Chapter 96 The Huns Rebellion

The Huns were a nomadic people. They had been entrenched in the Hetao area at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the beginning of the Han Dynasty, which was Qinghai, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, and western Shanxi in the 21st century. They came and went like the wind, mainly relying on grazing and plundering the Wei. The Huns were tall and full of explosive power. Because they had been herding horses and sheep on horseback since childhood, their riding skills were superb, which was far beyond the ability of the Han people.

In 202 BC, Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang defeated Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu, and unified the Central Plains. At the same time, the rapidly developing Xiongnu tribe also reached its peak, from a population of more than 200,000 to 500,000 or 600,000. The whole people were soldiers, and the strong soldiers who could go to the battlefield reached more than 100,000. Taking advantage of the fact that the Han Dynasty had just founded and the regime was unstable, they plundered Bingzhou in large numbers, causing trouble for the border.

In 196 BC, King Xin of Han rebelled and joined forces with the Huns Maodun Shanyu to plunder Bingzhou and kill the people. In order to stabilize the frontier and attack the arrogance of the Huns, Emperor Gaozu of Han personally led an army of 320,000 people north to Yunzhong area to attack the Huns and the rebel King Xin of Han.

It should be pointed out that this Han Wangxin was not the well-known "Sage of War" Han Xin, the Marquis of Huaiyin, who was later known as Han Xin, but the concubine son of Han Xiang, a Korean nobleman during the Warring States Period. After Liu Bang unified the world, he was named King of Han, and later called him King of Han Xin. Because Empress Lü eliminated the heroes and killed King Yingbu of Jiujiang, King Han Xin of Chu, and King Peng Yue of Liang. King of Han Xin was worried that he would follow their footsteps, so she surrendered to the Xiongnu Shanyu Maodun and joined forces to rob the territory of the Han Dynasty.

Emperor Gaozu led a large army to fight in person. In the early days, the Han army won victory after strict military discipline and elite combat weapons. Later, due to underestimating the enemy, he was defeated by the Huns' plan to lure the enemy. Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang and 20,000 vanguard troops were trapped on Baideng Mountain in Pingcheng. They were besieged by the Huns for seven days and seven nights, and completely cut off contact with the main army behind them.

With ice and snow, lack of soldiers and food, the founding emperor Gaozu Liu Bang was in danger. Fortunately, the adviser Chen Ping offered a plan and bribed the Shanyu Yan with jewelry, and the beautiful man's plan to arouse the generals, and then he broke the siege of the white horse.

After this battle, Emperor Gaozu was frustrated and believed that resolving disputes with the Huns by force alone was not desirable. So he adopted a policy of mercy and opened a market with the Huns, which lasted for decades. Until later, Emperor Wu of Han ascended the throne and the Han Dynasty's national strength became stronger. Emperor Wu then changed the policy of the emperor of the previous dynasty and began to use force to attack the Huns.

With Wei Qing and Huo Qubing, two unparalleled generals, emerged. The Han army defeated the Huns in the Western Regions and won many battles. They beheaded tens of thousands, captured millions of livestock, and even captured more than a dozen uncles and nephews of the Huns' uncles and nephews, which severely hit the Huns' arrogance and drove the Huns out of the fertile Hetao Plain, causing the Huns to decline from prosperity. Some Hun tribes had no choice but to go west and entered Europe to seek a life.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the regime was called Yi [***]. First the Yellow Turban Rebellion, then the Black Turban Bandits, Baibo Bandits and others caused rebellion. The princes rose up and each ruled their own affairs. The Huns made a comeback and invaded the territory of the Han Dynasty again. Taking advantage of Li Jue and Guo Si invaded Chang'an, they also invaded the two capitals in large numbers and plundered in Luoyang and Chang'an. The court was unable to resist and could only allow the Huns barbarians to plunder.

During the Li and Guo rebellions, the Huns captured tens of thousands of women and hundreds of thousands of livestock in Bingzhou and returned with a full load. The people in the Central Plains lived in vain. Later, the Huns were unevenly divided into spoils and civil strife broke out. The rebels killed Shanyu Quqiang. Later, the son of Quqiang Yu Fuluo succeeded to the throne and cleared the rebels, and appointed his younger brother Hu Chuquan as the Left King, Go to Bei as the Right King, and continue to cause rebellion in the western part of Bingzhou and the northern part of Silizhou.

After Dong Zhuo's death, Yuan Shao became the overlord of the north, and used both soft and hard work to the Huns, hoping to recover the Huns' tribes. However, the Huns were untrustworthy, sometimes surrendered and sometimes caused chaos, which caused Yuan Shao a headache. He had to station troops in the border to guard against the Huns' invasion.

With the existence of Yuan Shao, a powerful warlord, the Huns did not dare to be too presumptuous, and they have always been mainly engaged in small-scale guerrilla harassment. In the past four or five years, the reason why they gathered 50,000 troops and invaded Shangdang this time was not only angered Zhang He's active attack, but also responded to Gongsun Zan's invitation to rescue the siege of the city Yijing.

The Huns were good at riding and shooting, with excellent mounts, and they came and went like the wind. All 50,000 people were cavalry. Grassland combat was their advantage, while siege of cities and villages was their weakness. Therefore, the Huns surrounded Shangdang but did not attack. They just robbed the surroundings, burned, killed and robbed, and waited for Yuan Shao's army to come to rescue.

