Chapter 47 The Secret Train

The rumbling sound continued, as if a gust of wind was passing through the night, which was the sound of the trains of Gotham's all-night shifts galloping by.

Gotham's railway is well-connected, like a spider web entrenched throughout the city, with silk threads extending to every smallest corner of the city. It was built by Thomas Wayne, former president of the Wayne Group, as if using threads to connect all corners of the city.

Thomas often said that the people of this city were always suffering, and countless poor people needed far more help than they are now, and it was the unshirkable responsibility of all their wealthy people. His spirit affected many people during that time... until he died of a devastating death.

But the railway was preserved at least, just as Thomas imagined. It is centered on the Wayne Building and connects every area of the huge city of night. The train departs 24 hours a day and almost all the trains lead to the local area. It is the best public transportation system in the country. The departure time of each train is displayed on the station's large LED sign.

But this train is not on the departure list.

Eric followed Batman on the roof of the galloping midnight train, and the violent wind blew the Dark Knight's cloak to fly violently.

"In fact, I have recently investigated Wayne's business," Batman said while moving forward. "Internal records I found through certain channels show that Bruce Wayne used the train in his private name. He arranged it privately, and even did not even publicly, seemed to be to cover up the news."

Eric subconsciously asked, "Why?"

“That’s why we’re here.”

Eric was secretly wondering, wasn't Bruce in front of him? Who else would be the one who dressed like a mammal in the middle of the night?

If this train was arranged privately by him, then what did they come here to check? Could it be that this guy really lived a second-level identity for too long and finally got a sequel?

He left this thought that he felt nonsense after thinking about it, and finally didn't ask. After all, he shouldn't know Batman's identity now.

"By the way, I've been asking," Eric said, "What's going on with the big guy who attacked me before? Have you taken drugs?"

"Absolutely." Batman explained, "Last night, I encountered an old friend of mine in Arkham Asylum and used the same potion, but it was larger than the dose you encountered today and had a stronger effect. I took serum samples for analysis and found that this potion could be used to eliminate the fear in humans, and could greatly activate physical abilities and make human muscles incredibly strengthen.

"But that has side effects," Eric said.

"Yes, that comes with a price," Batman said. "The human body itself will reject this agent, and the end result is that blood will flow out of the eye sockets and spray the nasal membrane. If you don't stop in time, it may cause permanent damage."

"It sounds quite scary."

"It's unimaginable," Batman said. "If you don't know the situation in Gotham, the market for circulation will cause great chaos. I have to find out the source of the potion and completely destroy it."

When he said this, he had already stopped and half-squatted down.

"Just burst into this carriage," he said. "There are guns on the hands of four people inside."

Eric smiled: "A piece of cake."

Inside the carriage.

The incandescent tube flashed twice without warning, and then went out with a "buzz" sound. The darkness broke into the carriage silently.

Four gun-carrying guards were startled and immediately alerted. You have to learn to be familiar with one thing in Gotham's gangster - if you can touch all your lights and turn off at the same time, it may mean that you are about to face the most terrifying nightmare in your criminal career.

"Clang!"

The two windows on the left and right cracked at the same time, and two human figures shot into the air.

The gunshot sounded, and the fire flashed, illuminating the dark space intermittently, like a camera that captured continuously. Batman had already caught the bat dart while landing on the ground and rolling. Two darts swirled out and accurately knocked off the guns of the two guards. The black shadow spread its cloak, as if a six-foot bat had spread its wings, slapped and flew to it quickly.

A guard on the left subconsciously punched, but almost the moment he punched his arm, his arm was squeezed by the grappling technique. A force that followed the direction of his move was pulled, and he was pulled over his shoulder by his arm. Before he could even reminisce about the pain of intimate contact with the floor, his black fist fell down on the bridge of his nose and knocked him unconscious.

Of course, all of this happened in an instant. The other man did not react until his companion fell down, and "brushed" the cold dagger, revealing a resolute ruthless look. He tried his best to pretend to be fearless, and the sword light was waving like a curtain.

The guard seemed to know some skills, and a dagger danced like a decent dance. Batman calmly avoided his sharp edge and took two steps back. The sharp cold light in his eyes wandered between the blades looking for flaws.

The black cloak shook violently, Batman's right foot flew up, and in one move, he broke through the seemingly impenetrable sword light, kicking the other party in the chest, causing him to fall down immediately, and throwing the dagger far away.

Compared to Batman, Eric's way of solving the battle is much simpler. After he broke through the window, he flashed to a guard almost instantly with the increase in physical fitness through the armor power system. He pushed the opponent's chest with force, and the guard flew backwards as if he was being pulled by huge force, hitting the door panel at the end of the carriage and fainted.

The other man quickly turned his gun and spit out a long tongue of flames at Eric. The bullets flew around the silver deck in front of Amozhu's armored chest, and the sparks were like a reduced version of summer fireworks.

But that didn't stop him from moving forward. The amazing explosive power of the armor made him flash in front of the guy in almost the blink of an eye. Erick knocked his knee down and pinched his collar with one hand, lifted it upwards and his arm armor made a low sound similar to the engine's operation. The guard was thrown onto the roof of the car, and the back hit the ceiling upwards, and then fell softly back to the ground, without any movement.

The battle was resolved in an instant, Eric and Batman looked at each other and continued to walk towards the last car.

At this moment, the car door exploded with a "boom", and the metal door panel collapsed as if it was shocked by an astonishing external force. Thick smoke and dust spread out from behind the door, and a tall outline appeared behind the door.

It is obvious that it is another guy who is fortified with the same drug.

Both of them were ready to face the challenge.

With the size of that big guy, he seemed to be unable to get in through such a small door. He stretched out his hands and pinched the sides of the door frame separately, and pulled it roughly with brute force to help him get into this carriage.

After seeing the identity of the visitor, both of them couldn't help but shrink their pupils, and they were surprised to forget to fight back.

"Bruce...!?" Batman murmured.

The huge figure that appeared behind the door was Bruce Wayne.
