Chapter 324 Amnesia

Consciousness wandered in the darkness, and for a long time, Eric could hardly feel his existence.

He could vaguely feel that he was drifting with the flow like a dead tree falling into the water. After floating for a long time, he seemed to be finally caught by someone.

In a daze, he seemed to feel himself lying on a hard bed, and the burning light on his head made people dizzy. The surroundings seemed to be surrounded by people in a long white jacket, and they were talking about something around the bed, but unfortunately the sound sounded like something coming from underwater.

Eric subconsciously avoided the dazzling lights, and problems appeared instinctively in his head.

Who are they? Where is this? How did I come here?

No, before that...who am I?

It felt as if his consciousness had been in a daze for a century. He finally opened his eyes, sat up suddenly, and looked around carefully.

This seems to be a dull room—painted walls, a standard desk, and the cheap flat bed he was lying on, and two incandescent tubes were installed on the ceiling above his head.

He hesitated for a moment, walked out of the bed, pushed the door open and walked out of the room. Outside was a long corridor, and there were many similar rooms on both sides, which reminded people of perhaps some kind of dormitory.

"woke up?"

A calm voice came from behind him. Eric subconsciously turned around, but saw Death Knell wrapping his hands in front of his chest, leaning against the door and talking to him.

"What an accident, I'll meet you here." Death Bell said, "What are you doing when you're fine?"

Eric did not answer immediately, but looked up and down with suspicious eyes for a while.

Then, he spoke tentatively, "I'm sorry, but... have we seen it?"

Death knives narrowed his one-eye.

"Are you kidding, or are your magical armor having forgetful side effects?"

"Wait, what armor? What are you talking about?" Eric rubbed the sun and shook his head, "No, wait, before that... do you know who I am? It seems... I can't remember much..."

Death Knell rarely showed a surprised expression.

Then, he smiled slightly: "Now, this is interesting."

In the palace.

The woods that fought fiercely last night were now in a mess, and the guards in uniform were coming and going in the forest. Under Princess Mia's personal command, they had almost flipped through the entire palace, but still no trace of Eric was found.

This incident also attracted the attention of the king himself - this is natural. Judging from the traces of the scene, there seemed to be a large-scale conflict within the palace last night, but no one in the entire palace noticed it. If the enemy came to assassinate or had other similar intentions, the consequences might be unimaginable.

After hours of searching failed, all clues seemed to be able to point to the only conclusion - the answer was in the rushing river under the cliff.

Ruiwen stood by the cliff, looking worriedly at the flowing water below. She didn't close her eyes all night last night, searched along the river bank for a whole circle, but didn't come back until the early morning, but she still found nothing.

"Eric..." she murmured the name of the person she cared about.

"He won't be in trouble."

Ruiwen turned around in the voice, but saw that it was Princess Mia.

"Don't worry, he is not such an easy-to-handle character, isn't he?" Princess Mia smiled and patted her on the shoulder, saying, "And I have used as many resources as possible to search, and my father is also very concerned... As long as he is still in our country, there should be clues soon, right?"

"Yeah, thank you." Ruiwen nodded, "Please give me yours."

But that was just a comforting word after all. If you were not worried, you would definitely be lying. After the princess left, Raven thought about it and took out a silver badge from behind, with a "T" mark printed on the smooth surface.

That is the identity proof of the young Titan member, and it also serves as an emergency contact tool. It was designed by Nightwing himself.

As the line was connected, Nightwing's voice came from there quickly: "This is the Titan headquarters, is there anything wrong?"

"It's Eric," Raven said, "He might... something happened to him, in Sincalilan. I think I might need your help."

The Sky Eye Meeting, in the office of the person in charge.

Amanda Waller sat on a chair behind his desk, lifting her fat wrist every minute, looking at the mechanical watch that was tightly clasped on his wrist once, and every time he looked at the face, he added a little impatience.

Finally, after she looked at the watch several times, the office door was finally pushed open. A man in a black suit and shiny brown hair walked into the office, holding a paper cup in his hand, and the fragrance was hot.

"I've been waiting for a long time." The man grinned and showed his neat white teeth, "Can we start?"

"Victor, I was ready three hours ago." Waller said coldly, "Where have you gone?"

"I've arrived as soon as possible, Ms. Waller." Victor shrugged helplessly, took a sip of coffee, and seemed to have not taken the lateness to heart at all. Waller only frowned, but didn't say much.

This man is not her subordinate. If he has to say something, the other party's position is actually higher than that of himself, and she can't blame too much.

But the issues we are going to discuss today cannot be avoided.

"I'm worried you didn't take this seriously, Victor," Waller said, "you should be careful."

"Relax, Ms. Waller, of course I'm serious," Victor smiled. "Although you thought of organizing dangerous criminals with special talents in prison and founded the "Suicide Squad", I think you don't know enough about them. I understand people's hearts and well-versed in the ways of using people. I understand what they want, which is why I can control them better than you."

"That's what I'm worried about - you underestimate them, Victor," Waller said. "They're killers, lunatics, more dangerous than you can imagine. A nanobomb in your neck doesn't always limit their movements."

"And maybe you're just unhappy I snatched the command of this squad." Victor sat on the chair at the desk where he was entertaining guests with his legs crossed his arms and smiled.

"If you think so, it's too naive." Waller said lightly, "Also, I heard you asked the team to bring back the kid who held the Alpha armor of the Amodor Alpha? What are you thinking? You know that kid has been being watched by ASCHUAN, right? And he has a lot of connection with the Justice League...What did you do to him? Did you...tamper with his memory?"

Victor waved his hand.

"Don't show such a terrible expression, Waller. I'm very happy to have such a powerful helper to join the team, but his amnesia does have nothing to do with me." Victor said. "According to the report, the team had already lost his memory when they found him. It is speculated that it should be related to the battle that caused him to fall into a coma. But no matter what, I think this is God's help - where can you find a combat power with such strong and cheap ability?"

Waller frowned.

"I must warn you one last time, Victor." She said in a deep voice, "You are playing with fire."