Seeing the Huns rampant in a radius of hundreds of miles, Zhang He was furious and went out of the city to fight the Huns several times. However, the infantry against the cavalry was at a loss, and he had no chance of winning when his troops were at a disadvantage. He fought several times, and lost more than 3,000 soldiers and more than 3,000 people were lost. He had to retreat to Shangdang and continue to defend the enemy.

The senior officials of Bingzhou, who were directly under his command, were stationed in Jinyang, the capital of Taiyuan. There were about 20,000 troops in the county and state. However, his cavalry had only 6,000. If infantry fight against the Hun cavalry, they would inevitably suffer a great loss. Therefore, the senior officials left 10,000 people to station in Jinyang, and led 30,000 people to slowly move south, walking only thirty miles each time. The purpose was nothing more than waiting for Yuan Mai and Qu Yi's Yanmen soldiers to arrive, let them take the lead first and reduce the casualties of their troops.

In April, flowers are in full bloom, and the fields are green. But the horse's hooves are flying around rolling up dust, shattering the beautiful ink painting!

The flags were waving at the top of Shangdang's city, swords and spears were shining, and nearly 20,000 defenders were spread all over the city, so they strictly prevented the Huns from suddenly attacking the city. However, they had been trapped for more than half a month, but the Huns only besieged the city and did not attack, and then led their troops to rob them everywhere, which made the defenders in the city very depressed. However, after going out to fight a few battles, they could not take advantage, so they could only watch the people being harmed by the Huns.

"General, look, the Huns are robbed back again!" a captain shouted loudly.

The big flag of the character "Zhang" fluttered in the wind. A general who was seven feet or eight inches tall, with a handsome face and sharp eyes pressed the hilt of the sword and glared at the city. His physique was not burly, but his arms were long, his hands were thick and strong, and his legs were strong. Such a person was most suitable for martial arts. He was one of the "Four Pillars of Hebei" under Yuan Shao. Zhang He, whose courtesy name was Junyi, was now appointed as the General of the Knight Cavalry.

After hearing the captain's words, Zhang He looked around and saw a team of Hun cavalry two or three miles east, with about a thousand people driving the people to the cattle and sheep.

The so-called people are mostly women and children. Women go back and are assigned to be slaves and coolies. Children are kept to do rough work when they grow up. Because they are young, they are easy to train. As for adult men and the elderly and weak, they kill mercilessly.

At this moment, their heads were hanging bloodily on the necks of the Hun cavalry. One horse was one or two less, and the other was three or five more. The blood was covered with blood and the blood stains had not dried up yet...

The woman was tied to a long rope, walking forward like a long dragon. If she walked slowly, she would be thrust hard on her body. This was still light. If the beast surname of the Huns was stimulated, she would pull it out of the team regardless of everything, and drag it to the side of the road, and annihilated the dirty in public like beasts, without any shame. The other Hun soldiers screamed evilly, whistled, and shouted the barbarian language to cheer for it...

If the woman is a little rebellious, after the Huns vent their animal desires, they will mercilessly stab the weapons in their hands into the woman's lower body. For them, being able to hear the screams of Han women is a kind of enjoyment, full of the pleasure of conquest, so they constantly absorb joy in the killing and enjoy it!

"Huhhh...huhh...hoho..."

Accompanied by the screams of the Huns, a bearded Hun soldier dragged a slightly slower woman out of the crowd. She looked about twenty-six or seven years old, with a dirt on her face and couldn't see her appearance clearly, but her figure was very plump...

"Wow, what about Ayi Mixi!"

The Hun soldiers let out a roar like a ghost cry, turned over and dismounted, grabbed the woman's ankle with both hands, and dragged it mercilessly to the roadside. Behind him and in front of him, the Hun companions immediately made a series of ghost cry to cheer him...

"Beast, let me go!"

The woman let out a shrill scream, trying to resist. But facing the tall and big barbarian, she was futile and was thrust on her face by two big mouths, and blood immediately overflowed along the corners of her mouth...

“Wowhaha…”

The Huns let out a silver laugh, and with a "scream", tearing apart the woman's coarse cloth tops, revealing two white milks. The barbarians burst into laughter and rushed forward, touching and gnawing for a while.

"Beast, I'll fight you!"

The Han woman struggled hard, trying to push away the Hun barbarians, but where could she push them? She kicked the other party with both feet, but the barbarians grabbed her ankle with a smirk, pulled her pants hard, and she became naked in front of her.

"Ho huh..."

The Huns barbarians pressed the woman under the top of the mountain, and spread the women's legs rudely and roughly. Due to the excessive force, you can even hear the "click" sound of the Han women's bones. The severe pain made the women scream in tragic, but the Huns' warriors on the horse team were even more rampant laughter and screams, as well as whistles...

The burly Hun soldiers took off their pants and lay on the half-coma woman and stalked. After the beast was about to vent, they breathed a sigh of relief, tied up their belts, then touched the Hun sword beside them, stabbed them mercilessly from the woman's lower body, and came out of the heart. Then they waved the knife and chopped off their heads. Finally, they walked to the horse, hung their bloody head on the horse's neck, turned over and entered the horse team...

For them, there are enough women who have robbed back. As long as they are not the peerless beauty of the country, they can be killed at any time, and their heads are their military achievements.

"All the cavalry followed me out of the city to fight against this barbarian, kill the barbarians, and save the people!" Zhang He's hair was all over his beard and hair, and his liver and gallbladder were about to break. He touched the tiger-headed golden spear and ordered loudly.
