Hidden ghost

The inn is divided into two floors, and at a glance, you can tell that the first floor is used to pick up guests for dinner and stay on the second floor. But the warrior didn't seem to have plans to go up to the second floor. He put together a long bench in the lobby.

The warrior said: "We will be here tonight. Don't go up to the second floor. The warrior said, and suddenly looked at Ye Wuque with great seriousness and repeated: "Don't go up to the second floor."

After hearing what the warrior said, Ye Wuque felt even more uneasy. He always felt that there were eyes looking at Ye Wuque in the dark on the second floor. Ye Wuque stayed obediently on the stool, watched the warrior close the gate of the inn, and sealed the way for several people to escape.

The forest outside the window rustled at night, like the low sound of some monster. Ye Wuque suddenly remembered a past event a long time ago: "A lonely woman died in Taohua Village. The woman's surname was Wang. When she was alive, she often sat alone at the entrance of the village and watched the sun set silently. She was an introverted person, rarely talking to people, and had few expressions on her face. Lao Li said that she was waiting for her husband to leave. Ye Wuque asked Lao Li, why didn't she go out to find him? Lao Li said that she knew that she could not find him when she went out, and she would not wait here. Her husband had died outside."

Ye Wuque didn't understand her behavior of waiting for the person she wanted to wait. Once, Ye Wuque and Ling'er played at the village head, and both of them were attracted by the lonely and focused backs of the woman.

Ling'er suddenly said, "If you go out one day, I will always be here to wait for you."

As the sun sets, the bright sunset and the woman and Ling'er both looked particularly mysterious and beautiful. I wonder if the woman heard Ye Wuque and the others talking, but the woman suddenly turned her head and showed an extremely gentle smile to the few people. Ye Wuque will never forget that smile, the kind of tenderness that only contains in the eyes of a lonely person.

Later, the woman never sat at the village head and waited for her husband. A few days later, everyone found her body. She fell on the beam and died, with a peaceful smile on her face. Ye Wuque remembered that Lao Li was a little surprised when he saw the body. He said: "What a great happiness it should be to make a person who was hanged resist the pain and smile like this in the end.

He said: "Some people live, but with some important people dying, these people are dead, and they are just a corpse left in the world. This woman has finally gone to where she should go. Perhaps her husband has been waiting for him there for a long time."

Ye Wuque remembered clearly. Ye Wuque saw that Lao Li's eyes had a strong yearning at that time, as if he wanted to go to that place too.

Ye Wuque asked Lao Li, do you want to go to that place too? Lao Li smiled and looked at Ye Wuque. That was the gentle expression that Lao Li rarely had. Lao Li did not answer my question, but Ye Wuque seemed to know from his eyes that Lao Li actually yearned for the place where the ghost was, and the reason why he had not yet gone was Ye Wuque.

But in fact, Lao Li was wrong. She had not left yet, and she was still in the village. After the woman died, Ye Wuque often saw her back sitting at the head of the village in a daze, and the moment she turned around and smiled at Ye Wuque. The gentle eyes seemed to be able to tolerate everything. Ye Wuque saw her but Ye Wuque was not afraid at all. Ye Wuque said to Ling'er, but Ling'er said she didn't see...

Will people become ghosts after death? Maybe Ye Wuque is thinking too much, or maybe it is just an illusion of Ye Wuque alone.

The warrior turned off the oil lamp and sat at the counter with his back against the wall with his eyes closed. Ye Wuque lay on the bench set up by the warrior. The moonlight outside the window sprinkled into the room, and everything was dim but clear. Ye Wuque could even see the warrior's serious expression and a string of Buddhist beads on his wrist.

The surroundings were so quiet that Ye Wuque was not sleepy and asked in a low voice: "Are you asleep?

The warrior said, "No."

Ye Wuque said: "Then can I ask you something?"

Samurai: "Ask."

Ye Wuque said: "How did you know that everyone in this inn is dead?"

Samurai: "Everyone of the Dragon Scale's facial features are very sharp. When I stood outside the door, I smelled the smell of rotten corpses in the air."

Ye Wuque said: "Then they have been dead for a long time?"

Samurai: "Die for four days."

Ye Wuque suddenly remembered that the three soldiers before seemed to say that they had been looking for the village where they had accompanied the warrior for four days. Ye Wuque said, "Have you lived here four days ago?"

The warrior said: "Have lived."

Ye Wuque said: "Then are they all dead because of you?"

Samurai: "That's right."

Ye Wuque said: "Then... will people really become ghosts when they die? Will they often appear in places where they live? Will the three officers and soldiers who had their throats cut before turn into ghosts to come to you?"

As soon as Ye Wuque finished asking, a long wolf howl came from afar. In the moonlight, Ye Wuque obviously saw the warrior's face moving and confused. He suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Ye Wuque and said, "You want to ask if there are any ghosts in the inn, right?"

Ye Wuque nodded silently, and he continued: "There is no ghost after death. If you can still see the dead, it is just because the obsession in the life was too deep. What you saw was his obsession."

Ye Wuque could not understand. But the warrior did not continue to answer Ye Wuque. He walked up to me, took off the Buddhist beads in his hand and put them on Ye Wuque's hand. He smiled and said, "Don't think too much, rest early, we will rush to go as soon as tomorrow dawn."

Ye Wuque had always had difficulty falling asleep. He kept thinking about the obsessions that the warrior said, the lonely woman, the three warriors who were escaping their bloody throats, and the original owner of the inn. Unfortunately, Ye Wuque had never seen them. They might be short uncles who often had polite smiles, or the coquettish proprietress who often ogled... I gradually thought that I was tired and sleepy, and Ye Wuque fell asleep.

