Chapter 103 Breaking the Game XVII(1/2)

Fang Plover picked up the staff.

Suddenly, the scepter gradually lost its splendor in his hand, revealing its true appearance, which was eleven inches and four minutes long and could be held in one hand. The national emblem of the Kaolin Kingdom on it was mottled and faded.

Tiny whispers lingered in the empty room.

He held the scepter, and the voices in his ears suddenly gathered from all directions, becoming clear and audible. It was an old plea:

"Mr. Manlo, don't just watch, come and help me...ah, it hurts me to death, these damn thieves. There are also His Majesty the King's Knights of the Dawn, they are of no use at all, and I don't know how to leave any one behind."

Someone come and help me.”

A sharp and thin voice said: "That's not true, I asked them to leave, respected Lord Deklan."

"You? Forget it, it's better to catch those lawless guys, otherwise they will definitely cause trouble for me at the celebration."

"Don't worry, the celebration will be held as scheduled."

"Thank you, Mr. Manlo, I never knew you were such a talkative guy before."

"That's not true, it's just me talking to myself."

"Talking to yourself?"

"Do you know why I asked the knights to leave?"

"Why? Isn't it to catch those two damn thieves?"

"That's not true. It's just that there are too many people and it's inconvenient to do things."

"It's not convenient...wait, what do you want to do!? Guard, guard! Don't come here!"

In the dark room, the screams stopped suddenly.

There was a sound of metal colliding, which was the sound of a long sword being thrown to the bottom.

"Ah," the sharp and thin voice said: "What a poisonous sword, what a vicious paladin. Don't worry, Lord Deklan, I will help you take revenge."

The sound was like withered leaves, picked up by the night wind, and gradually faded away.

In the darkness, stood an old man with a face as pale as a dead man. The disgusting white patches on his forehead were particularly conspicuous in the moonlight.

Fang Yu and Sylvide looked at the old man quietly and said, "Is this regret, Mr. Deklen?"

"I want revenge all the time, young man." The old man's voice was like sand.

Fang Yu shook his head: "You still haven't understood where you went wrong."

"That doesn't matter, I just want revenge."

"Maybe I will help you, but not for you."

"That doesn't matter," the old man glanced at him: "Remember your words, young man."

His voice disappeared into the darkness.

Fang Plover looked at the scepter in his hand, and a line of small words appeared on it:

'Regret is like poison, biting the heart'

Scepter of Regret.

Sylvide looked at him silently from the side, then stepped forward and helped him open a door that appeared in the darkness.

The two of them had never communicated, but they seemed to have some kind of tacit understanding, and Fang Yu acquiesced to her actions.

The scene changed again.

Ahead was Lady Vineleaf Hotel. The newly painted door was as new as ever. The door was painted with gold, and the sign hanging on the door frame was not as mottled and moss-covered as he saw later.

The name of the hotel was written in cursive script on it, along with a line of smaller text:

‘A warm haven for travelers’

But under the overturned nest, there are eggs intact. At this moment, Dolifen has no warmth and no safe haven. Fang Plover walked up the steps and pushed the door open.

Before his hand touched the door, the door suddenly opened from left to right with a bang, and ghost knights appeared out of thin air, pouring into the hotel from both sides of him.

Fang Plover and Sylvester were in this torrent.

I just feel like this scene seems familiar.

A high-pitched and thin voice shouted out of thin air: "Go and catch them, believers, it was these traitors who killed Master Deklan!"

In Ms. Ivyleaf's hall, guards and dawn knights surrounded her.

Sitting in their former position are Misu and Dict. "What's going on? How did they know we were in this place!?"

"Luen is gone."

"You mean Lu En betrayed us?" Misu's face turned pale: "This is impossible, how could he do that!?"

"I didn't say anything," Dict said with a cold expression, "just a statement."

Misu gritted his teeth: "I don't believe Lu En would do that."

"Anyway, break out first."

"Break out separately. Only in this way can we have a chance. Mr. Dict, whoever of us manages to leave must find a way to ruin the celebration."

The older knight nodded.

Knights, cultists and heroes, all illusions disappear.

Fang Yu walked into the hall and suddenly saw a pale young man in the shadow of a corner not far away, looking anxiously in this direction.

But his eyes were empty, as if they were passing through his and Sylvester's bodies.

He had long soft golden hair, looked like he had been drained by alcohol, was wearing a sailor's shirt, and had a bulging bag in his pocket, looking flustered.

Then the image of the young man also disappeared.

Lady Vineleaf's hotel was surrounded by mist, and there was only one upward staircase, as if inviting him and Sylvade to enter. Sylvide was at his side with him as the leader, while the maid silently carried the stone statue.

.

Fang Plover felt that the staff in his hand seemed to have changed.

He looked down and found that the scepter had attributes:

Scepter of Regret (magic guide, equipment level, d+)

Basic attributes: Attack 44-57

Plug-in additions: Strength slightly increased +, perception increased +, shield protection iv, shock law

Weight:1.4kg

Interface/output occupancy: main weapon interface, 140m

Requirement level: any level 12

‘Under the illusion of Dolifen, those who hold the command can ignore its level restrictions’

'Regret is like poison, biting the heart'

‘To rule the armies’

What an ancient magic weapon.

This was Fang Plover’s first exclamation.

The second puzzling thing is the last three lines of text on the scepter attribute list. They appear in the attribute list and obviously have their own attribute meanings.

But except for the first line of text, which he could understand, the rest was unclear.

"Want to go up?" Sylvide asked, looking at the stairs.

Fang Yu put down his scepter and nodded.

As I walked up to the second floor, I heard a sound of sobbing.

Then came a more imposing voice: "She trapped you in this place, but you still want to think about her? Wake up, Jeffrey, you understand who is for everyone in this illusion, go ahead

, go and do as I say.”

"No, I can't do that. I can't make the same mistake again and again, Lord Nicol Bolas." The young man begged, crying bitterly.

"Haha, do you think I am begging you? Jeffrey, you have sold your soul to the devil, and it is too late for you to regret it now. Do you think you are still a pure and innocent person, a libertine?"

"Sir, it's me"

"No buts."

The voice said more sternly.

The sobs became deeper and deeper, intermittent.

"Go, do as I say, Jeffrey, and I will redeem you. You are mine and you don't need to ask anyone for forgiveness."

"Take it, go get that thing out"

Fang Plover saw two long shadows in the darkness at the end of the corridor.

They knelt on the ground together and cried bitterly.
