Chapter 352 Uninvited guests

New York, Avengers Building.

Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, two people with the most intelligent things on the earth, are now escaping from the building's laboratory in a dirt. The exhaust system in the laboratory is running at full power, and they try their best to extract the black smoke from the laboratory.

"Oh my God, Stark," Banner said, wiping his tears and coughing, "Do you know that this stimulation may cause me to lose control and transform me?"

"This structural design is obviously your idea." Tony said in a embarrassed look, "I'm not stupid enough to add so many extra protective measures to the protective cover of the energy field. It's because your excessive protection makes it too stressed and the energy overflow will explode."

"It's obviously you who emphasizes safety first!" Banner said unconvincedly, "Who said that the new design structure can improve the energy utilization rate of the reactor, but I need to help design safety measures?"

"But I didn't call you..."

Jarvis' gentle voice interrupted their conversation: "Sir, I don't want to disturb you, but you seem to have a visitor."

"Tell him to wait in the hall, we are not finished here yet."

"Uh, I'm afraid he's coming up, sir."

When Tony turned around, he saw that Eric, in armor, had broken the door lock with his bare hands, pushed open the door leading to the balcony, and walked in quickly with a coma patient Zero on his shoulder, and threw the gray big guy on the floor.

"Do you know I won't let you compensate me for my lock or what... Wait, is this guy patient zero?"

When Tony saw Eric throwing patient zero, he immediately became serious and asked, "What's going on? Shouldn't he be on the ASCHD's aircraft carrier? Have you snatched him out?"

"No, he escaped by himself." Eric said lightly.

"So why did you bring him here?" Tony asked. "Since he's fainted again now, shouldn't you lock him up?"

"Because I don't trust ASCHEUN." Eric said, "Something is happening lately, something that is likely to be related to the ASCHEUN virus. I have reason to believe ASCHEUN - or even Lex Luther - may know something, but do nothing."

Tony frowned: "More details."

Eric spent about three minutes briefly telling the recent story, emphasizing the sudden rage of patient Zero and a series of unconsciously abnormal words.

"...He said I should be able to sense it, and in fact I can do it," Eric said. "I vaguely seem to hear a voice calling me, or the sub-modrama virus in my body. I think there may be some intrinsic connection between all sub-modrama viruses, and now what changes may be happening. I need you to help me thoroughly check the body of patient zero to see if I can find out what this change is."

"Well...well," Tony glanced at Banner, "It seems we're busy again, Dr. Banner."

"What? I want it too?"

"Of course, you are the elite in biology? Researching viruses is definitely more professional than me, right?" Tony said without saying a word and pulled him back to the lab, "Don't refuse, come on, I think you're idle anyway, right?"

"Wow, it's your turn to be on duty today. I was just forced to stay and do some new energy research..."

"Okay OK, how about I treat you back? Fred's pizza is full?"

"......make a deal."

After they dragged patient zero into the laboratory for a detailed and thorough examination, both experts showed serious expressions.

"Although I don't understand these professional results very well," Eric asked, "but from your expressions, I guess the situation is very bad?"

"Your guess is right." Dr. Banner said, holding his chin. "I have never seen a virus with such a strange characteristic. Every virus is constantly releasing and receiving some biological signal. It may be strange to say that, but they seem to be constantly exchanging information."

“It feels like social software,” Tony added, “the viruses in all different individuals can theoretically communicate with each other, like through some shared web chat.”

"So the sound I heard was the sound of other viruses chatting with viruses in my body?" Eric asked, feeling a little strange.

"It shouldn't be." Tony said, "I also studied the sub-modroviruses when the virus broke out in New York last time. Although they had shown some synergy at that time, they are different now. Some triggers cause them to have collective mutations, and I guess that trigger should be their center. If we use that example, the viruses scattered in different individuals are just users of social software, and the trigger for the recent viral mutation is the company that provides social platforms."

"So that's the enemy we should face?"

"It's not certain, but it's very likely." Banner said, "and if this guess is true, then that enemy... is likely to be the source of the virus."

Is the source of the Yamozhu virus?

Eric couldn't help but clench his fists.

"But it's just a guess." Tony continued, "If there will be any other changes in the future, it needs to be observed. This guy will stay here before this. Don't think too much, go back and rest first. I will notify you of any new changes."

Eric glanced at the coma patient Zero for a last glance.

"Okay," he said, "thank you."

Then Eric said goodbye. Looking at his back as he left the balcony, Tony sighed: "This kid is also having a headache. After all, so many things have happened... right, Banner?"

Banner smiled bitterly: "Who of us is not like this?"

What they didn't notice was that just as their eyes were looking away, Patient Zero's closed eyelids seemed to move slightly.

It was already very late after leaving the Avengers Building, and Eric went home straight away. However, his mentality had eased down now - so many storms have come so far, no matter what kind of enemies he has to face this time, he is mentally prepared to fight.

The moment he took out the key and opened the door lock, a familiar throbbing appeared in his heart again, as if a cold impact penetrated the door panel and rushed into his heart.

After a pause in his movements, Eric's expression became solemn. He gently pushed open the door, and with the sound of the old door "creaking", the bright lights in the living room were projected out bit by bit.

Padric Charlotte's bionic body was sitting on the sofa in the living room with his legs raised, waving to him, really like a parent who was welcoming his son home.
