13. Hulk Assault [43/40](1/2)

Time turned forward for ten minutes, and on the second floor of the chaotic Trident Building, Bruce Banner was busy.

Behind him, the big stone man-born, made of rocks, was beating the mechas controlled by the tyrants and Hydras who rushed over from all directions.

Dr. Reed Richards's friend, who turned into a stone man because of cosmic ray radiation, was like a wall, blocking his friends in front of him.

No matter who the attacker was, he would not allow them to pass.

After Betty learned that her father was taken to the Trident Building by the Joker, she and Banner immediately went to the Baxter Building and asked Dr. Reed for help.

Their request was answered, and in fact, even if Banner and Betty didn't come, Dr. Reid Richards had to come to Trident Building.

"Dr., the remote module in the Baxter Building is ready!"

On the projection beside Dr. Reid, Betty is plugging a sophisticated chip into the interface of the Baxter Building lab computer.

She told Dr. Reid, who was far away in the Trident Building:

"As long as you complete the deployment, the spiritual interferometer here can be activated at any time."

"Thank you, Betty, we're almost done here."

Dr. Reed stretched his hands like rubber, and his flexible fingers quickly combined a bunch of packed parts, while answering softly:

"Please help me take care of my wife, if things go well, we may be able to go back in a while."

"We have also determined your father's location, he is nearby and safe."

Bruce Banner said to Betty in the projection:

"I'll save him soon, don't worry, Betty."

"I'm worried about my father, but I'm worried about you, Banner."

Betty said worriedly:

"The situation is too bad now. The detectors in the laboratory have been calling the police. The energy level in the Trident Building has exceeded the high-risk level. It is really dangerous for you to stay there."

“Once this chaos continues to expand, it will be dangerous wherever we stay.”

Dr. Reed interjected:

"If the chaos can be calmed down in this place of origin, this city will be saved."

"Now I can only pray that this instrument works, OK, Betty, you're in the lab ready to respond to data requests."

"Swish"

The projection disappeared the next moment, and Reed sighed.

If he could, he would rather be with his wife who was about to give birth in this chaotic moment, but he could not.

There are crazy guys everywhere in New York, the city order is rapidly collapsing, and the hellish insight motherships, mad clowns who are preparing to create massacres, etc.

These factors crowded together, making Reed unable to sit and watch.

"Doctor, I'm quite curious. Who asked you to design this mind interferometer? If I read it correctly, the principle of this thing is like an emp that acts on the mind."

Beside Reed, Banner's fingers twitched on the keyboard.

He is probably one of the few people in the world who can keep up with Dr. Reed's thinking circuit.

While quickly resetting the program, he took a look at the assembled instruments beside him.

This thing looks like an extra-large energy pointer, with a complex ring-shaped design rotating around the pointer at the top.

It looks full of technology.

"This thing was definitely not designed by you temporarily."

Banner said:

"Maybe you were busy preparing it before the chaos began. Are you really as smart as you rumored to be able to predict the unknown?"

"Of course not, someone reminded me."

Reed shook his head and explained:

"It's Merlin, who called me before and explained the situation briefly. He told me that a large-scale chaos might appear, so I can prepare for it in advance."

The doctor glanced at the assembled interferometer under his feet and said:

"You said it right. This thing works similarly to emp."

"If the thoughts of those controlled are really disturbed as Merlin said, then the electromagnetic shock wave generated when the instrument is activated will help them re-correct their thinking."

"I don't know much about those magical things."

Reed pushed the test glasses on his face. He glanced at the situation behind him. After confirming that Ben could still withstand, he said:

"But I think if only those replaced thinking need to be destroyed, then this interferometer is enough."

"Do you still trust Merlin?"

Banner asked:

"After he was almost wanted by all the governments in the world, you saw it just now. He and a few people tried to attack S.H.E.L.D. headquarters were like those big villains."

"hehe."

Dr. Reid smiled, and he whispered as he twisted his arms into a weird shape and assembled the last part of the mind interferometer:

"Is what everyone is saying necessarily true?"

"We should have our own judgment. To be honest, I want to choose between SHIELD, the official and Merlin to trust me more than I would trust Merlin."

The doctor blinked, and he said:

"What's more, I owe him a favor, a favor that I have to pay back."

"yes"

Banner sighed and said:

"They wanted Merlin. They fired spacecraft into the sky that could kill countless people, trying to stop the chaos with violence, and then release a group of dangerous biological and chemical weapons into the city to "protect" the people."

"What is Merlin, who was declared a bad guy, doing?"

"When everyone was betrayal, he was still trying to release those controlled people, and he planned to save some people worth saving."

"Just rushing to this point, I think we should be on Merlin's side."

"Click"

The last character is typed into the computer, and next to Banner, the program setting of the energy probe is completed.

With the access of energy, the top of the probe began to emit blue light, and the entire probe began to rotate, and blue arcs were jumping on the probe.

"It also needs to be charged, to cover the entire building, it may take several minutes."

"You and Ben are here to guard?"

Banner glanced at the stone man who beat the tyrant and Hydra behind him, and he said to Reed:

"I'm going to find General Rose, Betty is still waiting."

"I'll go with you,"

Dr. Reed glanced at Banner and said:

"I'm worried that you may not be able to control Hulk. The situation is messy enough now. Once Hulk jumps out, it will be quite troublesome."

"In fact, if you didn't need your help setting up the interferometer program, I would rather you stay in the Baxter Mansion."

“There are always some things we have to do.”

Banner sighed and said:

"Isn't that group of people caught General Ross here just to lure Hulk out? They hope Hulk will disrupt the situation."

"Then you are still here? Going into the trap?"

Dr. Reed said suspiciously:

"Or, are you ready?"

“In the years since joining s.d.o.l.d., Merlin has been helping me communicate with Hulk.”

Banner took off his glasses and he smiled at Reid, saying:

"Although Hulk is still not willing to pay attention to me, if they are eager to see a completely chaotic Hulk, they are probably going to be disappointed this time."

"Click"

Banner's fingers clasped, and a strand of green skin emerged on his fingers.

His clothes began to become wider, and his clothes were torn apart by the swelling muscles, and his face was twisted. Soon, square, Hulk, like a giant, appeared in front of Dr. Reed.

Hulk blinked his green pupils, and he sprayed two air columns from his nostrils, and he said in a muffled voice:

"The weak Banner begged Hulk! Betty needs Hulk!"

"Bang"

Hulk's fists collided with each other, making a low collision sound, and a silly smile appeared on his face, he said:
To be continued...