When the warrior woke Ye Wuque up, it was not yet bright. The sun had just climbed to the top of the mountain, and the top of the mountain was dazzlingly sunrise.

The warrior changed into ordinary folk outfits, but he still couldn't stop the mighty aura emitted from his whole body. He said that in order to be less attractive, he would wear casually. The clothes were found on the second floor.

He simply packed up a bag and took Ye Wuque out of the inn. After leaving the inn, the warrior set fire to the inn. Ye Wuque watched him silently finish everything, and the inn was soon surrounded by a raging fire.

The two of them stared at the fire for a while. The warrior said, "Let's go."

Ye Wuque followed him and set sail again. Ye Wuque said, "Actually... you killed the people in the inn, right?"

The warrior was not surprised, and he didn't even look at Ye Wuque, as if he knew Ye Wuque would say this.

Ye Wuque continued: "You lived here four days ago. When you left, you were afraid that they would reveal your whereabouts, so you killed them, just like you killed those three officers and soldiers. Because you were afraid that people passing by would find them, you hid their bodies on the second floor. In order to make it easier for us to rest here when we came back, they burned their houses to silence. After saying that, Ye Wuque secretly glanced at the tall warrior and found that he was looking at Ye Wuque. There was a seriousness that looked very similar to Lao Li in his eyes. That seriousness seemed to be blaming Ye Wuque for doing something wrong. But suddenly a feeling of resistance arose inexplicably. Ye Wuque looked at the warrior without shyness, waiting for his answer."

He sighed softly, returned to his expressionless look and walked forward, saying, "You really look very similar to him.

Ye Wuque said: "Who is he?"

The warrior said, "Your father."

Ye Wuque was stunned and asked, "Who is my father?"

Warrior: "I can't tell you. But I believe that one day you will know who he is. I can only tell you that your father is wise and extremely powerful. But even in the face of absolute interests, he will always stand on the weak side, and he is willing to give everything for it, even his life. But... in this dark dynasty, kindness is the most fatal weakness."

Ye Wuque asked incredible feelings: "How did you know my life experience? Do you have special abilities?"

The warrior smiled and said, "Special ability? That is the ability that is unique to your lineage. I don't have that qualification. Also, the people in the inn were not killed by me. The murderer... we may meet soon."

After two days in a strange and deserted land, I finally met a small town in the evening.

The town is particularly lively, with bright lights on the streets and people coming and going. Countless river lanterns float on the rivers passing through the town. Most of the people stood quietly by the river, with river lanterns solemnly on the faces. Children ran around the streets. This was the first time since they left their hometown that they had seen so many strangers.

Ye Wuque looked around happily and asked the warrior next to Ye Wuque: "Why is this so lively at night? If it were placed in Taohua Village at this time, it would definitely be closed to sleep."

The warrior said: "This town is not so lively, but today is the death day of this town. Many years ago, many people in this town died on this day. Have you seen those river lanterns? This is to commemorate the people who died in the town that day. Every river lantern represents a life that once lived here."

Ye Wuque looked at the dense river lanterns floating on the river, and his heart sank inexplicably. He was also very curious about what happened many years ago today that so many people lost their lives at the same time. In fact, Ye Wuque himself was not afraid of death. Ye Wuque had attended other people's funerals before. Ye Wuque had imagined what would happen if the person they mourned was Ye Wuque, but Ye Wuque could not think of the result anyway, but he just felt that his heart was very heavy.

To be precise, Ye Wuque did not understand what death is. Ye Wuque always saw some dead people in the trance of his vision. Lao Li said that death was a complete disappearance from this world and would never appear in front of anyone again. But Ye Wuque felt that he was wrong, and Ye Wuque clearly saw them.

So Ye Wuque is not afraid of death. Ye Wuque thought that if Ye Wuque dies one day, he will just live in another way. He may be subject to some constraints and may lose some freedom.

The group lived in an inn with cold business. The town looked unusually crowded tonight, but the inn was deserted as if it was alone in the mountains. This feeling of isolation from the world made Ye Wuque think that stepping into the inn was like entering another world.

The boss was a small man in his fifties. He looked extremely happy to see the visitor. The boss took out a rag from the counter and greeted several people in a slight manner. He asked with a smile: "Do you stay in the hotel?"

It seems that the owner and the guy in the store are the same person. The warrior glanced at the boss, then took Ye Wuque to the store, threw three broken silvers on the empty table and said, "We will stay for one night and leave tomorrow morning.

The boss put away the money, and the smile on his face became even more serious. He piled up smiles and walked in front of several people to lead the way.

After two days of life in the wild, Ye Wuque was exhausted physically and mentally. The warrior asked the boss to arrange for Ye Wuque to take a hot bath, eat and drink dinner, and lay comfortably on the big bed in the guest room. The warrior also found a stool and sat by the window, just like usual.

Ye Wuque thought he was asleep, so he got up and blew out the oil lamp gently. Just as the room was dark, a dark figure suddenly appeared in front of me. Ye Wuque collapsed in place in an instant. This figure was blurred like a shadow reflected in the river, but it was probably obvious that he was a young man with a fleshy body. You could tell at a glance that he was not an ordinary person. Ye Wuque knew that this was the dead person who would never appear in front of the world. Simply put, Ye Wuque knew that Ye Wuque had seen a ghost again.

Ye Wuque and the shadow stared at each other for a long time. The shadow gradually stretched out his finger and pointed to the door, and then the shadow slowly disappeared.
