62. The Spear of Destiny(2/2)
"The spear of destiny, also called it "St. Langhinus," said that it pierced the body of Christ and thus contaminated with the blood of holy."
Gabriel looked at the weapon in Merlin's hand, and she said softly as if she was introducing it:
"But the rumors are quite false, or the holy objects that the world respects are just copies of this thing, which have been stored in the secret cabinet of heaven since its birth, and there is no second user except my Lord."
"It is a tool used by our Lord to make and repair the world. It has not participated in the battle, nor has it been stained with the blood of any enemy chief."
The Archangel whispered:
"To be honest, I really don't understand, what's the point of it after you've spent so much effort chasing it?"
"I won't tell you."
The Raven Lord was holding the Spear of Destiny as if he was holding a short sword, and waved it several times in the air, which felt quite easy.
He looked at Gabriel and said:
"But you will know the reason when I use it. Let me introduce it to me. Regarding the magical use of this weapon of creation, I heard that it can control fate?"
"That's an exaggeration."
The Archangel's tone was explained easily:
"Because it has been held for a long time by our Lord, its breath can indeed make all creatures within one hundred and twenty feet surrender, but it does not come from the weapon itself, but from the majesty of our Lord..."
"Yeah?"
A hint of joking flashed in Merlin's blue eyes.
He suddenly raised the broken spear in his hand and said to the Angel 2 meters in front of him:
"So St. Gabriel! Submit to me!"
When Merlin raised her broken spear, Gabriel felt something was wrong. She quickly retreated, but before Merlin gave her instructions, she was not able to stay away from Merlin one hundred and twenty feet away.
So, in the Maharaja's gaze, Gabriel's expression became confused.
She flapped her wings and slowly fell from the air. She knelt half-kneeled in front of the Lord with a sincere attitude. She lowered her head, closed her wings, and said in a dreamlike voice:
"I surrender to you, my master..."
"Tsk tsk"
Merlin flicked his tongue, and he stood up, walked forward, stretched out his finger, and pointed it on Gabriel's chin, lifting the Archangel's face.
He looked at Gabriel's blank and silent gaze, and after a few seconds, he said with some excitement:
"Stop playing, your acting skills are very poor, you know?"
"It's boring."
The half-kneeling on the ground became agile again. She patted Merlin's finger on her chin. She stuck out her tongue and licked her lips. With a provocative look, she said to the Maharaja with disdain:
"I'm still looking forward to what you want me to do next, Merlin..."
"Stay on."
The raven looked at the spear of fate in his hand.
Although Gabriel concealed it well, at that moment, she was indeed trapped in forced surrender, which could not be hidden from Merlin's senses.
The spear of fate comes from heaven and from God, and the archangel who serves God is completely incompatible with it.
This is not surprising.
But if Gabriel cannot save the power of this thing, it means that other hell kings who are on the same level as her cannot.
"In addition to the one hundred and twenty feet of the realm of fate, the biggest feature of the Spear of Destiny is that it is sharp enough."
The Archangel patted the dust of her pants and said to Merlin:
"Its sharpness is conceptual, and any form of defense will be broken, in other words, when you hold it, even the real god will bleed before your eyes."
"Yeah, this is good!"
Merlin nodded with satisfaction.
Under Gabriel's gaze, he clamped the edge of the Spear of Destiny with his fingers. After a tearing, a blue cosmic force was pulled out of the Spear of Destiny.
The blue, slime-like energy was slapped on the Book of Ravens at her waist by Merlin's backhand.
Like the bright light of stars flashed away on the surface of the book.
This scene made the Angel's eyes widen.
Sure enough, Merlin's purpose in seeking God for the Spear of Destiny is not simply.
Although the Archangel didn't know what the blue energy represented, she could feel the distant desolation from the origin of the stars.
"Swish"
After the force of the universe was stripped away, the Raven Lord threw the spear of fate into the orange cocoon in his hand in front of the archangel.
The Blade of Vanity, which was transforming, felt the master's movements. It made a roar of joy and swallowed the spear of fate into its cocoon of light.
The next moment, the sound of steel tearing and biting became violent in vain.
"you!"
This scene made the archangel suddenly angry. The big wings behind her lined up. In the wind, she pointed at Merlin and screamed:
"That's...how can you..."
"I completed the agreement and this thing belongs to me."
Merlin waved her hand and interrupted Gabriel's rebuke, saying:
"How to use and how to deal with it is my business. For our friendly relationship, don't meddle in other people's business, okay?"
"All right."
Gabriel hesitated for a few seconds, then breathed a sigh of relief.
The archangel plucked the wings behind her and helped herself sort out the somewhat furry feathers. Her expression became lazy again. She hooked her fingers at Merlin, and she said:
"Back to the beginning, should I go have a drink together?"
"Forget it today."
Merlin put away the light cocoon in his hand, he looked at the sky, and said:
"One of my 'friends' returned from a long journey and brought me a gift. An important thing has been delayed for too long. I don't want to wait any longer."
