lightning.

He walked towards everyone with great strides.

"Soldiers of the Atrium, I am Thor from Asgard." He said, "I have an extremely important thing here that I have to warn you. It's about the cosmic cube..."

The God of Thunder suddenly stopped, and his gaze, which was as powerful as lightning, locked directly on Captain Marvel.

"Kerry!"

Thor shouted loudly, with his eyebrows and eyes wide open, and he lifted the hammer and wanted to take action.

Colson holds his forehead.
