765. Maui Dolphin Conservation Area (4/5)

Two speedboats were driving on the sea one by one and one behind. A bearded man was sitting in the passenger seat and smoking. He put his legs on the side of the boat and let the sea water splashed from the bow fall on his feet, enjoying it.

The driver was a middle-aged white woman with a big waist and a round waist. She said dissatisfiedly: "Damn it, where did that Chinese guy go? Why did he find it after searching for so long but he still didn't find the signal?"

He said lazily, "Don't worry, he can't run out of Jindao. I bet he will be not far from us, so look for it."

The speedboat behind chased after him, and a middle-aged man above who was almost like a beard shouted: "Chris, is the signal detector still not responding? We have searched around the island for a while!"

Bearded Chris said: "Don't worry, keep looking, let's drive out, after all, this is a civilian tracker, and it's useless if it's too far."

The woman driving the boat said, "Can it be that Chinese guy who discovered the tracker? He may have thrown the tracker away, what should I do?"

Chris said confidently: "Impossible. Who can remove the outboard machine and see what's going on inside? I put the tracker inside and will not be discovered."

The speedboat from behind approached, and the middle-aged man above said, "Even if he didn't find it this time, he would realize it next time, right? We can always find him, and he will definitely doubt something."

"Suspect us to use a tracker?" Chris asked back, "No, no, this is not a spy war movie, who would guess that?"

"As long as he is not stupid, he will guess something." The middle-aged man insisted.

Chris smiled and said, "But what should I do if he is so stupid? Listen to me, man, these yellow people, especially Asians, are stupid, just like those Maori people in New Zealand."

"The yellow race is indeed stupid, and the Maori are the yellow race." The middle-aged woman who drove the boat agreed.

The middle-aged man was still wondering: "But we have never discovered them. Have you not doubted anything?"

"You're too suspicious, Raf, we just haven't found it yet." Chris said casually.

The middle-aged man Raf said, "Okay, let's continue to look for them. This time we'll find it. We'd better negotiate with him to see if we can cooperate."

"How could he work with us? Who would work with others?" The middle-aged woman immediately refuted his proposal.

Raff snorted, "Why have to follow them like this? We'll just go to where we found them yesterday."

"Didn't you go to sea to see it yesterday? There are not many black gold abalones there, we have to chase them." Clayson said.

Ruff said: "It is also possible that there are a lot of black gold abalones there, but we can't find them. Maybe the Chinese guy has some unique means."

Hearing him say this, Chris retracted his legs and sat up and asked, "You mean, what instrument did he use?"

"It is also possible that he came from the United States, maybe they invented something small instrument that searches for some kind of creature underwater."

"Then we have to keep an eye on him. If that's the case, that's interesting. We'll catch him and ask him to work for us, otherwise we'll call the police to deal with them!" Chris said expectantly.

The two speedboats expanded their search range and revolved around the island.

When he turned to the southwest corner of Golden Island, a flashing red dot suddenly appeared on the screen of Chris' speedboat, but the red dot only appeared for a short time for a second, and then disappeared.

Seeing this, Chris and the woman who drove the boat were excited. They looked at each other and Chris said, "Ha, I found him, he can't run away!"

The two fast-moving speedboats slowed down, and the middle-aged man behind caught up and asked, "Did you find out what's going on?"

Chris said: "Yes, their ship must be around. I saw the reconnaissance just now, so I looked for it here."

Their ship continued to drive southwest, and the red dots appeared again.

Seeing this, Chris was refreshed. He looked around and saw a speedboat docking at the edge of the coast in the distance.

"It's right there, how did this bastard dock? Go and see what he is doing." Chris waved and ordered.

The middle-aged woman was about to drive the boat to speed up, when Ruff behind her chased her and stopped them, frowned and said, "This is not right, Chris, it shouldn't be here."

"Why?" Chris asked.

Ruff said: "This is the Maui Dolphin Conservation Area. Look, there is a cordon made of drifting balls in front of the water!"

The Maui dolphin is an endangered subspecies, very precious and very rare.

They are the smallest dolphin species in the world. Even if they are adults, their body length is at most 1.7 meters. They are the smallest dolphin in the world and are called the "Hobbit in the Sea".

Due to the heavy nylon fish net fishing method of humans, this dolphin was caught and died in large numbers, and the number of existing dolphins suddenly decreased. According to statistics, there are only 55 adult Maui dolphins left, while there are not even 20 female Maui dolphins in the breeding period.

This dolphin only exists in the southern hemisphere, most of which are in shallow waters around New Zealand, but has also been found in shallow waters at the southwest end of Golden Island in recent years.

To this end, the Australian Marine Department and the Fisheries and the Fisheries Bureau have specially set up a conservation area here to protect several Maui dolphins that appear by chance.

Not only that, Australia has also joined hands with the Cetacean Science Committee under the New Zealand government to hold an annual meeting on the protection of Maui dolphins every year.

After a recent meeting, they jointly released a report expressing "extreme concern" about the "severely endangered" situation of the Maui dolphin.

The report requires the Australian and New Zealand governments to immediately implement a fishing ban in the waters of the Maui dolphins' conservation areas, and pay attention to the potential threats of human activities such as seabed mining and earthquake observation to Maui dolphins.

In addition, they also require tourists, fishermen and other non-government personnel not to enter the conservation area and use their efforts to protect the dolphin.

In fact, from the efforts of Australia to protect the black gold abalone, we can know how strong they are to protect the Maui dolphins. At least there are many black gold abalones, and there is no problem with tens of thousands of yuan in all sizes.

What about Maui dolphins? There may be less than five in Australia!

After hearing Raf's words, Chris reacted. He stood on the speedboat and scanned the surrounding environment, frowned and muttered: "It's so unlucky, it's really here, it's really Maui dolphin conservation area."

"We can't enter the conservation area. If the Chinese are inside, we can call the police, and the fishing and hunting bureau and the police will send them to jail."

Speaking of this, he laughed gloatingly.
