251. The truth of the specimen (the secret language alliance of time +1)

Seeing the new bottle rolling out, Li Du picked it up and smiled, "There is a Santa Claus on it? This is Santa Claus, right?"

Hans was excited and said, "Santa? Yes, this is the original Santa! Damn, this bottle is very valuable!"

Li Du asked, “Is it also an antique bottle?”

Hans pointed to the concave and concave glass label on the bottle and said, "It has been around for at least half a century, because since 1957, Coca-Cola changed the pressed logo on the glass bottle to a printed label."

"What's going on with Santa Claus above?" Li Du asked, "The information I just searched for is not introduced."

Hans said: "No need for information, I know what's going on!"

The legend of Santa Claus has existed for centuries, but its classic image was born in the early 20th century. The father of its creation was created by the illustrator Harden Sandbrom.

As early as the beginning of creation, Santa Claus's image was green rather than red, because Sandbrom believed that Santa Claus came from the country of ice and snow, loved nature and green.

But by 1931, the United States was in a recession, and Coca-Cola wanted to design a child's favorite mascot in heartwarming colors.

Later, after screening, the popular Santa Claus came into their sight.

But, how do you connect Santa Claus with the Coke mascot? How can you think of Coca-Cola when you see Santa?

A genius creativity was born, and the designer combined Santa Claus with the red and white logo color scheme!

So, Santa Claus, wearing a cuckold, wearing green clothes and driving a green sled car, turned into a fat old man with a cute appearance, a friendly smile, and a red cotton coat.

"Many Americans know about this change process. When I was a child, I wondered why Santa Claus had to wear red clothes? Then my mother told me this allusion."

Hans said this with a smile on his face. He looked at the green bottle in his hand and said, "Look, the Santa Claus on it is still green!"

Li Du said: "This means that this bottle was born before 1931?"

Hans nodded and said, "Yes, this bottle should be of great memorial value."

There were bottles in the vending machine, and they continued to throw them into the steel pound, and a total of twelve bottles rolled out.

These bottles are old-fashioned Coke bottles, which should have been collected by the owner before. Later, I forgot their existence and left them in the warehouse.

Hans carefully collected the bottles and said, "I'll contact someone who collects this thing. If I can find the right buyer, they will definitely make a big profit."

After packing up the Coke vending machine, they worked together to clean up the warehouse and returned to Flagpole City while the night was dark.

It was too hot during the day, and they were already resting in the afternoon, and Hans and Godzilla took turns driving, and there was no danger in driving at night.

The night wind was cool, and Li Du opened the car window and blew the wind, looking at the endless night, feeling refreshed.

When he got home at dawn, he slept until afternoon. After getting up, he turned on his phone to see if there were any messages from Hans. Hans said that he would immediately look for a buyer when he went back.

The phone message was empty, but he noticed that his face-book had some text messages, all under the specimen image he posted.

After changing to this avian skeleton specimen from Amish, he had not found out his identity and took a photo and posted it online.

But later he was busy looking for four things that Amixu needed, and then went to Los Angeles to attend the auction, so he threw this matter behind his head.

The text messages below the image are all from two people, one is called "Dr. Clincoln" and the other is called "Mr. Steel Steve".

The first message was left by Dr. Clincoln: Is this true? Where is the specimen on this picture?

The second message was still sent by Dr. Clincoln: This must be a PS photo, and it is impossible to have such a complete dodo bone specimen.

The third message is left by Mr. Steel Steve: How can I contact you? This specimen is so beautiful. My phone number is as follows and it starts on 24 hours a day.

The fourth message is left by Dr. Clincoln: This is my phone number, if you have this specimen, I would like to talk to you.

Article 5: Why haven’t you replied yet? You haven’t waited for your phone call. It seems that this is a fake photo?

Article 6: Is this a farce? It's so shameful, you insulted nature and scientific research!

Article 7, Article 8, Article 9…

Dr. Clincoln's words became more and more stern in the future. He kept leaving messages and sent one every day, which was quite patient.

Li Du has read these messages and heard from the doctor's meaning that this specimen is the bone of a dodo? No wonder he couldn't recognize it, this thing has long been extinct!

He is not unfamiliar with the dodo birds. As early as elementary school, they were introduced in textbooks.

The dodo is a kind of bird that lives in Mauritius. It entered the textbook because it is the first animal recorded by humans to be extinct due to human activities.

In Li Du’s memory, the dodo birds appear in textbooks must be accompanied by topics such as “protecting the environment” and “maintaining ecological stability”.

He quickly recalled his impression of the dodo, and found that except for knowing that it exists in Mauritius, it has long been extinct and is very large, he has no idea about anything else.

So he called according to the phone number left by Dr. Claken to see if he could learn more from the doctor.

The phone quickly answered and a rough voice sounded: "Hello, this is the Metropolitan Poultry Museum in New York. I am George Claken. Who are you?"

Li Du said: "Hello, Professor Claken, I am Li, that's how I posted a photo of avian bone specimens on the Internet..."

"Dodo! Dodo specimen! That photo was posted by you? Do you have a dodo skeleton specimen? It's what the photo shows? Or is it PS?"

Before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by the professor and asked him a series of questions.

Li Du had to answer first: "Yes, the photo was posted by me. I have a dodo specimen. It is not PS, it is just as shown in the photo."

Professor Clincoln was excited: "My God, you swear you are not teasing me?"

Li Du smiled and said, "It's just a specimen of avian bones. What's the point of teasing about this? It's not a precious thing. I just happened to get it..."
